- 90+4' The referee blows the fulltime whistle to end a dramatic encounter. Wesy Ham will be happy with the point after their first half showing, but that's a 7th home game without a win.
- 90+3' Tomkins swings a boot at the ball but it's miles over the bar. Half hearted appeals for a corner, but not given.
90+2' Suddenly Birmingham are pouring forward, stung into action. But West Ham come back and there's more anarchy in Birmingham's box as Nolan with an air shot with Myhill down.- 90' Four minutes of stoppage time here, four minutes for West Ham to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive.
- 89' It was Burke who was penalised for handball, but it was very harsh. His hands were tucked into his body as the shot came in and it was hit at such pace.
88' Goal! West Ham 3-3 Birmingham - Vaz Te steps up and smashes it into the roof of the net as Myhill dives to his right.- 87' Another corner for the home side, it comes back out, Lansbury has a shot and the ref gives a penalty for handball!
- 86' Myhill is out well to punch away the corner. He claims the second cross and even the crowd sense now that time is running out.

- 78' Barcelona it ain't, but West Ham's shall we say direct style is still exciting to watch in a curious way. Another ball is pumped into the box and Vaz Te beats Myhill to the ball. It looks for a second like it's going in, but is cleared for a corner.
- 77' Collins with a super effort of his own as he hits the bouncing ball first time from 18 yards and hits the roof of the net.
- 76' There's chaos in the Birmingham area as players go down, but it's eventually cleared. West Ham pump it straight back in.
- 75' Cole on the half volley with his weaker foot and it's inches over the bar! What an effort from the striker.
- 74' Burke puts in a lovely cross and at the near post Zigic heads narrowly wide. He should have done better with that.
- 73' Reid faces up to Zigic - wouldn't really be backing Winston there against the man mountain that is Zigic.
- 72' Birmingham sub: Zigic is on for the injured N'Daw and he almost immediately picks up a booking.
- 70' Goal! West Ham 2-3 Birmingham - Freekick on the halfway line, pumped in and Cole wins the header. Nolan flicks the ball back over his head to Cole again and he takes one touch with his knee, then volleys expertly into the bottom corner with his left foot.
- 69' To cast iron penalties not given so far for West Ham. They've been unlucky in that respect.
68' West Ham are absolutely furious with the ref for failing to give a penalty there. And they've got a point. Nolan is booked for dissent.- 67' Cole with a brilliant chance to reduce the deficit! He brilliantly brings down the ball, Caldwell is all over him tugging at his shirt, he stays on his feet and when he goes to shoot Caldwell nicks the ball away.
- 66' That's a big blow for Birmingham. He is off the field, but Hughton hasn't yet lined up a replacement.
- 64' The freekick is pumped in but to no avail for the home side. N'Daw goes down holding his hamstring and this looks like the end of his afternoon.
- 63' Much better build up play from the home side. They work it up to the edge of the area and O'Neill clips a clever ball through to Nolan, but he's on the stretch and can't quite make contact.
- 61' Myhill slices out for a throw under pressure from Cole. It's all West Ham, but Birmingham are weathering the storm pretty well.

- 54' Davies leans into Vaz Te as he goes to challenge for the ball. Crowd appeal for a penalty, but you very rarely get those.
- 53' Another set piece for West Ham. It's a freekick and it's hit straight at goal. Confusion everywhere as players from both sides try to get to it, but it runs through to Myhill.
- 52' Tomkins goes for a Van Persie-esque volley from a tight angle. Myhill dives to palm it clear, but it's given for offside anyway.
- 51' Nolan with another good ball into the box and Lansbury leaps to get on the end of it. Deflected out for another corner...
- 50' West Ham sub: Slightly late, but at half time Nicky Maynard was replaced by Henri Lansbury.
- 48' Nolan does well to dig out a cross on the left. It's cleared only as far as O'Neill, nad his shot is blocked. Good start from West Ham to this second half.
- 47' A poor clearance from Caldwell falls to Vaz Te, but his shot is high and wide.

