90+4' The full-time whistle goes and Cardiff's chance to go top of the Championship is spoiled by substitute Lewis McGugan's stoppage-time strike! Thanks for joining us.
90+1' GOAL!!! MCGUGAN EQUALISES IN STOPPAGE TIME! The ball falls for the substitute on the edge of the area after taking a deflection off Hudson, and he lashes home a fierce volley into the far corner of Marshall's net!
86' Forest pile bodies into the box for a corner and Wilson misses his kick as the ball falls to him, unmarked at the back post!
76' Moussi is the man to make way as McGugan, sporting a face mask, comes on in Forest's final throw of the dice.
65' Nathan McCleary comes on to replace Joe Garner for Forest as Billy Davies takes immediate action.
63' GOAL!!! BOTHROYD BREAKS THE DEADLOCK! Chopra and Ledley combine before an impeccably-weighted through ball from the Welshman finds Bothroyd who tucks his shot under the diving Lee Camp!
62' Dele Adebola comes on to replace Majewski for Forest as Billy Davies makes his first change.
59' Ledley comes perilously close to breaking the deadlock with a bundled shot from close range which Majewski clears off the line following Whittingham's cross from the right.
51' Bothroyd is put clean through by a powerful header from Gerrard but his first touch is poor and Wilson gets back to intervene superly.
46' The second half is underway with Forest kicking us off and neither manager has deemed it necessary to make any changes.
45+4' The half-time whistle goes at the Cardiff City Stadium and it is goalless, despite numerous good chances for either side - expect goals in the second half!
45' Whittingham makes a rash tackle on Gunter which sends the defender sprawling - it was high and reckless and it prompts an almighty ruck between the two sets of players!
37' Wilson is promptly booked for his infringement and that was deserved with Bothroyd clean through.
32' Morgan takes a very poor dive in the Cardiff penalty area after a powerful run in which he began to lose control of the ball and simply went down!
30' Chopra is caught offside but he is not at all convinced by the decision, and it has to be said that it was incredibly tight - he would have been clean through.
26' Gavin Rae is the man to replace McPhail and the 31-year-old Scot slots straight into midfield.
24' McPhail sustains a knock after challenging with McKenna in midfield - it looked innocuous but he looks to be really struggling.
17' Camp produces two stunning saves to deny first Whittingham - who drilled a low shot to his left - then McPhail with the rebound! Great keeping.
16' What a chance for Anderson, who collects Garner's knock-down in the Cardiff area but drives his shot wide of Marshall's far post from close range!
13' Anderson shows great vision to pick out McGoldrick from a very tight angle but Majewski has his shot blocked inside the area by Hudson.
7' Paul Anderson goes down in the penalty area under a challenge from Adam Matthews but the referee is unimpressed and tells him to get back to his feet!
6' David McGoldrick streaks through on goal but a poor first touch takes him wide and his shot is skewed wide.

66′ Sorry, Chris! I thought 'Notts' was an accepted abbreviation for Nottingham, no offence intended.

Thanks for supporting my opinion, Cameron W.
The difficulty for linesmen, particularly if they are still running to keep in line with play, and, depending on which side of the pitch they are running ', is watching two things at once amongst a congestion of players.
That is: when the pass is made and the position of the receiving player at that moment.
Perhaps the football authorities could have a chat with athletics officials? There is a parallel with 'false starts' in sprinting, I think? Nowadays, super-fit strikers are so quick off the mark that using the offside trap and sticking up your arm, is an even more dangerous game for centre backs to play. Two knowledgeable opponents are playing the same game and the loser may well be the poor old lino!

Hey william vaughan you ignoramous. There is no such team as nott,s forest. ITS NOTT,M FOREST OR NOTTINGHAM FOREST. Thats to all you welsh idiots. Chris.Forestred. And cardiff shity were lucky.

Of course he was offside; no question.

Sorry to go on about this, but I am not convinced by the pundits on BBC who 'prove' that it was onside. I still think Cardiff's goal was offside. I am not saying this with any emotion for either team, a draw suited me fine.
Maybe there was something to be said for the many years when 'in line' was offside!
The critical thing is when the pass is made. Is it when the passer makes contact with the ball, when the ball moves forward from his foot or what?
Linesmen have a very difficult task ,as I well know from personal experience over the years!
This was a great match and good luck to both teams.

1-1 is okay result pitty cardiff couldnt get all
3 points im a cardiff scout in ireland and cant
wait to go back over again had a great weekend at the sheffield game

I'm a Blackpool fan so a draw suits me fine! However, Notts Forest were badly done by in this match. I'd like to think that, had I been running the line, my flag would have gone straight up in the 63rd. minute. It was offside. Yes it was tight, but it was offside. In line is onside, but in this instance the player was beyond the last defender, when the pass was made. I suppose it must have been too difficult for the 4th. official to judge or maybe he didn't want an ear bashing from the thousands of Cardiff fans behind him?

come on city ,no not cardiff norwich come on u yellows xx

Ha Ha Lawrence; 'where we belong'!
A deserved point for Forest here; well deserved!
