  6. not one persons said how good rangers were.. so i will.. thay kicked man chitty off the park.. and frankly it should have been more.. city were lucky it was a bounce up game.. or dunne would have been off.. for some of his tackles.. the gap between the 2 big scottish clubs and the english premiership isnt as big as people think,, yes the finalcial gaps is miles apart ! a joke ! .. but both Rangers and Celtic have proven in the past..that thay can get to finals.. compete in the groups.. oh and actually win some games... MONEY DOS'NT BUY YOU " HEART " and unlike the money grabbing pre-madonnas in the english premiership.. these teams play with HEART !!..

  7. Man City and Real Madrid show that money cant buy you success.

From nezvedz, on Thu 6 Aug 1:57PM
  8. Looks money well spent to ensure more defeats and relegation contenders. Quick City, you still have time to throw away more money through the transfer window

From Olidix, on Thu 6 Aug 12:48PM
  9. Some silly Man U fan (aren't they all) thinks Keano came through the youth system of Utd. Did he not come from Notts Forest to Utd? Get your facts right!

  12. As we all know, only too well, friendlies, Charity Shields and various other pre-season events generally have little bearing on the season. Let's wait and see which "team" makes a meaningful start, and more importantly a strong finish!

From Richard, on Thu 6 Aug 11:29AM
  13. Never thought it would happen, but I was cheering on a Scottish team last night - Go on Davie Weir (Everton Legend) COYB!! Sh1ty city hahahaha - All money, no class!!

  19. i support neither united or city, but for the 1st time in years united have got to contend with their closest rival in the league (actually, i dont remember the last time they did). and, lets face it, liverpool/Everton/Bolton/Wigan arent gonna challenge them any time soon. but there is 1 thing i do know, the manchester derby is gonna be accccceeee this year!!! and if we are extremely lucky we'll have a all manchester cup final.

Good year of footy this year hopefully, world cup at the end of it!

i support middlesbrough but for obvious reasons i hav not a prem team to support this, so i want BURNLEY to do well. Burnley 4 the title!!!!!

From samshan, on Thu 6 Aug 8:26AM
  20. 110: Man United have paid over the odds for players sometime but who? Nani? Anderson? They have proven to be what United wants, play for the shirt and not for cash. Rooney? You can’t argue we paid over the hills for him. Berba? Well maybe but lets see him in this season. Valencia you can’t say we paid over for him. He is fast, strong and capable of keeping the ball well. Not a Ronaldo but he will be transformed to a better player. United never bought titles. Where did you leave, Shcoles, Giggs, Becks, Keano, Nevilles, Evans, Brown, Oshea, Fletch, Now Macheda, wellbeck, Gibson, Silva bro’s … those are from the youth team. What does Chitty have? The players that went there went there for MONEY. They lost to Rangers last night, remind me didn’t Arsenal beat them 3-0 just a couple of days ago, and using youngsters? Common man, maybe you are a City fan.

    Glory Glory Man UTD
