  16. Another unnecessary match that should not have had to­ been played. Saints should have held tight at the end­ last week. I would not be surprised to see the Lions­ take this as the Saints will be all guns blazing for­ Birmingham and will want to follow that up with a solid­ effort against Barnsley. Surely Adkins is now­ thinking about the FA Cup being more of an irritant­ than a help....??? Up the Red and White!!!
