    • - Thanks for joining us today... plenty more pre-season action to come this evening, including Spurs v Barcelona, and over the weekend! Stay make sure you stay here for all of it!
    • 90'+5 There goes the final whistle! All over in Seoul and United win it 3-2!
    • 90' Scholes! Oooh! He hammers a shot against the bar after having been played in by Park! That would have been quite some goal!
    • 85' Nani puts in a dangerous-looking ball but there's no one in the middle to get on the end of it and the Korean side hack behind for a United corner!
    • 83' Nani steps up... but it's well over the bar, disappointingly.
    • 82' Park gets yet more cheers as he wins a free-kick, 25 yards out... where's Ronaldo when you need him? No matter, Scholes is lurking over the ball... as is Nani.
    • 76' Berbatov takes down a long ball forward beautifully, only for his second touch to let him down, just as he thought he was in on goal!
    • 72' And finally now Park is introduced! The crowd goes mad! Fabio is also on for United as Rooney and Carrick take a break.
    • 71' OWEN! Oooh! So close to another! But his stabbed effort goes wide from Gibson's near post cross!
    • 70' Kuszczak is forced into action again as Ki Sung-Yong fires a free-kick on target! But it's easy for the Pole...
    • 69' Seoul make another three changes... but still the home crowd are kept waiting for Park Ji-sung...
    • 68' Here come United again, in search of a fourth! Carrick feeds Gibson, but the Irishman snatches at his shot somewhat and the the ball is dragged wide of the mark!
    • 66' Three United strikers on the scoresheet now and that will please United boss Alex Ferguson no end.
    • 65' GOAL! BERBATOV PUTS UNITED INTO THE LEAD FOR THE FIRST TIME! Great work from Gibson on the right leads to the Irishman putting in a cross which Berbs heads just inside the near post! 3-2 now!
    • 63' Park now gets off the bench and begins his warm-up... cue bedlam in the stands...
    • 62' Listen to that cheer as Owen hits the field! They love him in Korea!
    • 61' Giggs, Rooney, Macheda and Anderson all depart for United as Scholes, Nani, Owen and Berbatov come on...
    • 59' Seoul make a couple more changes, with Damianovic coming off... not hat-trick for the Montenegrin today.
    • 58' GOAL! MACHEDA LEVELS THINGS UP! It's a great finish by the Italian as he latches onto Rooney's long ball forward, before rounding the advancing keeper and firing home!
    • 53' Owen, Berbatov and Favio are all warming up, and all get a rapturous reception from the home fans as they are shown on the big screen.
    • 50' Rooney again threatening... but again Adilson proves his class at the back and mops up the danger.
    • 49' Rooney receives the ball in an offside position... he miles off but that won't stop him from firing a shot off at goal!
    • 48' Van der Sar gets his first touch of the ball, a competent catch from a high delivery into the United box.
    • 47' Good start to the second half from United! Rooney is lurking with intent as the visitors win a corner early on... but the delivery is poor and Kim is able to take without any problems.
    • 46' Edwin van der Sar and Darron Gibson are on for United, while the South Koreans have also made a few changes.
    • 46' Back underway in Seoul!
    • 45'+2 And there goes the half-time whistle to bring to an end an entertaining first half of football!
    • 45' GOAL! Another for Seoul and another for Damjanovic! There's more than a hint of offside as the Montenegrin is put through on goal... but he keeps his cool and clips a very good finish over Kuszczak! 2-1!
    • 43' United head straight down to the other end, where Giggs sees a measured curler well-saved by Kim Ho-Jun!
    • 42' Damjanovic again causing problems for the United defence, this time the Montenegrin bringing down a long ball forward before Brown eventually blocks his shot!
    • 40' Kim Seung-Yong goes over on his ankel in a challenge with Evra, and it doesn't look like the Seoul man will be able to continue.
    • 37' The camera won't stop panning onto Park... and the crowd absolutely love it, even if the player himself doesn't seem to be enjoying the attention! Ben Foster certainly is though, who persists in nudging his team-mate every time he appears on camera!
    • 34' Cracking run by Lee Seung-Ryul... he beats Evra all ends up before letting fly! Kuszczak is again called into action!
    • 32' GOAL! ROONEY LEVELS THINGS UP FOR UNITED! It's a bread and butter header (with a little help from a shoulder) in the end after O'Shea's cross finds him unmarked in between two Seoul defenders!
    • 28' Macheda forces Kim into action for the first time today with a smart snap shot after he had been played in by Giggs!
    • 23' GOAL! SEOUL TAKE THE LEAD! And it's danger man Dejan Damjanovic who gets in between O'Shea and Brown to slot home Kim Seung-Yong's perfectly-delivered cross!
    • 19' Lovely bit of Ronaldo-style footwork from Lee Seung-Ryul on the Seoul left, but there's no one in the middle to get on the end of his cross!
    • 17' Another effort on target from the hosts! This time it's Damjanovic who lets fly, forcing Kuszczak into another save! And again, he does well to keep hold of the ball, low down to his left!
    • 16' This is a better spell from United now... they're playing the ball around nicely on the edge of the Seoul box but still to no avail.
    • 13' The in-house camera pans onto Park Ji-sung and a roar goes up inside the stadium as his rather sheepish face appears on the giant screen!
    • 12' Rooney now blasts over the bar... way over the bar.
    • 11' Lovely turn from Rooney as United threaten to break... but his final ball is poor and Seoul come away with the ball again.
    • 10' Oooh! Great strike from Ko Myong-Jin from the edge of the box, but Kuszczak does well to smother the ball and hang on to it!
    • 9' Oooh! Just over the bar! It's actually O'Shea who diverts it over his own bar!
    • 8' Seoul break with O'Shea still up front... and they win a corner!
    • 7' O'Shea makes a great run forward from right-back... his ball into the box finds Fletcher, whose first touch lets him down.
    • 6' Giggs tries to take on the entire Seoul team on his own! He gets a lucky break as he bursts into the box... but the ball squirts wide after a decent challenge from the hosts' full-back!
    • 5' Damjanovic with some nice work for the hosts now as he skips past a few United challenges...
    • 4' Giggs releases Maceheda on the left... the young Italian centres back towards Giggs! But he misses his kick on the volley entirely and the chance goes begging!
    • 3' Rooney now miscontrols in front of goal, the England striker standing on the ball somewhat and the move breaks down.
    • 2' Rooney gets his first touch and the crowd go wild! They really love their Premier League football in the Far East!
    • 1' Kick-off was greeted by a huge firework display and the smoke is taking its time disipating... that always makes for a good atmosphere.
    • 1' Here we go! Finally, we're underway in Seoul!
    • - United are in all white tonight, with Seoul in their traditional red and black stripes.
    • - Still awaiting kick-off... there's so many hands to shake and photos to take, the start of the game is being delayed.
    • - The teams are in the tunnel as the anticipation levels rise! A great deal of the 60,000 fans appear to be United fans!
    • - It's a packed house, as expected, in the World Cup Stadium in Seoul today, with most fans barely able to control their excitement at seeing the Premier League champions. Cracking atmosphere.
    • - How United line-up: Kuszczak, O'Shea, Brown, Ferdinand, Evra, Fletcher, Carrick, Anderson, Giggs, Rooney, Macheda
    • - Tomasz Kuszczak gets the nod in goal, while Wes Brown partners Rio Ferdinand in the centre of defence. John O'Shea plays right-back in the absence of the injured Gary Neville.
    • - Wayne Rooney starts for United, but he will have to wait a little longer to re-new his England partnership with Michael Owen, as Federico Macheda is preferred up front.
    • - Manchester United continue their pre-season tour of the Far East with a friendly match against FC Seoul in South Korea.

