What game were you lot watching then. All the criticism. I saw a wonderful game - Mighty Spurs over ran the Italian pretenders. Controlled them completely and finished them off clinically............Oh! Wait.........I was watching the recording of the game of last week.....last night WE WERE TOTAL PANTS = PATHETIC = ABYSMAL + AWFUL + EMBARRASSING to watch. Livermore - jeezus, he is hopeless - not even League One material. Walker......not much better = deserted his post way too many times. Holtby = Don't even get me started on him - he is fat, slow and over rated. He did nothing at all. Adebayor, basically fell on his #$%$ and the ball hit is foot and went in. What on earth was that we wtinessed last night - it was a disgrace. Play like that again and it is goodbye Europa League.
Well, on the bright side, Dembele and Siggy were quite decent, Bale got some rest, we're through and we got Basel in the quarter finals. Not as bad as it looks.
was it just me ,or am i on my own here,i mean i am not a football manager but somebody at tottenham must realise william gallas,e.adebayor, scott parker, jake livermore, kyle walker; they are NOT good enough at this level of football. please somebody in the whl head office of affairs please realise this before its too late. too slow-not interested-cannot pass-too many errors[gave away 3 points at lpool], this just cannot go on... i am a proud thfc supporter and i am so happy we are through, but, this kind of performance is utterly shameful and embarrasing.scott parker gets the the ball and just runs around in circles chasing his tail because he has no stamina left in him. it had all the hallmarks of -lets exit this competition because lpool was gifted a win, and concentrate on the league..avb,you have done really well so far,but lets get rid of the many donkeys we have before its too late..please.C.O.Y.S.
I Hate Italian Football !!!
I am so glad that Spurs went through to the next round, but was completlety stunned by their shabby performance. Are we really 3rd in the Premiere League? You wouldn't have thought so given last nights awful performance. They need to buck up their ideas if they wish to progress to the Semi finals. Last nights performance shamed me as a Spurs supporter. I hated it.
This performance did not show the cynics that we are NOT a One man team. My words on their performance PEDESTRIAN, & spine less. Defoe & Adebayor seem to be on each others backs all the time. Walker this season has become a liability.I can think of at least FOUR ocasions ths season where we have conceeded a goal direct from his clumsy mistakes and given needless free kicks away. Gallas NO PACE , I would rather go to the dentist and have a tooth out then watch that again. After supporting this lot all my life I guess I should not be surprised though
What's wrong with this new away goal... Stupid thing... Before it's should go to penalty because it's still even 4-4... It's unfair when other only got 90 minutes to scores away goal n other got 120 minutes to get better away goals...
Gallas and Adebayor, please leave asap..Holtby and Walker to headless chickens..However Spurs had the best player from either side...Lennon (always dangerous and energetic)
Disproportionally, EPL teams have to play their second round from home fields. That said, UEFA should look into the rule on counting the goals to decide the winner. At the conclusion of the 90 min. both teams have scored 3:3. During the extra time each team scores one goal. Whether the goals the last goals are score away or home, must not be considered. Not to say Inter should have won. They dug themselves too far to overcome the 3 goals difference.
Never risk a yellow card or booking hoping to do better with your striker. Spurs may have become a one man team. Absence of Bale was felt over the Indian ocean. Adebayor escaped an open yellow even red card. Good luck going forward for SPURS and all the winners.
Well done Spurs - bit of graft but we got there! shame the perinnial failures of Manure, pooweepeers and Pope lovers Ars7654 failed this yearjust like chelski
Spurs was given an extra time, which was not given to inter, to score an away goal and go through. Away goal should NOT have counted after 90 mins and the match should have gone to penalty. UEFA should look to change this absurd rule which discourage teams from finishing top in the group stages in fear of playing the 2nd leg at home.
Despite their general improvement, Spurs are still shaky without Bale. Inter must have been delighted by his absence..
we should of played with lennon instead of livermore we have no width and didnt look like we wanted to score we are looking nervous at the back again
Spurs defence almost killed them - Walker plays too often and is visibly jaded (he is only young), gallas is too old outrun everytime by Inter, Defensive midfielders are woeful - livermore isnt premier league standard and parker just had a terrible game. Credit to Dembele, Sigurdsson and Holtby may not have been their best games but the ran their socks off
livermore his second #$%$ game in a row holtby not much better .Adebayor and defoe dont like to play with each other we were very lucky
I agree with Daf, Walker is a liability. His over-confidence and stupid mistakes are causing us dear at times! As for Gallas, well need I say more?... shocking!
what a game.. Go SPURS, they show that they can play for win.
lucky lucky yids!!!!!!!
I love watching Spurs but without Bale something else is missing Defoe seams to have lost his spark and so has Adeas a team they move the ball well but don't put the ball away at the right time.

A superb effort from him and Antonio Cassano. Inter at least restored pride in defeat. A completely different effort from that 3-0 shredding at Spurs a week ago.
