    Time:90'
    • Tottenham Hotspur
    • West Ham United
    • 90+2' The final whistle goes, and Tottenham are into the final. Yes, already! They will play either Hull or Beijing Guoan, who face off at 13:30 UK time, so stick around for that.
    • 90' Two minutes of added time are signalled.
    • 90' Livermore barges his way through the West Ham back line but fires wide.
    • 89' Defoe wants another, and he cuts inside from the left and fires low only for Green to get down and save at the near post!
    • 87' Defoe's shot is deflected over to Lennon on the right, and the low ball across the six-yard box is just missed by Keane as he slides in!
    • 86' Tottenham are passing the ball around quite comfortably now as they look to see this one out.
    • 84' A few changes for both sides: Collison and Jimenez go off for Hines and Spector for West Ham, while SPurs replace birthday boy Palacios with Livermore, the youngster who scored against Barcelona last week.
    • 82' Cole reacts quickly to steer a first-time shot on goal, but it's over the bar.
    • 78' The Worker's Stadium is filling up now as they arrive to see Beijing Guoan take on Hull City. Remember that match will also be covered here at 13:30.
    • 76' Robert Green will be disappointed with himself there, but if anyone deserves a goal in this game it is Defoe.
    • 75' GOAL!! Defoe gets the breaktrough for Spurs! The linesman has his flag up for a foul on the striker but referee Marriner again plays advantage and Defoe takes it, firing low and seeing his shot slip underneath Green and trickle over the line!
    • 74' Jack Collison skips past two defenders on the edge of the Tottenham area and gets his shot off, but it's right at Cudicini.
    • 73' Keane finds Modric in the area and the Croatian is being held back as he shoots... The referee plays the advantage and Green saves the low shot!
    • 71' Defoe is caught offside. He just timed his run too early.
    • 71' Aaron Lennon comes on in place of Kyle Naughton for Spurs.
    • 70' Cole once again finds himself looking at an offside flag, though perhaps he can count himself unlucky on that occasion.
    • 69' There will be penalties at the end of this game if there is no winner.
    • 68' Modric swings in the delivery but West Ham can head clear again.
    • 67' Defoe's turn of pace finds him free in the box again, but he fails to pick out Keane at the far post and he'll have to settle for a corner.
    • 66' Junior Stanislas is replaced by Savio Nsereko for West Ham.
    • 64' Cole is in the centre of the Spurs box but he tries to nod a ball back for Stanislas rather than work the chance for himself, and Tottenham can clear.
    • 63' West Ham are seeing more of the ball in this half, but they are still struggling to create chances.
    • 61' SPurs have a corner. It's taken short and Modric jinks hi way into the box but can't pick out a target in the box.
    • 58' Palacios splits the defence with a through ball and Defoe shows good strength to hold off Collins and get his shot away, but the effort was high and wide in the end.
    • 57' Carlton Cole is on the wing and sneaks a ball into the box for Jimenez. The Chilean's first touch makes the angle too narrow for him, and his lifts his shot over the bar.
    • 54' Mark Noble is having a right go at Jamie O'Hara for cynically clipping his hell once the ball was past him. Noble reacts and several players step in. The referee books both players.
    • 53' Spurs once again starting the brighter of the two sides.
    • 51' Keane dinks a ball over the West Ham defence and Defoe volleys on the turn... Well over the bar!
    • 50' O'Hara curls in the set piece but Ilunga can hack it clear.
    • 49' Stanislas fouls Hutton and Spurs have a free-kick on the right wing.
    • 49' Carlton Cole is once again flagged offside. He's been kept quiet for much of this game.
    • 48' Modric swings in a corner but Green is off his line to punch clear one-handed.
    • 47' Defoe spins on the edge of the area and fires a shot... keane tries to get out of the way but ends up blocking the strike!
    • 46' West Ham get the second half underway.
    • HT Changes for both sides here: Spurs bring on Keane for Pavlyuchenko, while Parker replaces Dyer for the Hammers.