West Ham 1-3 Birmingham - Birmingham go straight up the other end and get a corner themselves. And they restore their two goal lead! Davies misses the header, but the ball comes out to Burke who smahes it back towards goal. Players from both sides go for it, but it goes straight in!
- 45+3' Goal! West Ham 1-2 Birmingham - The ball is scrambled clear for another corner. It's curled in, Tomkins heads back across goal and Vaz Te powerfully heads home.
- 45+2' Birmingham concede a cheap corner and this will provide West ham with one more chance in this half...
- 45' Four minutes of stoppage time - mainly for that nasty injury sustained by McCartney.
- 44' Maynard goes for a clipped effort int the top corner and it hits the bar. It's a brilliant strike. The ball runs back for Nolan who has a much easier chance, but his shot lacks any sort of power and Myhill scoops up.
- 43' The full backs aren't pushing up and so therefore the home side have got no width. Their central defenders by nature and that's showing here.
- 42' No atmosphere and no spark at the minute. Birmingham are content to run it down to half time and West Ham just don't have any penetration.
- 40' Birmingham are pretty content sitting deep here. They win it back though and look to break at pace when they do.
- 39' O'Neill's shot is hilariously poor as it flies way up into the Trevor Brooking stand. N'Daw is booked for an earlier challenge the ref played advantage for.
- 38' Maynard goes right down the other end and is fouled 25 yards from goal. Excellent shooting position this...
- 37' West Ham again give the ball away in a dangerous area, but King can't quiet find the room to pull the trigger.

- 29' Green didn't even move for the goal. He was probably unsighted and it was hit with unerring accuracy.

- 26' Good defending from Caldwell as he has Cole lurking behind him at the back post. He heads clear under pressure and Birmingham get it away.
- 25' West Ham are stroking it around defence until Faye plays up to O'Neill. He loses it though and Birmingham break. Noble isn't having any of it though and wins it back...
- 24' Fahey unleashes a shot from distance, charged down. Green has it now and he goes long towards Cole.
- 22' West Ham win the throw, McCartney plays it long to Cole, who fights to win the corner, but it's adjudged to have gone out - wrongly.
- 21' A woeful pass from Faye goes straight out for a throw. Who was that to?? Birmingham are offering nothing going forward though in the absence of Zigic.
- 20' Reid clips a nice ball out to O'Neill, but the move comes to nothing. Reid follows it up with an expertly timed challenge on King.
- 19' Vaz Te is causing Murphy all sorts of problems out on the right hand touchline as he turns the defender with ease.
- 17' Faye missplaces the forward pass. Nolan still has it but he gets crowded out. Brum break through King on the right touchline, though there's no one supporting him as he looks to put in the cross.
- 16' Cole handballs when trying to control the throw. Pretty amateurish that.
- 15' Davies attacks the corner so well, climbing miles above the defence, but his header is misstimed and it goes wide of the far post.
- 14' Chris Burke is put completely through! He could square for King, but he goes for goal and hits straight at Green. He really should have done better.
- 13' The Portuguese is at the centre of everything at the moment and his shot following the corner goes high over the bar.
- 12' Cole sprays one wide to Vaz Te who shows good strength to beat Murphy to the ball, but he over elaborates and can only win the corner.
- 11' Nolan loops in the corner, but easily cleared by Ramage. The ball comes back in and Myhill catches at the back post.
- 10' Birmingham punt long towards Burke, but there's too much on it and Green can claim with ease.
- 9' Murphy completely miss judges the clearance, but he's got cover. West Ham pour forward though and Vaz Te's low cross is cut out by the first man.
- 7' Vaz Te plays into Maynard, who can't quite fashion space for a shot. Birmingham have made a very poor start here.
- 6' Nolan whips a dangerous cross into the box, but it's half cleared by the Birmingham defence and West Ham pick the ball back up.
- 5' Nolan goes down in the penalty area as the freekick comes in. Players were offside, but not noticed and it wasn't really a foul anyway.
- 4' The ball's spent it's time almost exclusively in the air so far. What was it Clough once said? If God had intended for football to be played in the air he's have put grass in the sky.
