    • 87' Veloso beats Howard with a brilliant penalty which nestles in the bottom corner! 2-1...that's just made the away leg very interesting.
    • 85' Nightmare for Everton! Rodwell fires an awful backpass to Distin and the Toffees defender hauls down Liedson to give away a penalty and receive a straight red card!
    • 84' Yakubu has looked very sharp since coming on for the home side.
    • 83' EVERTON SUB: Saha is replaced by Diniyar Bilyaletdinov.
    • 82' Yakubu latches onto a neat ball on the right edge of the box and cuts a backheel to Saha but his shot is blocked.
