    • 90' A good work out for Spurs who were tested throughout but they won't be thrilled with the result or the lack of shots on target or any real cutting edge

    • 91' Kyle Walker is a really impressive athelete, big and strong and he defends well

    • 89' Rose is certainly full of running still as he darts forward down the left again his cross is well cut out though

    • 35' Orlando Pirates are playing some nice stuff in the middle of the pitch but they seem to panic a bit in the final third and haven't really got in to the penalty area at all

    • 17' GOAL FOR TOTTENHAM!!! Rafa van der Vaart fires in the resulting free-kick right into the top corner. From the right hand side of the area he hammered it into the far corner with his left foot leaving the keeper no chance
    • 16' Danny Rose breaks at great pace and plays a cross-field pass to Bentley who is scythed down on the edge of the box, free-kick
    • 15' The resulting cross was met in the air by a South African head but it was tame and comfortable for Friedel
    • 14' Chansa with another effort from range which was deflected off the sliding Danny Rose and looked dangerous for a second but loops out for a corner

    • 10' David Bentley, in his return to a Tottenham shirt races after a long Kaboul pass but can't keep it in, he won't thank him for balls like that all night
    • 9' Modric and Bale link-up very nicely down by the left corner, the Croat flicks it back into the Welshman's pass but he was caught offside
    • 8' Spurs just starting to get on the ball a bit more consistantly and gaining the territorial advantage as well

    • 6' Bale with the first chance of the match as he beat Mahamutsa for pace on the left and the ball bobbled up to be hit on the volley, it was from a tight angle though and he flashed it over the bar
    • 5' A very slow start to the game, neither team retaining possession too effectively and neither have settled
