    • 90' Whistle at Griffin Park and Brentford have earned a West London derby in round four with Chelsea after dominating Southend but only just grabbing the win 2-1.
    • 76' GOAL BRENTFORD! That didn't last long. Brentford back ahead as the prolific Donaldson makes space for himself, enters the box and watches a shot nick off Prosser and beyond a helpless Smith. The keeper has had such a good game, too. 2-1!
    • 70' GOAL SOUTHEND! Corr heads home a deep cross completely against the run of play and the missed penalty could come back to haunt the Bees! 1-1!
    • 60' PENALTY BRENTFORD! They've been all over Southend and Phillips brough down Donaldson for the spot kick and a chance at 2-0.... no! Forrester's kick is saved by ex-Bee Paul Smith and what a save that was! The Southend stopper is having an incredible game against his old crew and is the sole reason the score is not much greater. Brentford still 1 up.
    • 26' GOAL BRENTFORD! The hosts have turned control around after a slow start as Paul Hayes makes a simple tap-in from a great cross by Hodson. Chelsea await the winners here, remember. 1-0!
    • 20' Brentford now getting back into the contest against Southend, with in-form Clayton Donaldson creating a few chances but nothing to trouble the visitors yet.
    • 2' Early chance for Southend at Griffin Park, where Anthony Straker's effort is saved by Simon Moore.
    • - BRENTFORD: Moore, Hodson, Craig, Dean, Bidwell, Diagouraga, Douglas, Forshaw, Donaldson, Hayes, Forrester. Subs: Gounet, Barron, Saunders, Trotta, Logan, Reeves, Pierre. /// SOUTHEND: Paul Smith, Clohessy, Cresswell, Phillips, Barker, Hurst, Timlin, Prosser, Straker, Corr, Tomlin. Subs: Bentley, Harris, Martin, Leonard, Benyon, Woodyard.