    • HT The news from the West Ham dressing room is that Luis Boa Morte has a suspected torn cruciate ligament. Bad news for Gianfranco Zola, even worse news for the player. It was such an innocuous incident too.
    • 45+1' Half-time is called by referee Andre Marriner, and Spurs have dominated a rusty West Ham side and really should be in front.
    • 45' Defoe blasts another strike from the edge of the box but this one is slashed well wide of the target.
    • 45' Huddlestone brings the ball out of defence and carries it into the West Ham half. He finds defoe on the right and the striker shoots, but Upson reads it well and blocks the effort.
    • 44' Green proves he can move to coming off his line quickly to pluck an Assou-Ekotto cross out of the air.
    • 43' Modric curls a shot from the edge of the box. Once again it's wide, once again Green stands still and watches it go past. Either he's super-confident or he's stuck to the floor!
    • 41' Jimenez curls an inviting ball to the far post for Collins, who can only head over the bar under pressure from Corluka.
    • 40' Assou-Ekotto bundels over Cole, and West Ham have another promising set piece.
    • 39' Corluka has to put the ball behind and West Ham have their first corner. The set piece is whipped right into the arms of Cudicini.
    • 38' Assou-Ekotto skips around three West Ham players and ends up back where he started!
    • 36' Pavlyuchenko sprays a ball out left to O'Hara, who jinks his way round Faubert and chips a cross in that's just too high for Defoe!
    • 33' Ilunga has two men on his case but gets the ball to Dyer. He can't find Noble and the move breaks down. The Hammers lacking that cutting edge so far.
    • 31' Now Pavlyuchenko has a strike! His strike from distance is over the bar.
    • 30' Palacios wins the ball and drives forward. He finds O'Hara with a square pass and the little midfielder curls a shot just wide of the far post with Green rooted to the spot.
    • 29' West Ham keep hold of the ball but fail to work a chance.
    • 28' Great challenge from Noble on Huton to snuff out a Spurs attack.
    • 26' Faubert chases after a a diagonal ball forward, but he can't reach it to get the break going.
    • 25' Palacios is bullying his way around the pitch - this time hauling down Jimenez on the wing.
    • 23' A long Tottenham ball over the top is shielded by Upson back to Green with Pavlyuchenko looming.
    • 22' Jamie O'Hara hurts himself as he tries to keep the ball in play. Play continues while he is treated on the sideline.
    • 20' The tempo has slowed and West Ham are starting to get their foot on the ball. They are yet to create a chance however.
    • 17' Spurs win a free-kick and Huddlestone drills a strike that swings out and whistles past the frame of the goal. tottenham very much on top here.
    • 16' A mistake by Noble and it's three on two. O'Hara drives down the centre and then feeds Pavlyuchenko who curls a first-time shot past Green but off the post! The ball comes back to the Russian but Upson dives in to dispossess him.
    • 15' Mark Noble comes on for Boa Morte. Noble has barely had a break this summer, after reaching the Euro U21 final in Sweden.
    • 14' Hutton finds Naughton in the box and the youngster fires a shot across the face of goal just wide of the far post.
    • 13' Luis Boa Morte has been stretchered off. Mark Noble is preparing to come on.
    • 11' Boa Morte lands awkwardly on his right ankle as he tussles with Assou-Ekotto. The slow motion replay draws winces, and he's receiving treamtnet now.
    • 10' Luka modric is the Spurs captain today, and is always looking for the ball. Can he build on his excellent debut season for Spurs next erm?
    • 9' Spurs seeing most of the ball in the opening 10 minutes. Pavlyuchenko strikes from distance but it's striaght at Green.
    • 8' Don't forget that we have Hull City v Beijing Guoan coming up after this match.

    • - Tottenham once again start with Tom Huddlestone at centre-back and new-boy Kyle Naughton on the wing.

  20. why is it that people from the north constantly go on about being from the north - inferiority complex maybe - Southerners don't feel the need to go on an on and on and on and on about being from the South - I suppose its because the north is one big nasty @#$% hole and southerners just like to ignore it completly, going on about being southern just remind us that all the inbred northerners exist.
