    • 90+3' The game swang in the favour of Anderlecht in the final stages after the departure of the influential Duda who got both of Malaga's goals, and a draw is a fair result at the end of a decent game. Sadly for Anderlecht it was too little too late and they finish bottom of the group.
    • 90' Anderlecht are the hungrier of the two sides as they sense some late hope Kameni called into action to prevent another goalbound effort by Mbokani.
    • 89' GOAL!!! The hard working Mbokani gets a deserved goal the slotting home Kljestan's sweet ball across the areal.
    • 88' Mbokani is caught offside as he goes in search of an equaliser.
    • 86' But the night is over for Jovanovic as he goes off for Ronald Vargas.
    • 84' The inventive Jovanovic is keeping the Malaga defence on their toes. He has been the best player on the Anderlecht side.
    • 83' It is no surprise Mbokani was protesting loudly to the referee when he was booked minutes ago. The Spanish side are all over him. He needs to stay calm.
    • 82' Mbokani is being consistently fouled and targeted by the Malaga players.
    • 81' Seba has not had the best of nights as he misses the target again... Pellegrini will not be impressed.
    • 80' No hat-trick for Duda as he departs and Francisco Portillo comes on for the last ten minutes.
    • 79' Biglia takes another Anderlecht corner and it is a decent delivery but Iturra reads it best and the ball is cleared.
    • 78' Duda is adjudged to be offside as he streams through looking for his hat-trick.
    • 77' A corner for Anderlecht is cleared with a powerful header by Ignacio Camacho and the Spaniards go on the coutner attack.
    • 76' Mbokani is booked for backchat as he shows his frustration to his colleagues and the referee.
    • 75' The Belgians look like they are happy to settle for a narrow defeat, they are lacking the ambition to push forward.
    • 74' Malaga are trying one or two long balls over the Anderlecht defence but there is no way through at the moment.
    • 72' A lull in the game as both side fail to maintain possession. Kameni pumps a huge kick up field and Anderlecht return it straight back to the Malaga goalkeeper.
    • 71' Anderlecht's European season is over if the score stays like this. Zenit St Petersburg are winning 1-0 at the San Siro and appear to be en route to the Europa League. Meanwhile, Dennis Praet departs for Tom De Sutter.
    • 70' Safari concedes a free-kick for a foul on Gamez as the hosts keep the pressure on.
    • 69' At the other end the Jovanovic-Kameni duel continues and the Malaga stopper makes another good save as the Anderlecht man beats his marker and squeezes through a decent shot.
    • 68' Proto has to be alert as the main man Duda raids into the box again, this time the goalkeeper comes out on top.
    • 67' Anderlecht get the ball clear from the corner but the sense is that there is another goal here for Malaga.
    • 66' Duda takes the free kick in search of his hat-trick and Proto makes a good save. Corner for Malaga.
    • 65' More problems with the playing surface, this time for Biglia who falls on Buonanotte just outside the visitor's penalty area and it's a free kick for the hosts.
    • 63' More good news for Malaga fans, Julio Baptista, out of action for more than a year because of an Achilles problem, is back in training and could return soon. They have a good squad and Baptista could be a welcome addition for the knockout stages.
    • 62' That was a quality piece of control and a tidy finish from the Portuguese midfielder, leading by example.
    • 61' GOAL!!! Malaga have the lead again, skipper Duda brilliantly controlling Buonanotte's pass, bringing the ball down on the left and smashing it past Proto for his second of the night.
    • 60' Duda almost latches on to a through ball but is just beaten to the ball by the lunging Safari.
    • 59' Good work from Eliseu and Duda sees Santa Cruz get a great chance in the Anderlecht box but the Paraguayan can only hit the post.
    • 58' The game is shifting in Malaga's favour in these last few minutes despite Jovanovic's effort which hit the post.
    • 57' Buonanotte is penalised for a foul on Safari as a Malaga attack comes to a frustrating end.
    • 55' Anderlecht have scored 49 UEFA Champions League goals in their history. Jovanovic was so close to making that 50 goals for the Belgian side.
    • 54' Jovanovic breaks through on the left and smashes a shot across Kameni's goal, beating the goalkeeper and hitting the right hand post. Excellent effort.
    • 53' Jesus Gamez comes on for Malaga as Weligton departs.
    • 52' Malaga are stright back on the attack and Duda tries to feed Santa Cruz. Proto bravely comes out to flick the ball away from the former Blackburn and Manchester City striker.
    • 50' GOAL!!! Anderlecht get the goal they deserve as Jovanovic nets with a cool chip over Kameni in the Malaga area.
