    • - Who said this was a friendly!? The Kaizer Chiefs players are so happy and emotional that they have managed to win this pre-season tournament and they deserved it!
    • 94 The answer is yes! After an extremely impressive performance the South African side hold on to win the tournament!
    • 93 With 1 minute remaining can the Kaizer Chiefs hold on and win the Vodacom Challenge trophy!
    • 90 He opts to chip it slowly towards the back post towards Adebayor and for a moment there it looked like it would creep in but just missed the post and Adebayor.
    • 90 Manchester City have a free kick just on the edge of the box on the right hand side. It looks like Robinho is going to take it.....
    • 88 Bellamy, Robinho and Adebayor are trying their best to get City out of this but the Kaizer Chiefs are defending extremely well!
    • 85 Robinho with a free shot from just inside the area as Adebayor went to pass to Weiss who let the ball go through him but the Brazilian's shot crept just wide...
    • 84 As the match is drawing to a close both teams are going all out. Has all the makings of a great ending!
    • 82 Masango with a great chance to go one on one with Given but he failed to control Nengomasha's across field pass.
    • 81 Weiss is looking to make an early impression running at Jambo down the right then cutting inside to strike but it went wide of the post.
    • 79 Nengomasha comes extremely close as he drives past Wright-Phillips who is back defending and strikes the ball low and hard but it was straight at Given again.
    • 77 Wright-Phillips picks out Adebayor with a nice chip and the Togolese striker heads it towards the corner but Khune was just able to fully stretch and stop it from going in.
    • 75 Kaizer's best player by far Nkosinathi Nhleko is taken off for Jose Torrealba.
    • 74 Yet another substitution for City due to an injury with Onuoha being taken off as a precaution i assume for Weiss.
    • 72 Play is stopped as Onuoha and Nhleko clash heads leaving the young Englishman with a bloodied face...
    • 70 Nhleko is looking lively as he turns Zabaleta and heads straight at the City defence but he was stopped again. He's looking dangerous!
    • 68 Nengomasha strikes it from 25 yards out with power but it goes straight into the hands of Given.
    • 66 Barry with a free kick 30 yards out. He tries to find Adebayor with a chipped pass but Adebayor was standing in an offside position.
    • 64 Wright-Phillips picks out Bellamy with a delightful pass from 30 yards. The Welshman controls the ball superbly past Ntuka then tries to pass it to Barry on the edge of the box but it was poor and didn't even get past the first defender!
    • 61 Abia Nale with the free kick which dipped and just went wide of the post...almost!
    • 60 The Kaizer Chiefs have a free kick in a dangerous position as Onuoha fouls Nhleko...
    • 57 Robinho has come on as Hughes is looking to get an equaliser as quickly as possible. He replaces Petrov who i thought was City's most dangerous player!
    • 56 City are getting closer and closer! Petrov again down the left outpacing Jambo to cross it to Bellamy who was free again but the Kaizer Chiefs are defending heroically at the moment!
    • 54 Adebayor with a glorious opportunity!! It was two versus one as he tried to square it to Bellamy who was unmarked but Mmbooi just stopped it reaching him. Adebayor then picked up the ball and switched the ball on to his left but hit it miles over!
    • 52 City with a dangerous attack! Barry just thumped the ball over to Adebayor who held it well and advanced towards the Kaizer goal but he was quickly swarmed by defenders and lost the ball as he tried to square it to Bellamy...
    • 50 Zabaleta with a powerful half volley just going over from the edge of the box after he was first to respond to the headed clearance from yet another Petrov cross...
    • 47 The Kaizer Chiefs have started the second half just like they finished the first with Nhleko striking from distance again but it went over by some distance...
    • 45 We begin the second half but no changes for Manchester City...
    • - Do you think the Kaizer Chiefs will manage to hold on to their lead or even extend it? Will City come back or even win? let us know what you think!
    • - Well that was a very entertaining first half with both teams playing nice football but the Kaizer Chiefs took their chance to go ahead as the first half was coming to an end!
    • 45 2 minutes have been added on for injury time. Quite surprising really as Vidal was injured on the pitch for at least 5 minutes prior to him coming off.....it is a friendly though!
    • 44 The perfect time to score for the Kaizer Chiefs and that will certainly change both managers half-time team talks!
    • 40 GOAL!!!!!! Jeffrey Ntuka scores as City fail to deal with the corner and he was left unmarked on the back post to control the ball with his thigh then strike it low into the goal!
    • 40 Yende comes close with a great strike on the edge of the box! Given was fully stretched and pushed it past the post for a corner!
    • 39 As we approach the end of the first half it is the Kaizer Chiefs who are looking to get the first goal but City are looking more dangerous at the moment...
    • 37 Petros is looking dangerous down the left again as he zipps a low cross back to the edge of the box! Bellamy was there to strike a low shot but the Kaizer defence blocked it well...
    • 36 Looks like another injury scare for City as Richard Dunne comes off looking upset about something. Pablo Zabaleta comes on to replace him.
    • 34 City are a lot more patient with their play when in possession where as the Kaizer Chiefs play at a much faster tempo...it's like a game of chess at the moment!
    • 32 Nhleko with some nice skill as he turned Bridge on the edge of the box and it looked dangerous but the left-back was quick to recover and won the ball back...
    • 28 Almost for City! Petrov zipped the ball across the box from the left and it missed everyone except Wright-Phillips who was quick to react and directed the ball back across the box but nobody was there...
    • 25 Lebese plays a nice one-two with Nhleko as they run at the City defence with pace but Richard Dunne was there to dive at the shot and Given picked up the ball as it trickled towards him.
    • 23 Barry strikes from the edge of the box as he picks up the knock back from Bellamy's chest after Petrov crossed from the left. It went straight at the goalkeeper though...
    • 22 Manchester City look a lot more comfortable on the ball then they did in their early matches here in South Africa. But the Kaizer Chiefs are heading straight to the City goal as soon as they get the ball and they look dangerous!
    • 20 Vidal is substituted by Ben-Haim as he was crippled by Kaizer keeper Khune who caught the oncoming defender with his studs...
    • 12 Another long range strike for the Kaizer Chiefs this time by Yende but again it goes miles over the bar...
    • 6 Long range effort from Sweswe with his left foot from 20 yards...went miles over!
    • - Manchester City line-up: Given, Bridge, Dunne, Onuoha, Vidal, Barry, De Jong, Wright-Phillips, Petrov, Bellamy, Adebayor
    • 4 Adebayor makes his debut today as he's paired up front with Craig Bellamy!
  • Summary

    • 54 Adebayor with a glorious opportunity!! It was two versus one as he tried to square it to Bellamy who was unmarked but Mmbooi just stopped it reaching him. Adebayor then picked up the ball and switched the ball on to his left but hit it miles over!
    • 40 GOAL!!!!!! Jeffrey Ntuka scores as City fail to deal with the corner and he was left unmarked on the back post to control the ball with his thigh then strike it low into the goal!
