  • Live Commentary

    Time:90'
    • Derby County
    • Queens Park Rangers
    • 90+4 And that's it! In-form QPR march on as the boos of the home crowd ring in the ears of Nigel Clough.
    • 90+1 Five minutes of added time - referee, where did that come from? Nigel Clough looks despondent on the bench.
    • 90' Buzsaky fires it past Bywater. Game over. 4-2.
    • 88' After a pause and some deliberation between referee and assistant referee, Routledge is awarded a penalty that Buzsaky stands over.
    • 87' But they waste it and Nigel Clough looks far from pleased. Far from pleased.
    • 86' Derby win a free-kick and will be hoisting it forward.
    • 84' That was almost curtains there. Subs Vine and Agyemang combine, but Agyemang fires over from close range under some intense pressure from Stewart.
    • 83' Routledge wins a free-kick that runs down the clock.
    • 82' Great chance for Hulse - the breaking ball drops at his feet but the big front man skies it high and wide. Good chance.
    • 80' The official attendance is an impressive 31000.
    • 79' Cerny almost hands Derby a leveller. The former Tottenham man came and flapped at a testing cross before Gorkss bails him out and heads the ball away from underneath his own bar.
    • 77' Derby are now making a fist of this one - Davies, following a surge from Savage, slices wide.
    • 76' Another change from QPR. Stand out man Taarabt is replaced by Agyemang.
    • 74' Vine for Simpson.
    • 72' Taarabt breaks but his effort is palmed wide by Bywater.
    • 69' Derby almost conjure an equaliser from a corner but Hulse's header is ushered wide by Gorkss.
    • 67' Double substitution for Derby. Dickov and Hughes replaced by Pearson and Davies.
    • 65' This may sound a bit premature but there looks to be no way back for Derby in this one. Old legs tiring.
    • 63' Both substitutions appear injury related.
    • 62' A spate of substitutions interrupts the flow of the game. Fredrik Stoor is replaced by Jake Livermoore for the home side; while Leigertwood comes on for Ramage.
    • 59' Having played some very intricate stuff, QPR take the lead through some route one football. Jay Simpson takes down a long ball before holding off his man, maintaining his composure and slotting past Bywater. 3-2.
    • 57' Derby break but every time they appear to get some momentum an errant pass puts them under pressure. Savage the culprit this time.
    • 55' QPR make little of the free-kick, but the pressure mounts.
    • 53' Taarabt is hauled down by Connolly and the left back in duly carded for his indiscretion.
    • 51' A great through ball from Taarabt sees Routledge bearing down on the Derby goal, but Bywater stands up big to save.
    • 50' Its is all QPR now.
    • 47' Superb goal from QPR. Taarabt lofts a ball over Connolly for Routledge who squares for Mahon to tap in from six yards out. Great goal.
    • 47' QPR are right on the front foot
    • 46' We're back at Pride Park.
    • 45+1 And that's it: 2-1 at half time. QPR have bossed it but Derby's greater goal threat sees them into the interval with a lead.
    • 44' Taarabt wins a late corner for QPR.
    • 42' Jay Simpson almost levels it but his header is straight at Bywater.
    • 40' Great goal from Taarabt. He curls the free-kick around the wall and into the bottom corner to halve the deficit from about 25 yards out.
    • 39' It is Taarabt's turn to draw a free-kick.
    • 38' QPR drive forward.
    • 37' Retrospectively, that was a dubious decision. Dickov definitely 'drew' that one.
    • 36' Sensational strike from Savage. He gets the ball up and over the wall while whipping it away from Cerny in the QPR goal. In off the post, to boot.
    • 35' Robbie Savage is over it...
    • 34' In a rare foray ahead of the ball Dickov draws a free-kick.
    • 33' In an attempt to counter QPR's increasing dominance Derby have dropped Dickov deeper.
    • 32' QPR are really in control now, but have yet to trouble Bywater.
    • 31' Very meaty challenge from Teale and he is lucky not to be in the book there.
    • 30' Croft's driven cross is met by the burly head of Rob Hulse but under pressure from Stewart his header sails over.
    • 29' Routledge's now offside.
    • 28' Dickov latches onto a wonderful through ball from Hughes but is wrongly called back for offside.
    • 27' Buzsaky is down injured. Short hiatus.
    • 26' This game is incredibly open - I can see a goal glut.
    • 24' Great effort. With Bywater beaten Faurlin looks on as it brushes the side netting, prompting a few QPR fans to celebrate but they are soon back in their seats.
    • 21' Faurlin stands over the free-kick.
    • 20' Robbie Savage has lost none of his desire. A decision goes against him and he wildly throws his hands around claiming it was he who was infringed upon. Mad man.
    • 19' Croft breaks and then Taarabt counter breaks - nothing doing there.
    • 18' Rangers have played some very intricate stuff but Stephen Bywater in the Derby goal has yet to be tested.
    • 17' A great ball in from Gary Teale causes mayhem in the QPR box. Hulse headers goalwards but Cerny gets a a strong hand to it.
    • 15' QPR have regained some composure and move forward fluidly - Buzsaky goes down under a robust challenge but the ref waves play on. No advantage there.
    • 13' Derby are on top here, which is indicative of a wonderfully open Championship season.
    • 12' Savage is over another free-kick but his delivery is poor.
    • 10' It's a goal for veteran Dickov. Rangers' defence was asleep there and wily old foxes (tenuous Leicester link there) Savage and Dickov combine to devastating effect. The diminutive front man thrashed home from just inside the box.
    • 9' Quick free-kick from Savage and...
    • 7' Taarabt feeds Buzsaky but the winger drags his effort wide.
    • 6' QPR's Adel Taarabt is arguably one of the most talented players in the league, but has a habit of hanging onto the ball a little too long.
    • 4' No action of any real note yet, but Pride Park is packed to the rafters and a couple Robbie Savage crunchers rouse the home faithful to their feet.
    • 2' Despite having a side decimated by injuries Derby have started lively.
    • 1' Mark Haywood gets us underway.
    • - The players are in the tunnel and we are moments away from kick-off.
    • - We have referee Mark Haywood of West Yorkshire taking care of proceedings.
    • - QPR: Cerny, Ramage, Gorkss, Stewart, Borrowdale, Routledge, Faurlin, Mahon, Buzsaky, Taarabt, Simpson Subs: Heaton, Hall, Leigertwood, Vine, Agyemang, Alberti, Ainsworth
    • - The teams are out: Derby line up as follows: Derby: Bywater, Connolly, Stoor, Barker, Moxey, Croft, Savage, Hughes, Teale, Dickov, Hulse Subs: Deeney, Pearson, Buxton, Davies, Livermore, Hendrie, Mills
    • - Derby are in the midst of an injury crisis, so loan signing Bryan Hughes goes straight into the squad; while QPR are without their own on-loan signing - Ben Watson - as he saw red in Tuesday's demolition of Reading.
    • - Welcome to our minute by minute commentary as Derby County entertain an in form Queens Park Rangers side at Pride Park. QPR are on the cusp of a wave having scored eight in their last two games but Derby have been strong at home all season, so this could be a cracker.
  • Summary
