- 90' Into the final minute and Bunn's in no hurry to take a free-kick deep in United's half.
- 89' There's definitely a late winner here for the taking...
- 87' Deliciously teasing ball from Yeates which is headed out of the danger area by Morgan. Boro looking for a late winner now...
- 86' United probing forward now and a throw is won on the right wing. Walker hurls it in, but Boro get the ball away.

- 83' McMahon tries to go for glory from 30 yards but his shot flies well over.
- 80' Great ball whipped in from the right by Yeates, and Lita's inches from making contact with it! Moments later the striker tries to go through a gap that isn't there.

- 56' Rys Williams tees himself up for a shot from 25 yards or so but pulls it well wide. He was given too much time and space there by United's defenders.

39' Bunn is forced to come and punch a free-kick clear as Johnson curls a dangerous set-piece in from the right wing.- 37' Huth nods the ball behind as it is hooked back across the face of goal by France, with Howard lurking at the far post! United coming right back at Boro now.
- 33' McMahon's throw into United's area fails to bring a Boro chance. United race down the other end and Quinn forces a save from Coyne with a shot at a comfortable height.
- 30' Johnson looks for a swift one-two with Emnes as he again comes in off the left, but the forward doesn't co-operate.
- 28' Adam Johnson gets involved as he brings the ball in off the left flank. A tackle only pokes the ball into Digard's path, and the Frenchman has a shot blocked. Strong spell for Boro.
- 26' Yeates has really been calling the shots in the past few minutes. A tantalising delivery from the right wing is nodded behind for another Boro corner.
- 25' Wheater and Henderson are having a right old battle every time the ball comes up Boro's end.

- 17' Boro just starting to edge possession, and have looked more potent going forward in the last five minutes.
- 16' Aliadiere tries to make something happen for Boro but can't find McMahon on the overlap.
- 13' Quinn shoots just wide from the edge of the area for United, but he committed a foul in the build-up so it's a Boro free-kick out.
- 11' Some good work from Emnes sparks a Boro attack, but after some neat interplay it breaks down.
- 10' Boro managing to break up what United are putting together coming forward. The home side have been pinned back inside their half for most of the opening 10 minutes.
