    • 90+4' Again it's played short, and again they show their inability to use that tactic as Bayern get it back. It's soon played back to Sommer who clears... and there's the final whistle!     • 90+3' Goalscorer Stocker unsurprisingly keeps it in that corner until Alaba takes it from between his sheilding legs, only to let the ball sleep and concede a throw. Now Steinhofer gets another corner out on the right.
    • 90+2' Zoua's in on the counter! Can only win the corner off the legs fo Boateng.
    • 90+1' Lahm and Robben exchange passes on the edge of the box and Basel just can't seem to get it clear, until they eventually take the ball from Olic.
    • 90' Four minutes of stoppage time for Basel to hang on here.
    • 89' Bayern bring off Kroos for Ivica Olic in a last-ditch attempt to find an away goal, while Basel do the opposite and remove striker Frei to bring on Cabral.
    • 88' Robben's cross goes straight to Sommer, but Muller draws the ire of the home team in going for it after he catches with a high foot. He's highly apologetic, and he should be - last thing he wants is to be sent off for a second yellow and miss what will now be a crucial second leg.

    • 65' Robben to shoot. Low and it's blocked by the wall. It comes back to Gomez who tries an overhead kick... but it's hit more up in the air than at goal and allows Sommer to make a routine catch.

    • 45' Just as Bayern take the corner, one of referee Rizzoli's assistants appears to give his take on the decision and very belatedly, it's changed to a goal kick.
    • 44' Steinhofer and Sommer is furious as a corner is given when the right-back clearly played the ball off Lahm last.

  14. Have to say Bayern at the moment remind me so much of­ my team, Arsenal. Can't defend, underwhelming in­ attack, can't finish chances they do create and end­ up losing to a soft goal. Alaba reminds me of Gervinho­ and Gomez of Van Persie, who seems to, very recently­ lost a little bit of form. However I would expect­ Bayern to do something about it, unlike the Gunners.

    if i see the field, they played on, its­ harder to play in basel. but the main problem is imo­ heynckes: why taking out ribery, one of the most active­ players of bayern? why no substitudes after ~60min,­ always too late,etc
