Manchester City's Champions League campaign was left hanging by a thread after having to fight back from two down in a 2-2 draw with Ajax at the Etihad Stadium. More

Where have all the City fans gone? second home game and nowhere near a full house. Seems the fans are jumping ship and going back to the clubs they used to support before Abu Dhabi arrived. Man United 12 Man City 2 0ne billion spent on players and wages and still can't qualify for europes biggest trophy. At this rate they won't even qualify for the Europa Cup. No more expensive signings for Mancini forget Neymar he is out of your league doubt if he would want to play for a bunch of losers
20,000 EMPTY SEATS ARE YOU F'ING SURE
I hardly think it's Mancini's fault completely in fact I'd be very disappointed if he left! He's the best manager we've had for a long time and having seen the game not only should we have won it 3-2 we should have had a clear penalty! So the person responsible for Manchester City's loss wthout trying to sound cliche was the referee! I don't think it can be argued that Manchin has no passion for my beloved club nor do I think there is a better man for the job, so I'll take a few poor results on the chin in Europe for a few season, after all we won the Premiere League and FA Cup Trophies in 3 years which is an achievement if you ask me and yes I want us to win more but I dont think firing the manager who achieved these things in short succession is the answer!
Only German Football Clubs !!!!!!!
I don't know what "expert" gave the ratings here, but he clearly favors City over Ajax. Ajax deserved the 3 points tonight again just like their last match against City.
This is ALL Mancini's fault, he is USELESS GARBAGE as I have beeen saying for years ! It is a CRIME to spend millions and millions on world class players and not being able to get out of group stage 2 years in row. ; not being able to assemble the team capable to beat Ajax at home, win Epl only on GOAL difference in EXTRA time !! The sooner Man. CVity FIRES IDIOT Mancini - the BETTER OFF they will be !
Happily to say....bye bye half blue.
@Falcao They didn't win the league. Utd gave it to them because they felt sorry for them. A generous gesture so that they wouldn't collapse from grief.
Bad example of football tonite again
wasn't a penalty, city should try and score more goals than the other team than cheating the ref into given them penalty's and cheap free kicks
Its as if fans don't have any power imposing the use of technology in football ruling. I believe its up to fans to demand the use of technology in football. Days of MONEY TALKS are over!!! Fans of City are mourning today but the reality is your team is gonna be next. Wake up FANS do something before this kind of ruling hit molar nerve of your team.
come on roobed thats life as frank said football is played and money is played and that is the thing i bet the city season tickey price as gone up and there standard of play has not ket not forget the won the domestic title on goal difference and playing europes elite is sgowning the lack of pitch standard players who dont live up to price tags city fans and the media expect them to win 4-0 5-0 every week please the where poor at west ham and was shown up at times looking like a bunch of spoilt children trying to kindle a pass to the next shirt lets get real mancini will get chopped the guy is doing his best but the best in in his hands surley shows that it dont matter who picks the team the stars have a duty to the fans once the respect is mutual the trophies and the expectation will match the shape and future of the football club
Let me guess the ref was in utd's pocket.... wait can't use that excuse.
What are you lot moaning about it should have been a free kick too Ajax, and not to City. Stop winging City and all your TV pundit supporters. If you are that good you should have won, so have a look at your over paid so called star's and don't blame the ref.
I think the ref was spot on at the end.The ajax player was pulling his shirt but Balotelli had his hand on the ajax's players throat pulling the shirt.Six of one and six of the other
I was feeling a bit down earlier but seeing shyteh effectively go out at the emptyhead stadium has really cheered me up..... Mind you, I always did find clowns funny.
Thats a fair result in GD. Pressure mounts to Man City
all that money on players and still can't win.city more like --ity HA HA HA
Referee was an absolute disgrace. At 87 mins City scored the winner only to have it waved offside, it wasn't by quite a long way. Then at 93 mins Ballotelli was literally dragged to the ground by his shirt in the box, clearly seen by the ref but he ignored it and blew for time. A clear an abvious penalty. The ref should be removed from duty and investigated for his dubious/questionable behaviour.

While deficiencies at the back almost sent City crashing out of the competition, Aguero's dynamic performance up front helped keep the Premier League champions alive... for now.
