  1. i think it is about time the whole of the leicester city board of directors took a good hard look at the progress the club has made since the departure of martin oneil who left to go to celtic we all know he left for the total lack of ambition by others in a higher postion and could not understand the total lack of ambition . i have been a leicester city true fan since i stood on the terraces at filbert street since i was 5years old i am now 64 can you now tell me the clubs progress in all those years yes we have a good ground but we had a far better side in the sixties i can remember the day we were the first side to beat spurs on there own ground when they won the double thats when you could be proud we had players then that could play the game and it was not for the money it was because they were proud to wear the shirt and loved the club they played for just the same as the players we had under martin oniel and that is what vis lacking right now but we need to give nigel pearson all the money we can to buy top players and not to sell the best we have to raise money or if we do its back down to a lower devision yet again we have been the dog & the bone club now for many years but we have had top players we sold but never reinvested wisely enough and when we learn the saying no pain no gain and that means investing in good players then we will be a top club in the east midlands again like we were many years ago as i remember and all the clubs that are comeing up in the next few weeks we beat them all including newcastle we feard no one it was the other way round even when we played away i heard many other fans say christ we have to face leicester city next week i wish we could play like them / example no1 & no2 england goalkeepers banks & shilton /len chalmers full back /frank mc clintock /howard riley /colin appleton /tony knapp/ ken leek /hugh mc cilmoyle /arthur rowley /and we had many more as we all know in the later years, so why not now .john moo

  2. Yes , a good start. But let´s not get carried away. This league is tough. You have GOT to win points at home just to survive. Let´s see how we get on at the likes of Sheffield United, Newcastle, West Brom, Reading etc. before we start crowing.