Totally agree with post 184.. everyone needs to grow up and show some respect for other teams. It's great to support a club but what's the sense in some of these comments? None. Take a look in the mirror children.

  19. Istoree dis an istoree dat, change the blinkin record la', I could regail you about United's haul of Premier League titles which Liverpool have found elusive since it's conception; but it's history and irrelevant. What matters though is that Man United are the current champions, and have been for three years on the bounce, Carling Cup holders, World Club Cup holders but whatever, that was just a bonus souvenir. My point is, although improved (a little) last season, Liverpool haven't got enough, and still have a way to go before they can be champions of anything (apart from local bragging rights) any time soon. Fatty needs to buck his ideas up and concentrate on galvanising the team and stop pouting at the media about the way other clubs work, the future of your midfield is in dissarray apart from Rat Boy getting off scot free, and your attack bar El Nino and afforementioned captain rat are mediocre. United are showing promise even though Tevez and Ronaldo have pegged it, and a total of £20million or so out of £100million or so has been spent. Liverpool spent roughly the same amount on a defender recently didn't they?

  20. I grew up in a football household. My father was a professional footballer-he was very good. He played they when were " needing them not feeding them".
He would turn in his grave If he saw the drivel on this page. What about the game of football?
I was born in the town where the game started-Nottingham and never thought I would read such " unsporting comments"
