  1. Well done Reading, a deserved win. Things went­ 'pear-shaped' for 'Pool, this time, so­ it's going to be about 'resilience' in the­ next two home matches. After all the Reading chances in­ the first half, I was ready to settle for a draw. Well­ done Gilks!
    But the relief that you sensed from both­ the Reading players and fans, at the final whistle,­ was obvious. Blackpool are a very good team. No doubt.­ When they stepped up a gear, Reading were always at­ full stretch. Really close Blackpool chances kept­ coming, right up to the 95th minute! Yes it was that­ close. Personally, I thought Blackpool passed the ball­ about better and they looked the more likely to win.­ But I would say that wouldn't I. Up the 'Pool!

  12. Words come and go. I think people call these things­ 'sound bites?' Well, we've had;­ consistency, momentum and an interesting one recently -­ talisman. I would like to offer another one today as­ Blackpool meet Reading : 'resilience' ie., If­ things go pear-shaped at the Madejski, just remember­ that you have 2 home fixtures next by which you can­ still bounce back.
    A win today at Reading would be­ preferred, however. Up the 'Pool!
