    • 90+4 The final whistle goes and it is a barely-deserved win for England, 2-1 and they will HAVE to improve if they are to get out of this group.
    • 90+4 Really good late pressure from Finland but the final ball isn't there and England clear. Hetemaj comes forward from the back but he hammers it over.
    • 90+3 Hukki chases it down the right and cuts the ball back to Sadik but the ball went out, goal kick.
    • 90+2 Campbell turns in typical fashion on halfway and he could be clear but realises he has no support so just strolls it into the corner.
    • 90+1 Four minutes for England to survive as Hukki gets in behind Cranie and he could be in here but blocked by Hart and hacked away!
    • 90' Vasara plays Pukki in on the edge of the box and he shoots but straight at Hart.
    • 89' ENGLAND SUB: That's it for Richards, who comes off for James Tomkins.
    • 88' The corner is swung near post and Vasara flies in but side netting! Sadik is going mad at England and the ref, he thinks Richards is time wasting but the ref waves him away.
    • 87' Hakola again on the right, superb cross for Sadik but Richards gets across to head behind for a corner. Richards is down injured now...
    • 86' FINLAND SUB: Hakola on for Hetemaj and he almost wriggles clear with his first touch but Cranie gets behind him and the ball hits the Finn on its way out.
    • 85' ENGLAND SUB: Rodwell on for Agbonlahor as England look to close it out.
    • 83' England are being forced back by the Finns, who are using the extra men well without creating any chances.
    • 79' FINLAND SUB: Vasara on for hamalainen.
    • 76' Hetemaj finds Aho on the right and he wins a corner off Gibbs as Finland stretch England.
    • 75' Good run by Agbonlahor down the right, he has Campbell in support but the cross is poor and headed clear.
    • 74' Free-kick to Finland around 35 yards out, this would be ambitious... Pukki hammers it in but deflected off Cranie and trickles into Hart's arms.
    • 72' Sparv bundles Cranie over and England have a free-kick.
    • 70' Noble puts it out for a throw after a promising run by Hetemaj... Pukki is booked soon after for fouling Campbell.
    • 69' The 'burly' security guards struggle to catch the somewhat lither nude, but eventually he is apprehended and play resumes.
    • 67' STREAKER ALERT! One can only assume this is a drunk as there can be no other excuse - it's pretty warm out...
    • 66' Milner sees yellow for a clumsy tackle.
    • 65' FINLAND SUB: Teenage Sevilla B-team midfielder Teemu Pukki is on.
    • 63' Foul on Richards, England have a chance to slow things down. Milner is almost playing as a right back. He has the stamina and determination, so why not?
    • 62' Good spell of play by Finland but Sparv's centre is cleared by Cranie.
    • 60' Milner crosses in from the left centre but off the top of Campbell's head and wide.
    • 56' Finland are pressing for an equaliser but, after their horrorshow first half, England look much more comfortable as a back three.
    • 53' Milner to take this corner then... He swings it to the edge of the six-yard box AND RICHARDS FLIES IN WITH A BULLET HEADER INTO THE BOTTOM RIGHT FOR 2-1! England back in front despite being down to 10 men. What a leap and header from Richards!
    • 52' A delay before the free-kick, Milner will take... he curls it over the ball and it dips under the bar but palmed over by Jaakkola.
    • 51' Hamalainen trips Milner around 30 yards out, free-kick...
    • 49' They work the corner short and swung in with Hetemaj and Sadik flying in but just over them!
    • 48' High ball in for Sadik who gets in on Hart but Cranie flies back to head behind for a corner!
    • 46' Second half underway!!
    • 46' ENGLAND SUB: Theo Walcott was poor in the first half and has paid the price, Fraizer Campbell is on in his place.
    • 45+3 Half-time, England 1-1 Finland but England down to 10 men!
    • 45+2 Hetemaj gets the ball with his back to goal on the edge of the box, he turns past Richards and fires at goal but it flies just over!
    • 45+1 Free-kick to Finland on the edge of the D, taken short to Sparv but his shot is blocked.