    • 49' Onyewu is making a rare appearance for Malaga after struggling to regularly break in to the team since his move from Italy in the summer.
    • 48' Biglia takes a free kick from the right after Bruno is fouled by Eliseu, but former AC Milan defender Oguchi Onyewu heads clear.
    • 47' No changes for either side at half time. The players are struggling with the playing surface though, several falling unchallenged already this evening.
    • 46' Malaga kick-off the second half. Proto is trying to motivate the Anderlecht players shouting them on from his goal-
    • 45+2' The Anderlecht players are furious as the half comes to an end. Their goal should have stood and there also appears to be some trouble in the stands as the visiting fans let their tempers get the better of them.
    • 45' A very nice finish from the Malaga captain who found the top left hand corner from just outside the area.
    • 44' GOAL!!! Football can be so cruel. Anderlecht are denied a goal for offside as Safari finishes excellently at one end but the referee's assistant say his non-interfering teammate Jovanovic is interfering. Malaga counter attack and Duda scores a great goal from the edge of the box.
    • 43' This is Anderlecht's 350th game in UEFA competition; they have conceded 445 goals.
    • 42' Jovanovic breaks free on the Anderlecht left and has time to steady himself before crossing. It's a poor delivery though and Bruno and Mbokani are left stranded in the centre.
    • 40' Buonanotte is running without any hindrance again, after complaining about a kick to his shin a few minutes ago.
    • 39' Matías Suárez, Belgian Player of the Year last season, is not in Anderlecht's squad after being ruled out until late 2012 following knee surgery. They could do with him back soon by the look of their performance so far this evening.
    • 38' The game is slowing down as we reach the last five minutes of the first half.
    • 37' Buonanotte wanted a penalty there, claiming he was fouled just as he got his shot away. Don't think there was any foul there though.
    • 36' Excellent run by Buonanotte sees him jink into the visitor's penalty area and test Proto from 10 yards out, the Anderlecht goalkeeper producing a good save.
    • 35' Anderlecht's matchday four defeat of FC Zenit St Petersburg was their first win in ten group stage games, since Vincent Kompany earned a 1-0 victory at Real Betis on 6 December 2005 to end a record run of 12 group stage losses. It also marked Anderlecht's first group stage success at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium in almost nine years.
    • 34' Malaga are trying to play through balls on to Uruguayan attacker Seba but his marker Behrang Safari again has the measure of him.
    • 33' Málaga were defeated 1-0 at Getafe CF on Saturday, consigning them to their first back-to-back losses this season.
    • 32' Biglia delivers a corner from the left and then a second corner from the right, but Malaga get some relief as a foul is awarded against Anderlecht's Sacha Kljestan.
    • 31' After a torrid start Anderlecht have come into the game and now have a corner won by Milan Jovanovic on the left.
    • 30' After half an hour's play Malaga have Kameni to thank for protecting that good defensive record so far tonight.
    • 29' Málaga conceded their first goal of the group stage in Milan on matchday four; it was also the first time their defence had been breached in Europe this season in their sixth outing. The Spanish side have conceded just ten goals in 23 fixtures in UEFA competition.
    • 27' Another amazing save by Kameni who dives low to his right to keep out a volley from Massimo Bruno. A great rection save.
    • 26' Another Malaga attack ends with Proto intercepting a cross and steadying himself as Anderlecht get their shape back.
    • 25' Santa Cruz uses his physical presence to threaten the Anderlecht defence as a corner is whipped in by Duda but the visitors eventually get the ball clear.
    • 24' Anderlecht have won just one of their last six away games in Spain (W1 D1 L4).
    • 22' Replays of that Kameni save show just what a good stop it was, the Cameroon goalkeeper just preventing the ball from crossing the line.
    • 21' Lucas Biglia takes the resulting corner and Gillet is caught offside.
    • 20' A brilliant save by Kameni in the Malaga net, the 'keeper reacting excellently to a close range Mbokani header to stop a certain goal.
    • 19' Malaga were the fourth debutants in history to win their first three games in the UEFA Champions League, after AC Milan (1992/93), Paris Saint-Germain FC (1994/95) and Juventus (1995/96).
    • 17' Seba goes clear through on the Anderlecht and should test Proto but hesitates over his shot and the chance is gone. Good defending by Guillaume Gillet who tracked back from midfield.
    • 15' Toulalan seemed to have injured his left hamstring and goes off Ignacio Camacho.
    • 14' Malaga's French midfielder Jeremy Toulalan has gone down injured on his own.
    • 13' It's all Malaga at the moment, now Eliseu breaks on the left and fires a cross-shot at the Anderlecht goal from inside the six yard box which Silvio Proto gathers.
