  1. Seems that SAF and the Man U machine have decided to push the players they have already in reserve instead of trying to seriously compete with big spenders. Its time all the greed of agents and players was stopped. Put a ceiling on earnings now but not at Rooneys disgustingly inflated rate. Nobody is worth that much. £80,000 per week max from now and that dependent on attendance, training and being ambassadors for the club and football as a whole. The country is in an economic mess, whilst not the fault of football in general, it is those involved in football that should take some responsibility. What do they expect someone who has a family and mortgage, even rent, to consider on £25,000 a year to think? How about those on low income or those facing the prospect of losing their home? Take up the mantle of responsibility and leadsership footballers, clubs and agents!!

  5. Well said Brian. All "Fergie time" proves is that United play until the final whistle, no matter when that is. They don't give up when there's 5 minutes to go. United till I die!!!

  6. I find it so amazing, all these non Man United suporters following a United game. Just goes to show how c**p their team must be that they have to "lower" themselves to follow United. If you don't like the team, go watch your own sorry pile of s**t play and comment on them.

  10. Monty, why would United need added time when they were winning at 90 minutes? At least understand the basics of what you are talking about before commenting. Also, both teams to get to play extra time, not just United so both teams have a chance to score. Last season City were drawing with Fulham 2 all at 90 minutes, 4 minutes were added and nearly 5 minutes played, now that's what you call Manci time. And that's just one example of Manci time. The added time in United games is no different from that added for any other team, and please understand this really simple thing, there are two teams in a game of football. Man U were 2 x1 up against West Brom last season, and 5 minutes extra time was played. That goes against Man U because they were already winning the game and wanted it to end quickly. You see you don't know what you are talking about, Fergi time is nonsense

From Brian, on Wed 25 Jul 15:07
  11. Well you can see Man Utd have destroyed all before them again and have their 20th title in the bag. Main threat will be Chelsea but they will be 2nd by ten points with Man City struggling to finish fifth or sixth.
