    Time:90'
    • Sweden
    • Spain
    • 90+4' Sweden fail to deal with a long ball from Capdevila, Villa nicks it through the legs of Petter Hansson and finishes coolly past Isaksson. Amazing. Game over.
    • 90+3' GOAL!!! DAVID VILLA WINS IT FOR SPAIN!!! He slides it low past Isaksson in the third minute of injury time!
    • 90+1' Three minutes of added time to be played.
    • 89' TORRES!! Villa chests down to the Liverpool man and his low shot is held by Isaksson. That's the best chance Spain have had for some time.
    • 86' Sweden: Kim Kallstrom comes on for Henrik Larsson and his first job will be to defend a corner.
    • 85' Spain have a half-shout for handball against Stoor, then Fabregas has a long shot that cannons back off a team-mate. This is better from Spain.
    • 83' Villa chases a through ball but bundles Mikael Nilsson over as he does so and that is a clear free-kick. Needless to say, he does not agree.
    • 82' It's all Spain in the possession stakes, but all the sideways passes in the world will not necessarily gain them a goalscoring chance.
    • 80' Sweden play a free-kick into the box and Petter Hansson gets free!! He knocks the ball across the face of goal from wide on the left but nobody is there to supply the finishing touch!
    • 79' Birmingham's Sebastian Larsson is on for Johan Elmander. Not a bad player, but when your impact sub is from the English second tier you are probably some way short of world class.
    • 77' Sweden are so tough to break down. Neither side looks much like scoring. It could come down to a moment of magic from somewhere.
    • 74' It's all a little dull at the moment, which is a shame. Sweden look like they'll be happy with a draw (fair enough) while Spain seem to be lacking a bit of dynamism.
    • 71' Ramos beats two players and flicks to Fabregas... the ball is worked from right to left and Spain win a corner that results in a weak Senna header at goal.
    • 70' Extravagant flick by Torres that does not find Villa but at least wins his team a throw. Spain in the ascendancy but it is all a bit scrappy at the moment.
    • 67' Marcos Senna makes a rare brak forward and cracks a low shot!! Well-saved Isaksson, diving full stretcher to his left.
    • 64' The Spanish corner does not do enough to put the groggy Isaksson under pressure and the Swedish custodian ends up catching a weak, looping Torres header.
    • 63' What a chance for Silva!! He is played in by Villa but shoots weakly at Isaksson who spills it. The rebound ends up falling to Torres whose shot is blocked and the Swedish keeper stays down after getting a whack from Silva.
    • 61' Silva finds Torres close to the right byline. He nips inside Olof Mellberg but shoots well wide.
    • 59' Villa's technique and touch lets him down for a change when some sharper work would have earned him a shot from 12 yards out.
    • 58' Right, well, this could be fun. Spain's second and third changes - Cesc Fabregas and Santi Cazorla on for Xavi and Andres Iniesta.
    • 55' Late tackle by Svensson on David Silva. Another yellow card, no arguments.
    • 53' Cynical challenge by Marchena on Elmander. Yellow card, and a chance for Svensson to put one in the Spanish mixer.
    • 51' Daniel Andersson legs up Carlos Marchena, and is consequently described by David Pleat as "a ferret of a midfield player".
    • 49' That is so Spanish!! Villa supplies David Silva with a tremendous shooting chance but he inexplicably opts to pass it back to him! Ridiculous.
    • 48' Spain start the second half in much the same way as they did the first - with plenty of possession but little penetration.
    • 46' Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been playing with a slight injury and that has obviously flared up - he is replaced by Markus Rosenberg. Not good news if you're a Sweden fan.
    • 46' Secod half under way, and immediately Spain get the ball to Villa around 30 yards out. He tries to work the ball into a shooting position but is closed down.
    • 45+1' That's half-time, and the Spanish players immediately surround the referee! The replay shows Elmander did indeed barge him while "competing" for a header. Looked like a foul from here.
    • 45' Spain want a penalty! David Silva is barged to the ground but the referee doesn't want to know about it! They are furious.
    • 41' Fernando Torres thinks he should have a free-kick after some rough-house tactics from Petter Hansson. Maybe he should ask for a UEFA apology, a la Italy.
    • 39' Zlatan has taken to showboating off the back of that goal. The consensus inside the Eurosport office is that in an hour's time, when Sweden are 3-1 down, he will be completely absent. We'll see.
    • 37' There's only one thing Swedish fans love more than Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and that is chanting 'Seven Nation Army'. All together now: "Duuh, duh duh duh duh, DUUUUUHHH, DUUUUHHH!!"
    • 36' Sweden's metaphorical tails are very much up, and a long throw from the right causes more chaos in the Spanish box that almost results in another Ibrahimovic shooting chance.
    • 34' GOAL!!! ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC!! Sweden are level!! He meets a great diagnonal cross from Stoor but appears to have missed his shooting chance. Then, with his back to goal, he turns Ramos and steers in a low shot that Casillas gets a hand to but cannot keep out.
