21.53 FULL TIME. Bolton take their place in the fourth round, where they will face Swansea, thanks to goals from Kevin Davies and Martin Petrov. A fine effort in the second half from Macclesfield Town though.- 21.51 More boos from the home side as Bolton show no inclination to attack. Injury time now.
- 21.49 Murmurs of discontent from a home support that has witnessed a pretty awful second-half performance from Bolton. All credit to Macclesfield though.
21.45 Macc Town with another chance! Jonathan Bateson fires in a cross and Colin Daniel gets his head to the ball, only to see his header narrowly sneak wide. The League Two side don't deserve to lose this, but they will.- 21.41 Another chance for Macc Town as a shot from range is deflected over the bar. Impressive stuff from the League Two side in the second half.
- 21.40 Bolton are wobbling badly at the end of this game and Kevin Davies risks giving away a penalty when climbing over his man in the box. They will still go through, but not in completely convincing fashion.

Emphatic.- 20.21 Bolton break quickly after a Macclesfield free-kick and Tuncay Sanli slips in Martin Petrov, but he dallies too long, allowing Bateson to come in and clear.
- 20.18 Meanwhile, at Bolton it has been a dreadful game. At least the home fans did get to enjoy an early goal from Kevin Davies though.
