Tottenham had three goals disallowed by the referee in a 0-0 Europa League draw with Lazio at White Hart Lane. More
90+4' FULL TIME: Spurs pretty good, and had the ball in the net a couple of times, but couldn't get the result. They'll not be devastated not to take all three points, but they will be a little bit frustrated. Lazio were well-organised in the first half, cynical in the second, and got their point. Group J
90+3' Nasty challenges from Ederson and Cavanda in quick succession on Naughton - there should be a set piece left and time should remain for Spurs to take it. In fact, we're resuming with a long throw once Hernanes is replaced by Scaloni, and Mason comes on for Dembele.
90+2' Lazio change: Ederson replaces Andre Dias. The last few seconds being taken out of this match by Lazio, who've dug in for their point.
90+1' HALF A CHANCE! Naughton hangs up a huge cross from deep, which sits high in the air and is met by Townsend at the far post. He nods into the side netting, but he might have been better off heading back across goal.
84' Dear oh dear - terrible challenge from Mauri on Naughton as he builds up some speed. Yellow for what was a very calculated foul.
81' Lazio bring on Mauro Zarate (formerly of Birmingham) for Onazi. Shortly afterwards, Townsend comes on for Lennon. Lennon has been captain tonight, and the armband now passed to Defoe.
76' Substitution made: Dempsey off, Sigurdsson on.
75' Gareth Bale is down and in some serious pain. Play continues without the ball being put out of play, and the referee eventually stops it.
71' CAULKER SCORES! NO - A FOUL AWARDED! Caulker gets above Mauri and nods Bale's cross in at the far post - should be a glorious moment on his second Spurs appearance, but it's disallowed for the way he climbed over Mauri!
66' Yellow card for Gonzalez now - after a clumsy challenge just a couple of minutes ago, this one was too much for referee Hategan's taste.
64' CHANCE! SANDRO SHOULD SCORE! Bale's delivery has not been great this evening but that was a gem, pacy, whipped in to the far post. Sandro got himself in place, was not picked up by a Lazio player, and glanced his header wide. A firmer contact, and surely it would have been the opener.
62' Yellow for Andre Dias, who brings down Bale. It was a bodycheck - he was nowhere near Bale as he ran through the middle.
59' Bale offside - and again Spurs are close. The winger played a one-two with Dempsey, but raced free just too quick. If he'd just been able to hold his run half a second he would still have been through, and when Defoe tucked his pass into the net, as he did, the goal would have stood.
52' SPURS CLOSE! Straight up to the other end Lennon has Lazio in a panic. Half a shout for a penalty turned down, a stabbing effort from Dempsey to poke the ball home doesn't quite come off, and somehow the men in blue escape with conceding a corner.
51' CHANCE FOR LAZIO! Klose turns provider, laying it off to Mauri, and at just the wrong moment it slips under his foot. That takes the sting out of the chance, and despite Onazi's best efforts to bundle through, Lloris snuffs it out and gets Spurs moving.
46' The second half begins!
- What did you make of that? Good start from Lloris? Are Lazio serious Serie A contenders? Has AVB's message started to get through to the Spurs team? Isn't it lovely September weather we're having? Let me know what you're thinking on Twitter @Mark_Eurosport Follow here
45' HALF-TIME: No added seconds whatsoever. Spurs have had the better of the play - Lazio have gone closest to scoring when Gonzalez hit the post. All to play for in the second half.
41' GONZALEZ HITS THE BAR! AND WHAT A SHOT IT WAS! The Uruguayan meets a clearing header from Vertonghen on the run and on the volley, and drills it from 25 yards onto the upright. Nothing Lloris could have done had it dipped underneath - it was a rocket.
28' First booking of the evening - Biava on the right struggling with Lennon's pace, and brings him clumsily to the ground before he can get into the penalty area.
22' DEMPSEY GOAL - NO! OFFSIDE! Bale switches to the right, drifts inside and picks out Dempsey at the far post who nods home, but the assistant's flag is up straight away.
19' LENNON CLOSE! Played through in a one-two by Defoe having exploited the space left by Lulic, but Marchetti aware in the Lazio goal. Lennon gets a half chance to make amends, but picks out Bale who nods over.
11' LAZIO CLOSE! First chance of the match, really, even if it didn't result in a shot. A wicked ball from the left from Gonzalez within a whisker of Klose - if he had made contact, it would surely have been the opener.
1' Away we go! Spurs, all in white, begin at White Hart Lane.

90′ are performance was top notch we are looking good and i hope we are on the way up we were robbed of the points but we won the game
@ Philip Davies : completely right about everything. those romanian referees have a place in Europa League only because the Romanian Football Federation ( through Mircea Sandu ) vote everything Platini proposes to be changed in football. so highly unlikely anyone will investigate anything about match fixing at this one. i don't think they would investigate any game at all in Europa League or Champions League. Platini should have left a long time ago
#$%$
lazio f@uck them\
Hard luck Spurs, it's about time someone else had some instead of us....
@60 John you can't even hold onto a 2-0 lead. You'll be in this competition when you get knocked out of the CL.
3 poor decisions from a Sunday league referee, COYS
I'm totally agree with Phillip (who lives in Romania) that referee was been paid .. I'm peruvian living in England I love Spurs but what happens tonight I've never seen 3 goals disallowed is too much.
I am not a Spurs supporter but I work in Romania -- it is a totally corrupt country with bribes paid everywhere including football from clubs to referees -- the referee must have received his bribe from lazio -- the italians are not adverse to this -- look at the punishment for Juve. Romanians should not be alloweed to referee in EUFA competitions
Spurs were robbed tonight.
Who said AVB for the sack?
SO DIRTY LAZIO!
Townsend flashes a #$%$ at goal, awkwardly in front of Marchetti - he grabs hold, the ball squeeze,,, its way beyond the line.
levy do us all a favour sell up and let us play football !!!!!
if harry was still here we would be winning , avb you stopped chelsea playing and winning now your doing the same at spurs ! are you watching levy , egg on face comes to mind
Lazio are such a dirty team and the referee has denied two perfectly good goals for Tottenham
Wow, Spurs have no possession. They look very scrappy and at a loss of what they want to do... Much like Chelsea under AVB. Harry is one of the greatest managers, all of his teams play with style and flair. Such a shame he was let go, and even sadder that he was not offered the England position.
What a dull game, making you fall asleep lol. Feeling someone score in last 10 minutes, or maybe not..
This time, the referee really is a #$%$
