60' Vidic is booked for a foul on Yilmaz. The Turk made the most of that, Vidic having made slight contact with his wrist, after being first to the ball.
59' Vidic's header towards goal skims the top of the net, Nani having set him up with the corner. The big Serb is adamant that Muslera got a touch, but no corner is given.
57' Melo is booked for a foul on Rafael.
55' Altintop creates some space on the right. He crosses to the near post for Selcuk, whose cross-goal header is so close to levelling things up. De Gea was beaten!

47' Kagawa plays a beautiful one-two with Nani and tries to dink a shot past Muslera from close range. The goalkeeper produces a fine save. Corner to United.
46' Galatasaray get the second half underway.

38' Altintop’s powerful shot from the edge of the box clips the edge of the post. His was the hit from the cleverly-taken free-kick.
37' Evra is booked for a tackle on Amrabat. That gives Galatasary a free-kick just a yard outside the box on the right-hand side.
31' Melo’s challenge allows his side to break. The ball is fed to the advancing Eboue, who surges into the area and unleashes a fierce shot. De Gea pushes it wide and concedes the corner.

14' GALATASARAY SUB: Johan Elmander replaces Bulut
13' Bulut looks to be hobbling. Galatasaray fans will be praying that their club's top goalscorer isn't force off through injury so early in the game.
11' Amrabat hits the bar! And Galatasaray almost had an equaliser there. All because Scholes had done the unthinkable and misplaced a pass.
7' GOAL! MICHAEL CARRICK PUTS MAN UTD AHEAD! Van Persie plays the ball into Carrick outside the box, and he exchanges passes with Kagawa to bypass the entire back line. He tumbles to the ground under a challenge from Muslera, but refocuses to prod the ball past the Uruguayan.
5' Lovely little one-two between Nani and Kagawa on the left; the Portuguese winger being left with a great chance to put the home side in front, but Fernando Muslera makes an excellent save. Nani only had to dink it over him.
1' Burak Yilmaz drives forward for Galatasaray, the ball being worked into the box. Bulut tumbles in the area, but referee Wolfgang Stark says Nemanja Vidic's tackle is a fair one. Hmmm.

Manchester UnitedManager: Alex Ferguson
GalatasarayManager: Fatih Terim
Manchester your so good in football and in goals
The wingers and midfielders need to be less selfish and make openings for the strikers
All this chopping and changing does nothing for team cohesion and consistency
sir alex must do something and mostly he misses rooney
WAKE UP,WAKE UP TO WIN
For sure ALX what happen???????????????????????? were players not fed well before the match begins!!!!!!!
this is not UNITED way Froge! your boys two games two Penalty Miss????? Nani spoils total game yesterday. Not only the CL" staring from this sason NANI plays the way fuckall and selfishness. This the red alart for united,We atleast 4- 0 up against Galata.
Fleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetcher !!!!!
It does'nt matter how badly manchester united played the match, they scored one and kept a clean sheet that mean they won the match and that is all that matters.
All that Nani has is CR in his frickin head
Told you that 1-0 would be great at this time of year and that was a just 1-0 MOTM De Gea.
Funny how the conclusion says " If Galatasaray play like that against Braga though, they'll have no trouble qualifying for the knock-out stages." although Braga lost 2-0 at home to CFR Cluj, which are now the team to beat to get second place, and not Braga.
fergiescum dont like divers in the box does he ??????????????????????? why bring welbeck on then lol lol lol lol lol lol
when is Sir Alex going to learn from the past? Not only he brings in David de Gea, Patrice Evra, who all must be playing the reserve role, he did not have any vision for this game. If Nani thinks that penalties are goals, he has not learnt his lesson either. Is it not shameful of a team contending for the title loosing THREE penalties successively? In the absence of Rooney, a 90% penalty shooter, MANU of all lacks a penalty shooter. Thank God the officials were blind to all fouls that could earn their opponents a penalty today. The young inspiring squad that beat their opponents over the weekend should be relied opon Mr. Alx if you want results.
Oh dear, Oh dear, just where do they get these officials? Talk about inept at OT, the two penalties that Galatasaray feel they should have got, were NEVER penalties, the defenders had the ball (if not under control) & were clearing them when the forward nipped in, no way could a defender stop his foot kicking away the ball. Then, look at the Goal United scored: Carrick was through on goal, he WAS fouled in the act of scoring, the fact he managed to squeeze the ball into the net, is NOT a reason for taking action against the keeper, had it been a foul on another player, but advantage being played, the referee would have gone back to the offending player & cautioned him! A RED CARD offence, IS a RED card offence no matter what happens in the advantage. Third, NAni's penalty decision: he nut-megged the defender, who blocked his progress onto the ball = PENALTY every day of the week. Finally, Valencia's penalty: fine, the referee WAS unsighted, but, just what was/ is the fourth/ fifth official doing/ looking? I have YET to see a 4th/ 5th official make a decision, yet at OT tonight, he was NOT even looking at Valencia/ the ball. Again, the defender clipped Valencia, PENALTY every day of the week. United may be did not play well, but had they got a second goal, the Turks would no doubt have folded.
whats with all the empty seats? , how we going to pay the interest ?
NANI,why is this complete waste of time on the pitch.
if only nani didnt try to cheat so much