    • 32' Larsson contests a header in the Spain box and the ball appears to go out for a corner. But referee Vink says Larsson impeded the ubiquitous Ramos and that's a free-kick for Spain.
    • 31' Oh, come on. Spain are doing a Greece here. They are just passing it around at the back unchallenged. The Swedes need to get stuck in to them.
    • 29' Ramos sprints downfield and then dives headlong into Anders Svensson, who looks less than impressed and even suggests that referee Pieter Vink might like to show the little tinker a yellow card. The Dutchman declines.
    • 27' A decent spell for Sweden, this, although the finger-impaired Casillas has had nothing to do so far.
    • 25' Marchena fouls and Sweden will curl this into the box through Svensson. It is untidy defending and an attempted Ibrahimovic volley goes straight into the air off Ramos. Spain scramble it away.
    • 24' And here is the change - off comes the shaggy-haired Barcelona captain. It's not easy to see what is wrong with him - possibly a groin problem? Puyol off, Albiol on.
    • 23' Carles Puyol is carrying an injury and has signalled to the bench that he will have to come off. Valencia's Raul Albiol is warming up.
    • 22' Larsson beats the Spanish offside trap but falls over in the act of shooting and lofts the ball miles over the bar. Not exactly the kind of precise, cultured play you might expect from him.
    • 20' A bit of a quiet spell - even the Swedish fans are not making much noise. Time to admire the picturesque Alpine views...
    • 18' Being typically calm, phlegmatic types, Sweden won't panic after that well-worked Spanish opener. Don't expect them to come flying forwards.
    • 16' What a chance for Elmander!! Larsson finds him charging into the right side of the box with a deft little pass, but the Toulouse man fires into the side netting. Spain fell asleep at the back there.
    • 15' GOAL!!! Spain lead through Fernando Torres!! Xavi takes a short corner that is played back to Silva. He drills the ball across the face of goal and Torres diverts it past Isaksson and in off the post!
    • 14' If you click the 'Team Stats' and 'Player Stats' tabs you'll get lots of lovely information in raw numbers form. Including confirmation that Spain have had 75% possession.
    • 12' Xavi cops a stray stud to the upper shin and rolls around a bit. He soon gets up and decides he can't be bothered to go through the rigmarole of leaving the field for treatment.
    • 11' National Stereotype Alert!! Spain are enjoying plenty of possession but are struggling to break down a well-organised Swedish back line. Come on - it's true!
    • 9' Sergio Ramos marauds down the right, finds Torres and races into the opposition box. Consequently he is horribly out of position when Sweden break through Ljungberg. Luckily for Ramos, the West Ham man shoots weakly at Isaksson.
    • 8' David Silva gets into a vaguely promising position on the left side but gets crowded out before he can get a pass away.
    • 6' Two facts about Iker Casillas. 1) This is his 79th cap and, as a 27-year-old goalkeeper, he could conceivably win another 100; 2) He only has three 'fingers' on his left glove. He has had the index and ring fingers joined together. Apparently he played like that once when carrying an injury and liked it so much he stuck with it. A bit like Petr Cech's utterly pointless scrum cap.
    • 4' The strangely pasty Andres Iniesta cuts inside from his station on the right and cracks a left-foot shot from distance. It sails well over and wide, but Sweden will be concerned that nobody was there to pressure him.
    • 3' Torres has a little foray down the other end of the pitch. This just feels like it should be a good game. Fingers crossed.
    • 1' We're under way! Sweden kick off and immediately win a free-kick. It is played into the chest of Ibrahimovic, who might have had a clear shooting chance but for a dodgy first touch! Lively start.
    • - The anthems - the Spanish fans launch into the middle eight (?) too soon, while Luis Aragones looks very much like he is sleeping. The Swedish players don't seem too interested in their anthem, but the fans make up for their near-silence. 1-0 Sweden.
    • - This is a big game for the Spanish. They started the World Cup with a 4-0 win against Ukraine before going off the boil. Today will be a good test of their pretentions..
    • - Needless to say the yellow-clad Swedish fans are bossing proceedings in Innsbruck. They were blooming fantastic in Salzburg against Greece the other night. They could be even better given the prospect of an actual game of football.
    • - Spain are unchanged, which means Cesc Fabregas will have to make do with a place on the bench again. Sweden make two changes with Fredrik Stoor and Johan Elmander coming in on the right side for the injured Niclas Alexandersson and Christian Wilhelmsson.
    • - TEAMS: SWEDEN: 1-Andreas Isaksson; 5-Fredrik Stoor, 3-Olof Mellberg, 4-Petter Hansson, 2-Mikael Nilsson; 8-Anders Svensson, 19-Daniel Andersson, 9-Fredrik Ljungberg, 11-Johan Elmander; 10-Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 17-Henrik Larsson... SPAIN: 1-Iker Casillas; 15-Sergio Ramos, 5-Carles Puyol, 4-Carlos Marchena, 11-Joan Capdevila; 19-Marcos Senna; 6-Andres Iniesta, 8-Xavi, 21-David Silva; 7-David Villa, 9-Fernando Torres
