    • 10' Another free kick on the right for Braga and Viana stands over the ball. Instead of looking to find a team-mate he attempts to go for goal and sends his effort floating well off target.
    • 8' Manuel Fernandes, formerly of Everton and Portsmouth, links up well with German midfielder Fabian Ernst in midfield but they can't find a way through the Braga line.

Braga are firm favourites tonight given Besiktas have only taken one point in their past four league appearances, but the return fixture in Turkey on February 23.
