    • 19:50 Thanks for following our coverage of today's Championship action here on Eurosport-Yahoo!
    • 19:40 Those three points mean that Ipswich moe up to 17th, six points clear of the relegation zone, while Leicester remain 16th.
    • 90+3' There's the final whistle. Ipswich 3-0 Leicester. It looked at one stage like we wouldn't finish this match, and that it would have to be replayed, but the Tractor Boys have claimed a vitally important three points.
    • 90+1' A long throw works its way all thje way through to Zuiverloon at the front post, and it requires a big fist from Chris Kirkland to clear it from the Dutchman. He'll be wondering what on earth his defenders were up to allowign to ball to get that far.
    • 90' Fryatt now flashes a low shot just past the post with Fulop beaten. It looks like there will be no consolation goal for Leicester after all.
    • 89' Fine low save now from Kirkland to deny Leadbitter from the edge of the area. To be fair, the midfielder's shot did lack the necessary power.
    • 88' A decent ball over the Ipswich defence for Fryatt, but Fulop comes racing off his line to claim.
    • 87 Goal chances seem to have dried up now the match is coming to a close, though just as I type that Connor Wickham flashes a dangerous ball across the box that the unmarked Norris so nearly turns home!!
    • 85' The snow is falling as heavy as ever right now, though Ipswich know they're on their way to three very precious points.
    • 83' Leadbitter brings it forward and picks out Wickham unselfishly, he shifts the ball across the box, looking for an opening to get a shot in, but Leicester keep all angles covered, and block the youngter's effort.
    • 79' Cunningham with a potentiallyu dangerous late challenge there. He was lucky to escape a yellow card. I can't tell you who he tackled, as the snow was obscuring him.
    • 77' Leicester fire anothe high ball in towards Howard, but once again he can do nothing with it, and his header trickles behind for a goal kick. He has had a pretty miserable evening tonight. As have too many of his team-mates.
    • 74' Wickham muscles Vitor off the ball now and charges in on goal...but the referee now signals for a free-kick, and the Portuguese is very lucky there. That didn't look like a free-kick at all. Vitor, however, it down injured, and is holding his hamstring. He's not going to be able to continue, and trudges off down the tunnel.
    • 72' Great piece of skill from Connor Wickham on the left wing sees him skip clear of his man and race into the area, he looks for a low ball across goal, but once again Vitor is there with the interception.
    • 71' Lovely run by Livermore, though the through ball for Wickham doesn't reach its target.
    • 69' A long ball out of defence from Naughton is cushioned by Vassell into the path of Howard, who drags his shot well wide.
    • 67' Vassell plays a useful ball into Howard on the edge of the area, he loses balance slightly, and as a result his shot is a very tame one that Fulop picks up gratefully.
    • 66' Well, Leicester have looked the better side since they came out on 58 minutes, though it would still take a miraculous comeback for them to get anything out of this game.
    • 64' Matt Fryatt is on for Paul Gallacher for Leicester.
    • 62' The precocious young striker Connor Wickham is on for Rory Fallon for Ipswich.
    • 61' Gallacher swings in a free-kick to the heart of the Ipswich area...AND CURTIS DAVIES VOLLEYS HOME...but wait IT WON'T COUNT! The offside flag is up on the far side!
    • 60' The Leicester players look absolutely sick as dogs, Ipswich, understandably, are delighted.
    • 60' A HUGE CHEER FROM THE IPSWICH CROWD TELLS US THAT THIS ONE WILL GO ON!
    • 60' The players have indeed been brought off for ten minutes, though the snow is still falling heavily. Only time will tell what the referee says when they come back out, though you wouldn't want to be the man to tell Roy Keane the match is off at this stage, would you?
    • 60' The players are being walked off the pitch, and Ipswich boss Roy Keane is furious! It's not totally clear what has been decided, though it looks very much like they're going off for ten minutes to allow the ground staff to clear the lines and goal areas again.
    • 59' Referee Stuart Attwell walks towards the touchline, and is immediately surrounded by both managers...what's going to happen here?
