    Time:90'
    • Scunthorpe United
    • Sheffield United
    • 90'+4 There it is! All over at Glanford Park! And Scunny win it 3-1!
    • 90'+3 Forte plays the ball in to Woolford! Saved by Bunn!
    • 90' Four minutes of added time to be played.
    • 85' Off goes Hooper to a great ovation from the home crowd... Forte comes on to replace him.
    • 81' Reid fires a shot off on goal... but it ends up going out for a throw! Cue jeers from the home crowd. It's not their day today.
    • 75' A quarter of an hour remaining and it looks good for Scunny, who still lead 3-1.
    • 72' McCann! Ooh! It doesn't quite sit up for him, and Walker gets there to make a crucial challenge.
    • 71' Here comes another Blades change as Taylor comes on for Stewart.
    • 66' Hooper goes for a loose ball that he contends with Bunn... the pair clash and the Blades keeper comes out far worse off...
    • 62' United make a second change as Treacy also makes an entrance in place of Little.
    • 61' Kyle Reid comes on for United, with Kilgallon making way.
    • 58' GOAL! McCann again and Scunthorpe take a 3-1 lead! Wright hits the post and McCann does the rest, giving the keeper no chance at all! A real second half goal glut at Glanford Park!
    • 53' GOAL! Hayes restores Scunthorpe's lead with a stunning finish on the volley! A superb effort into the bottom corner and Scunny are back in the lead!
    • 51' GOAL! United equalise through Ched Evans! The former Manchester City striker fires the visitors back onto level terms after the free-kick was taken short!
    • 51' Yellow card for Mirfin for a bit of shirt tugging...
    • 49' Walker hurls a long throw into the box and United win a corner!
    • 46' McCann stabs a shot from the right hand side but he gets his angles all wrong and Bunn isn't troubled at all.
    • 46' Here we go! Hooper and McCann gets the second half underway at Glanford Park!
    • 45+2' HALF-TIME: Ref blows for the break and it's 1-0 to the Irons. A fairly even half and little between the two teams in terms of chances on goal, with just McCann's moment of brilliance the difference. Neither side able to get the upper hand though one gets the feeling that the superior quality of one or two Blades players may shine through in the second half.
    • 45' Two minutes of added time at Glanford Park as Murphy tries to find Hayes with long kick from his box.
    • 44' Hayes shows his power and balance and fires off a shot though his effort fails to trouble Bunn in Blades goal.
    • 41' Free kick for the Blades on halfway mark. Davies sends it into Irons penalty box but home side deal with the cross comfortably.
    • 37' McCann looks to release Hayes but the final balls for the Irons just not finding their targets.
    • 36' Davies supporting Little and they work a chance for Evans, whose diving header goes wide. Good effort but poorly directed. Nice football from the Blades.
    • 35' 10 minutes until the break and McCann's brilliant strike still the difference between the two sides.
    • 29' Two shots in as many minutes by the Irons' Hayes and Williams, but both sail over the bar.
    • 20' GOAL!! Scunthorpe have taken the lead after a superb strike from McCann. Great shot, all of 30 yards out giving Bunn no chance in the Blades goal. Couldn't have been any better. The Iron take 1-0 lead against run of play and what a goal.
    • 19' Nearly 20 minutes gone and it's still 0-0 though the Blades have enjoyed the majority of the play.
    • 12' Best chance of game as Scunthorpe nearly take the lead from a corner. Deflected away.
    • 10' Only one shot on goal in first 10 minutes as both sides struggle to keep possession of the ball early on.
    • 2' The Blades are sixth in the table and another victory today - they already have four wins and five draws from 11 matches - would keep them in touch with the Championship leaders.
    • 2' Important afternoon for Nigel Adkins's side who have won just three this campaign and need a victory to avoid dropping further towards the relegation zone.

  12. We got at least 5 million quid up front for Walker and Naughton and were getting 3 million quid a season from West Sham for the next 3 seasons. Wheres the signings? Evans is very average for £3m and the rest can only be considered bit players. If Blackwell cant get the best out of a poor bunch of players were screwed. At least Wednesday are worse than us.
