@comment #26, bates give warnock the money and he goes out and buys the players. But if he has nowt to spend then we end up with a collection of freebies and bargain buys. Course its Bates fault we are in this all too familiar predicament, poor football from average players and no hope of promotion. This squad has mid table written all over it even with Warnocks ability to get the best out of players. Big injection of cash is needed if we are going to rescue this season. MOT
Unbelievable!! 2 points from 9 against teams in the bottom quarter of the league. Birmingham would have come to ER hoping for a point, Charlton the same and here we are with 2 instead of 9. And we continue to blame Bates but largely this is Warnocks squad! Pathetic I reckon totally pathetic. Not even Chritsmas and I am resigned to mid table!!
Part agree with Busdriver, Disagree with Buster (sorry) We are only a championship team and thats all we will be until Clarke has gone, there is no way he can take us any further than Mid table. He needs to be on his toes NOW. It scares me to think that we have a couple of interested parties wanting to buy our club, but for what reason ? As a business venture ? Why is there nobody out there that cares about BIRMINGHAM CITY, why cant somebody buy our club just because of who we are, BIRMINGHAM CITY ? We are the 2nd City. Why cant somebody buy our club as a football club and not a Tax right off ? Pi55es me off big time. KRO SOTV NFS.............Ever.
lets face a best we are a mid table side and its not going to change until seriouis changes are made in the board room and on the pitch.no strikers and no class in midfield just an ordinary side.i do not want us to go up if we did we would be a laughing stock.
untill leeds utd, get a big target man , its another season in the championship, hopeless forwards no quality, now bechio cant score, crowds dwindling, no hope with this team?
Viv reason there are no comments perhaps leeds played absolute #$%$there for dont deserve any comment lol.
why are there no comments
Could see this result coming after the last couple of performances, we need more firepower and fast.
A good result and maybe we can build on this, I didn't expect any points from the last 3 games so maybe I had better stick with that philosophy and can't see any points from the next three. Ipswich and Bristol City at home are both potential banana skin games then a trip to Blackburn who will have a new manager by them if reports are true. I agree with with Buster gut that we have a squad that is one of the best in the division and we should be up there in the mix come the end of the season. However, we have a manager that doesn't appear to know his best team or tactics, I still think he would be better off dropping a division but not with the blues. I hope he proves me wrong, and the players do want to play for him... the jury is still out for me but I will never stop supporting my beloved football club.... KRO
Bates Out is the only answer
what a waste of money today.......we need this investment ......QUICKLY
and so the slide begins....
,........blues are at last getting belief ,...i thought this squad of players would win promotion and i still believe that.for me the teams at the top are not as strong as southampton and westham ....we have started this season much like we did last season.and we still come close to winning promotion last season...coming back from 3..0 ,..down to fnish 3..3 showed true metal ....and that metal was pure gold....when a team can do that they need not fear anybody ......this squad is as good as any in this division ..so believe .he who dares wins....kro .....buster ,...gut....
not good enough leeds.
The Saville fan club loses. Justice.
been a long time coming kro.
Unbelievable!
Still 0-0, no promotion with this team, three draws out of three against bottom teams, like watching paint dry, no plan A no plan B, 11 players running round aimlessly, pick any 11 lads out of the crowd at Elland Road and they would play with more heart than I have seen this Aft'.
Going by some of the comments I think someone has the League table upside down ?
hard game for the ALLWITES with so many crocks this week.