    • 12' Santa Cruz puts a low Oguchi Onyewu cross over the bar from close range, when it looked easier to score!
    • 11' Diego Buonanotte has a decent effort on goal the ball going just wide on the left.
    • 10' Anderlecht have won just one of their last 20 Champions League away games (W1 D5 L14).
    • 9' The shouldn't have been a yellow, but the referee wanted to stamp his authority on the game early in the proceedings.
    • 8' Duda wastes a free kick on the edge of the Anderlecht box, hitting the wall, and as the ball breaks clear he reacts in frustration and hacks down Dieudonne Mbokani. The referee books him and that's a pointless yellow.
    • 6' An excellent run by Eliseu sees him reach the touchline on the left hand side and cut back for Manuel Iturra, who drives a good low shot just wide of the right hand post. Decent effort.
    • 5' What a shame that Isco doesn't start tonight, he is a joy to watch. He received his award for the La Liga's 2011/12 breakthrough player of the year on 13 November, but he is on the bench here.
    • 4' The home side already looking sharper than their Belgian visitors pinging the ball around on the new surface.
    • 3' Malaga's playing surface has had to be relaid twice in recent weeks, first due to wear and tear and secondly due to some recent floods on the Costa del Sol.
    • 2' A quiet start with no clear chances and an early offside call against Roque Santa Cruz for Malaga.
    • 1' The game commences at La Rosaleda in southern Spain with visitors Anderlecht kicking off in a changed dark blue away kit and home side Malaga in their usual strip of light blue and white stripes.
    • 19.40 Match odds: Malaga evens, Anderlecht 11/4, draw 5/2.
    • 19.35 Furthermore, Malaga have only ever conceded one goal in a European tie on home soil in seven matches. So stand in Malaga goalkeeper Carlos Kameni could be in for a quiet night.
    • 19.30 Their manager Van Den Brom doesn't sound too hopeful and is rather cautious - so perhaps that's why Anderlecht have fired in fewer shots on target than any other team in the competition (7).
    • 19.25 John van den Brom (Anderlecht manager): "We have to be very careful with Malaga. In Brussels, we started out attacking, but they proved they are better than us. Malaga are the best team in this group and we wouldn't be very clever if we attacked from the off. I don't know whether Malaga will play with intensity from the kick-off, though I think they want to show why they are top of the group."
    • 19.20 Manuel Pellegrini (Malaga manager): "Every team wants to win when they go on the pitch; nobody wants to lose. We have to finish first in the group without suffering defeat. It would also be good for the club from a financial point of view."
    • 19.10 Malaga have already qualified as group winners thanks to their better head-to-head record against Milan, who are also through in second place. Zenit sit third on goal difference, level on head-to-head results with Anderlecht. If both remaining matches in the group end in a draw, Zenit go into the Europa League thanks to that better goal difference, so Anderlecht will only secure third place if they get more points than Zenit tonight or rectify the goal difference deficit.
    • 19.05 The other game in this group tonight sees AC Milan taking on Zenit St Petersburg in Italy. AC Milan vs Zenit St Petersburg live matchcast.
    • 19.00 Anderlecht have almost a complete squad at their disposal in their quest to secure a Europa League place, with only Bram Nuytinck missing out through suspension due to his red card against Milan. The Belgian champions hope Congolese striker Dieudonné Mbokani can do the business in Spain this evening, he is one of only two scorers for them in Group C and also earned two penalties in the win against Cercle Brugge at the weekend.
    • 18.55 Malaga are without defender Martin Demichelis after he received a third Champions League booking against Zenit St Petersburg. Sergio Sanchez replaces Demichelis in the starting XI while Manuel Iturra returns after completing his own suspension. Goalkeeper Willy Caballero is on the bench after getting a knock in the 1-0 loss to Getafe at the weekend. Isco and Joaquin are benched to give them a rest and Malaga give some game time to the likes of Roque Santa Cruz and Oguchi Onyewu.
    • 18.50 Teams: MALAGA: Kameni, Weligton, Sergio Sanchez, Onyewu, Toulalan, Iturra, Duda, Eliseu, Buonanotte, Seba, Santa Cruz... subs: Willy, Gamez, Camacho, Joaquin, Isco, Portillo, Juanmi. /// ANDERLECHT: Proto, Deschacht, Kouyate, Safari, Biglia, Kljestan, Praet, Gillet, Jovanovic, Mbokani, Bruno… subs: Kaminski, Odoi, Wasilewski, Molins, Fernando Canesin, Vargas, De Sutter.