    • 58' Excellent ball in from Scotland, and Davies gets just enough contact on his header to take it away from Fallon.
    • 56' Gallacher goes down with a loud yelp after being caught by Norris, though the referee waves for play to continue. Now it finally does go out of play Gallacher receives treatment from the physio, though should be okay to continue.
    • 52' A better chance now for Gallacher as he bursts past his man down the right flank, he gets a low shot away, but it lacks power and Marton Fulop deals with it comfortably.
    • 51' Gallacher rises high above Zuiverloon at the back post to meet a high cross from the right, but it's still too high for him despite the giant leap.
    • 50' Wow! That was an exceptionally cool header from Zuiverloon back to his 'keeper, who had come right off his line. Great gasps went up among the Ipswich fans there, anticipating an own-goal.
    • 48' Ipswich have a corner at the start of the second half. It's out by Davies, and the pressure on Leicester is relieved.
    • 46' Ipswich get the second-half underway.
    • H-T Well, the players are back out on the pitch and it looks like we're going to resume!
    • H-T The referee has extended half-time by five minuets in order to give the ground staff time to clear the most vital areas of the pitch. One would think that if he was going to call this one off, he'd need to do it fairly quickly, especially with Ipswich 3-0 up. Were it goalless, it would probably have been called off already.
    • H-T Sven-Goran Eriksson, on the other hand, will be desperate for this one to be called off. His side looked as if they'd rather be somewhere else during the first half.
    • H-T The ground staff are concentrating on the lines and the six-yard boxes, though the amount of snow lying on the rest of the pitch will be of real concern to Ipswich manager Roy Keane. The last thing he'll want is for this one to be replayed.
    • H-T And just as the final whistle goes, an army of ground staff armed with spaced, shovels and brushes flood onto the pitch, attempting to clear the lines at least.
    • 45+2' There's the half-time whistle. An excellent half from Ipswich. Just what embattled manager Roy Keane would have wanted from his side. They lead 3-0.
    • 45' Two minutes of stoppage time to be added.
    • 43' Great cross from Leadbitter, it falls for Fallon at the far post, his first-time volley is blocked. He still has time to shoot, but elects to wait for support, he lays the ball square, but that allows the Portuguese defender Vitor just enough time to get back and intercept! Ipswich could be four or five goals up by now.
    • 42' The bad news for Ipswich fans is that the snow is getting heavier. The blue lines are pretty much invisible from the TV cameras up high, so how on earth referee Steuart Attwell can see anything at all is beyond me.
    • 40' Scotland may have supplied the finish, but all the fine work came from O'Connor on the left wing. First he tricked Naughton with a beautiful piece of skill, then he was dispossessed by Yuki Abe, though the Japanese then surrendered possession back to O'Connor far too easily, he raced into the area and pulled it back for Scotland, who finished well from close range.
    • 39' GOAL!!! It's Jason Scotland with his second of the match!!!
    • 38' Sven is looking none too happy on the touchline, and who can blame him. His side are 2-0 down, they're being outfought, and the weather is absolutely foul. On the upside, he is Swedish, so should be used to snow.
    • 36' Cunningham swings in a corner for Ipswich, though it hits the first man and goes out for an other corner. Cunningham swings it in again, but this time blazes it well past everybody in the box and straight out for a goal-kick.
    • 35' Ipswich will now desperately be hoping this match is played through to the finish, but the lines are becoming increasingly difficult to see under all the snow, despite being painted blue.
    • 34' It's played into King from the left, he gets in ahead of his man, but it's a poor header, and Leicester are yet to hit the target.
    • 33' Norris with a lovely through ball for Colback, he shoots, it hits a Leicester hand and shouts go up for a penalty, but it certainly wasn't deliberate and the referee waves for play to continue.
    • 31' Ipswich are closing Leicester down very well, and working very hard when not in possession - reflecting the character of their manager. When you see them play like this, you wonder why their in the middle of such an awful run of form.