    • 45' An attempted crossfield pass by Cattermole flies out for a throw.
    • 44' Agbonlahor on the right, back to Milner who digs out a left-foot cross that goes over Muamba's head and is cleared.
    • 43' This is a decent extended period of pressure by England, who are keeping the ball better and making the Finns work hard. Still, a man down and there are spaces at the back that Finland will be keen to exploit on the break.
    • 41' Walcott digs out a good cross from the right but cleared by Finland.
    • 40' A slightly better spell for England, who are going to have to hold on for some time and hope that Finland tire sufficiently that the extra man ceases to count.
    • 38' More pressure from Finland as Hetemaj does well again but his cross for Sadik is cleared just in time.
    • 36' Agbonlahor booked for leading with the arm on Turunen.
    • 35' Milner to Agbonlahor on the right, good strength but the ball across goal is cleared.
    • 33' Former Southampton trainee Tim Sparv will take this, in front of his home crowd as he's a Halmstad player... and he rolls it into the bottom left for 1-1, Hart going the other way.
    • 32' Sparv is going to take this penalty once both sides get themselves together.... Mancienne is off the pitch now...
    • 31' Long ball over the top sends Sadik in after Mancienne lets it bounce again, Sadik is in and Mancienne hauls him down, penalty and red card! Shocking defending from Mancienne, and England have been awful so far to be honest.
    • 29' Free-kick to England, Milner on the right swings it in but Mancienne heads well over.
    • 28' England are labouring again. This is likely to be a grind from Stuart Pearce's men.
    • 26' Good little fight between Sadik and Richards but the Man City defender comes away with it and England clear, temporarily.
    • 25' Good delivery and Hetemaj flies in but off the top of his head and wide! Finland are very dangerous with the ball in the air.
    • 24' Hetamaj taken out by Muamba, free-kick Finland in the middle 35 yards out...
    • 21' High ball towards Agbonlahor and he's clean through but good keeping by Jaakkola to rush out and claim at his feet.
    • 20' Long one aimed for Sadik but Gibbs in behind to head clear.
    • 18' Milner to take, he swings the cross in for Richards but his header is weak and wide.
    • 17' Portin heads behind for a corner after Milner got in down the right.
    • 16' Sparv plays it long doown the left as Cranie follows Sadik into the corner, the Arminia Bielefeld striker running into the advertising hoardings.
    • 14' The ball is played down the left for Agbonlahor to chase, England with a rare attack here, he gets in behind the defender Portin to slide it across AND CATTERMOLE WITH A LATE RUN TO POKE IT PAST JAAKKOLA FOR 1-0! England lead against the run of play. Poor defending by Portin to led Agbonlahor round him.
    • 11' England have really not started well at all, on the rack against a Finnish side mostly made up of locally-based players and reserves from smaller European clubs.
    • 9' Another long ball is totally mis-defended by England and Sadik is in again but Gibbs trips him surely and that must be a penalty! No! Play on! That looked a stonewall spot-kick, but the replay shows that Sadik tripped himself up. Lucky escape for England.
    • 7' Finland win another corner from that throw but England manage to clear. They are big, direct and aggressive and England are not dealing with it!
    • 6' A ball through the middle causes panic for England as Mancienne waits for Hart to claim, Parikka could be in but Mancienne gets across to hoof it out for a throw.
    • 4' Mancienne heads the first corner behind for a second, Hamalainen to take this one... high aimed at Sadik again but up in the air. Hetemaj is surely brought down by Agbonlahor but nothing given.
    • 3' Played long down the left to big striker Sadik, who controls and drills it low but off Richards for a corner to Finland.
    • 2' Lee "filth" Cattermole goes right into the back of Hetemaj, free-kick early on.
    • 1' Match underway!!
    • - ENGLAND TEAM NEWS: Walcott starts as expected, alongside Gabriel Agbonlahor. This is a very, very strong England team, rivalled probably only by Italy in terms of strength and depth.
    • - England face Finland in their opening match of the European U21 Championships in Sweden, this match taking place in Halmstad.
