It was a very good match for Nigeria in terms of­­ confidence ahead of their crucial world cup qualifying­­ match against kenya. the boys played with gut today,­­ quite unlike the usual super eagles we use to know.­ but­ i still think we need a good forward to compliment­ IK­ UCHE's work rate, he is a class player, he has­­ proven it beyond doubt, so what Amodu should do now is­­ to look for another good striker to pair with him, and­­ that will make our forward line more dreaded ala in­ the­ days of yekini and amokachi. i suggest that­ odewingie­ should be played more deeper in attack than­ midfield,­ for now he is the man that can compliment­ uche in our­ attack, maybe with martins coming in later­ for either­ of them if he is fit. i think mike deserve­ a place in­ our defensive midfield with olofinjaja as­ his­ substitute. uche kalu is good in our central­ midfield­ with either etuhu or kanu coming in for him­ later ( if­ necessary). then in central defence, its­ very obvious,­ adeleye has repeatedly proven himself as­ the chip of­ the old block in uche okechukwu, pls Amodu­ shoud give­ him a permanent shirt to pair with either­ Yobo or­ shittu, with nwaneri as a sub much later in­ the match­ (if necessary ), so far Amodu has not­ dissappointed,­ except for the match against­ Mozambique, pls let us­ encourage him for now instead­ of criticising him, world­ cup ticket is more important­ to us pls, it very­ dangerous to change a coach at this­ stage of the­ qualifying match. lets support him to­ boost his­ confidence pls.........WELL DONE SUPER­ EAGLE......PLS­ DO IT AGAIN AGAINST KENYA.........UCHE­ BORA

Very good game. We're beginning to see traces of­ the Super Eagles we used to know and love. Was­ surprised that the likes of Anelka and Ribery were­ superbly contained to secure a 1 - 0 win. Ikechukwu­ Uche, Kanu, Akpala (emerging goal poacher) and keeper­ Enyeama were simply solid. We hope that the Super­ Eagles keep on improving.