    • 30' Vassell outpaces Kennedy, he brings it onto his left foot, and shoots just past the post, following a deflection. Somehow, the referee failed to spot the deflection though, and Ipswich emerge with a goal kick.
    • 28' Leicester 'keeper Chris Kirkland is looking non too happy. There wasn't a lot he could do about either shot, though his team-mates were guilty of allowing Ipswich far too much time to shoot.
    • 27' GOAL!!! Jason Scotland doubles Ipswich's lead!!! Andy King lost the ball in mifeld, Rory Fallon laid it off for Scotland on the left flank, his shot went through Kyle Naughton's legs, and into the bottom right corner.
    • 25' O'Connor almost gets a reward for tireless pressing of the Leicester defence, but he finds himself isolated, and Leicester regain possession.
    • 24' The tempo has just dropped a little in the game now, and become a little disjointed following an exchange of high balls.
    • 22' Roy Keane has a blanket on his knees! I never thought I'd say that. That tells you just how cold it is here.
    • 20' Now Curtis Davies is booked for a challenge from behind on Fallon. The referee is attempting to stamp his authority on this game and eradicate any mistimed challenges by brandishing his cards. Time will tell if that is the correct policy.
    • 18' Leadbitter's attempted clearance only goes as far as Jason Scotland in the area, but the big striker fluffs his shot, and Leicester can clear.
    • 15' Having just said that, Vassell won his side a free-kick that almost saw his side pull level. It was swung in from the left, Vassell flicked it on towards the back post, and Fallon, grappling with his man, headed it onto his own post and away to safety!
    • 13' Leicester are struggling to get their foot on the ball at the moment. Darius Vassell has since pretty much nothing of it in attack.
    • 11' Colback picks out Fallon with an excellent inswinging cross from the right wing, Fallon steals in ahead of his man and gets in a glancing header that Kirkland deals with comfortably. Roy Keane will be delighted with what he's seen from his side in attack so far.
    • 9' It's an exceptionally slippery playing surface. The ball, when bouncing, is almost picking up speed, though when struck along the ground is being slowed slightly.
    • 8' And yet another change of balls! This time we've gone from yellow to orange - better still!
    • 7' Finally common sense has prevailed and the white ball has been swapped for a yellow one. the white one was barely visible.
    • 6' GOAL!!!! What a start for Ipswich!!! David Norris, the captain, fires it into the nottom corner. A hopeful free-kick from a central position was punted forward into the Leicester area, it eventually fell for Fallon, and he had the presence of mind to lay it back for Norris, who drilled it home past Kirkland.
    • 4' Rory Fallon is booked for an elbow in an aerial challenge on Davis. He'll be walking a disciplinary tightrope for the remaining 87 minutes now.
    • 3' There's not under-soil heating here at Portman Road, so only time will tell whether this match wil be played through to a finish here today.
    • 1' Ipswich get the first half underway.
    • 17:20 Well, it's a real blizzard here at Portman Road, and the groundstaff have worked wonders to prepare the pitch and clear the snow so that this match can go ahead. The snow continues to fall, and the referee is by far the most visible man on the pitch, resplendent in a luminious orange jersey.
    • 17:15 Sheffield United's win over Swansea earlier today saw Ipswich fall to 20th position in the Championship, just three points clear of the relegation zone. Meanwhile, Leicester lie 16th, though are just six points behind 6th-place Coventry in an exceptionally tight league.
    • 17:15 Today's man in the middle is Stuart Attwell from Warwickshire.
    • 17:10 Leicester team: Kirkland, Naughton, Davies, Miguel Vitor, Cunningham, Abe, Wellens, King, Dyer, Vassell, Gallagher. Subs: Weale, Morrison, Oakley, Howard, Fryatt, Moussa, Hobbs.
    • 17:00 Ipswich team: Fulop, Zuiverloon, Smith, Delaney, O'Connor, Colback, Norris, Leadbitter, Kennedy, Scotland, Fallon. Subs: Murphy, Peters, Edwards, Wickham, Livermore, Brown, O'Dea.
