  1. As a loyal Pompey fan my optimism for this season is­­ fast running out. The club is being incredibly­­ mis-managed at the moment, I honestly have no idea­ what­ they are doing. We have sold all of our best­ players­ and are signing players with no proven track­ record­ because no player in their right mind will want­ to come­ to a club with a future that looks as bleak as­ ours. ­ Signing Viduka before we've tested his­ fitness is­ ludicrous and just highlights the desperate­ situation­ we are in at the moment - we have a very­ weak first­ team, ageing, small and lacking in strength­ and depth,­ autumn injuries will seal our fate i fear,­ we're­ lacking strength in every area and we are­ lacking cover­ in every area. Behind the scenes it­ appears even worse­ - Storrie is creaming off a huge­ salary for­ 'running' the club - if he was with­ any other­ company he would have been sacked a long­ time ago - but­ the truth is we need him in that role­ as we've gone­ so far down this route no-one else­ would want the job. ­ The new Chairman with his­ promised fortune has yet to­ deliver a single thing,­ he'd better spend an awful­ lot of money in January­ because this farcical take over­ has damaged us and I­ am desperately hoping we can­ salvage something out of­ this season. Who knows, maybe­ Kanu, Nugent, Viduka,­ Mullins, Primus and Niemi will do­ OK playing against­ the rest of the premiership this­ season...but as I­ said before, my optimism is fading­ fast.

  10. lots of sad plastic fans on here pompey our going to do­ well ,, pompey forever ,, if u cant say a good thing­ go support saints ,,u our a fan or your not ,, lose win­ draw or get relegated i am a fan ,, for life ,,,,but we­ will end up in the top half ,,not a problem
