  1. What a result and our first win at Watford since 1988; superb third hat trick of the season. Just when he looks to be flagging, he finds another gear. Lee deservedly made the teamand showed just what a class player he can be, shrugging off all attempts by Watford to intimidate him. Brilliant reflexes to recover possession and earn a penalty for Lambert's third. The big man shrugged off an ankle injury to put it away in his usual style; if England ever need a good penalty taker, he's the man. What a transfornation from the lazy Bristol Rovers frontman to prolific marksman. Three goals, three points and back on top with a plus 29 goal difference, after Hammers failed at home to Palace; I never saw that one coming! The downside was the injuries toLambert And Lallana; what do you expect when you play rugby and football on the same pitch. Southampton are back to their best; look out Allardyce, we won't be denied top spot for long. You may have premier league players, a parachute payment and more new signings than us, but we are the best team! COYR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Brilliant Southampton! The manager has got the Saints playing football you want to watch. The goals for says it all. I really do feel sorry for the few genuine Portsmouth fans. Where are the rest, now you are in a mess? Sorry Mr Harry who helped put Pompey in this situation, but Southampton is the home of football on the south coast.

  4. A true fan stays loyal in the good times and bad times - I've been a Saints fan since Mick Channon joined.
There are too many people who only support winning teams and discard them when they're not winning !
    How fickle is that !
