120' That's it, full-time at Ewood Park and Blackburn have clinched it at the death through substitute Benni McCarthy! 2-1 it has finished after extra-time, thanks for joining us!
118' GOAL!!! Late heartbreak for Sunderland as Villanueva provides yet another cross, and substitute Benni McCarthy nods home from five yards! That must surely be the winner!
115' Carlos Villanueva squanders a great chance for Rovers after Simpson found the winger in space just 12 yards out.
107' The second half of extra-time has begun and the pace of the game has deteriorated markedly since the 90 minutes were brought to an end.
106' The first half of extra time is brought to an end, and a swift switch around will begin the second.
91' The first half of extra-time is underway and the five sets of fresh legs will be valuable, with Ricky Sbragia with one change remaining.
90' Referee Phil Dowd signals full-time and we are going into extra-time at Ewood Park, which neither manager will be entirely happy with.
81' Zurab Khizanishvili squanders his third good opportunity of the evening, heading over in space, having earlier struck the post - it's not his night!
78' Dwight Yorke is introduced to a chorus of boos as the veteran slots into his holding midfield role, with Steed Malbranque making way.
74' A superb curling free-kick from Carlos Villanueva brings a stretching tip over the bar by Craig Gordon - good effort! Meanwhile, Benni McCarthy replaces Roque Santa Cruz.
71' Sunderland's Grant Leadbitter and Blackburn's Keith Treacy receive yellow cards from Phil Dowd.
65' David Dunn is withdrawn, perhaps with a view to the weekend, and Tugay is introduced, to the delight of the home fans.
59' The inevitable change is met with a chorus of boos from the home fans, as Michael Kay is replaced by Phil Bardsley.
51' A good chance for Rovers goes begging, and again Roque Santa Cruz is the culprit. Villanueva lofts a 30 yard free-kick into the penalty area, and Santa Cruz's header is tipped over the bar by Craig Gordon - he should have scored there!
46' The second half is underway at Ewood Park, and Jason Roberts has a very early chance to give his side the lead, but he skies his shot over the bar from the edge of the penalty area.
45+1' That's half-time at Ewood Park and Sunderland will settle for the 1-1 scoreline after Rovers have looked the better side.
37' GOAL!!! Blackburn deservedly cancel their arrears, but through a most unlikely source - Aaron Mokoena! The combative midfielder is hardly known for his attacking prowess, but the South African has found the top corner of Gordon's goal from all of 25 yards!
36' An unbelievable miss by Roque Santa Cruz after the impressive Carlos Villanueva drifts in another good cross and the Paraguay striker somehow heads wide!
31' Sunderland right-back Michael Kay is booked for hauling down the Chilean forward, Carlos Villanueva, who has looked very bright for the hosts so far.
26' A great chance falls to Jason Roberts who brings a fine stop out of Craig Gordan, who crucially parries away from the onrushing Santa Cruz. Carlos Villanueva delivered a superb cross to pick out Roberts.
24' Carlos Edwards demonstrates his searing pace down the Sunderland right, while Treacy brings a smart stop from Craig Gordan diving to his right, after a testing 25-yard strike. Danny Simpson is booked for a reckless foul on Malbranque.
20' Roque Santa Cruz hobbles around ominously for Rovers, but he looks happy to continue. Cruz's team-mate David Dunn is at the centre of everything for the home side, who are unlucky to find themselves behind in this game.
7' GOAL!!! David Healy grabs his opportunity to start in this game with an early strike which gives the visitors the lead, against the run of play. Daryl Murphy's shot was deflected into Healy's path, and he made no mistake finishing past Robinson.
1' We're underway at Ewood Park Aaron Mokoena immediately gives Andy Reid a welcome to the game which he won't forget quickly - a crunching tackle on the injury-prone midfielder.
- Welcome to this FA Cup fourth-round replay between Blackburn and Sunderland at Ewood Park. Both sides have Premier League survival at the top of their priority list for the season, but this will provide some nice respite.

Just Finished listening to the game on radio and checked your write up. does the yellow star represent an efford on goal by Blackburn, Maybe next time you can have a red star when Sunderland (Or Newcatle or Middlesboro) have a go at goal. There were plenty, but you dont seem to metioned them, other that the goal. Maybe Iam just paronoid about north east teams not getting a fair shake..

Rovers just signed their own Prem. goodbye! S'land should have it easir now & concentrate on Prem. safety
