    Time:90'
    • Italy
    • Northern Ireland
    • FT And the match finishes bang on 90 minutes. Italy win with ease but a decent performance for Northern Ireland's youngsters.
    • 89' Ireland work a free kick but Chris Casement fires over - it was decent chance that.
    • 87' One thing that has been constant in this second half is the noise for the Northern Ireland fans who have really got behind their team.
    • 86' Italy producing wave after wave of attack now - the Irish would be happy to hear the whistle.
    • 84' Brighi gets a header on target and Mannus tips it over the bar.
    • 82' Martin Donnelly comes on now for Northern Ireland and Andrew Little makes way.
    • 80' Pellissier is free one-on-one with Mannus but the Linfield man makes a great save.
    • 78' Northern Ireland make another change - Newcastle youngster Shane Ferguson comes on for his debut with Manchester United youth player Corry Evans making way.
    • 77' Italy just stroking the ball around now - this is a tough lesson for the Northern Ireland lads.
    • 75' Daniele Galloppa becomes the first Siena player to represent Italy as he comes on for D'Agostino.
    • 73' GOAL FOR PELLISSIER ON HIS DEBUT!! Brighi chipped the ball into him in the box and then with his back to goal he turned so well before firing a great shot into the net.
    • 71' Carson wins a free on the top of the "D" - McCann tries to curl the ball over the wall which he does but it goes just over the bar.
    • 69' Stephen Carson from Coleraine comes on for his debut aged 28. James Lawrie of Port Vale makes way.
    • 67' A little Italian spell ends when the lively Foggia fires a shot well over the bar.
    • 65' A little dead spell in the game at the moment and that is a credit to Northern Ireland who are figthing well.
    • 62' Chievo striker Sergio Pellissier also comes on for his debut - Pazzini comes off.
    • 62' Northern Ireland bring on two players from Belfast club Linfield. Goalkeeper Alan Mannus and young Robert Garrett for his debut. Off go Tuffey and O'Connor.
    • 61' Foggia just overcooks a little ball to Pazzini after another good attack.
    • 60' Rossi nearly steals the ball off Casement but the Irishman just does enough to get it back to Tuffey.
    • 59' Free-kick for Northern Ireland in a decent position 35 yards out but McCann fires well over the bar.
    • 57' Well the changes made at half-time were - ON: Dossena, Palombo, Brighi and Foggia. OFF: Grosso, Gattuso, Montolivo and Mascara.
    • 56' D'Agostino now powers a shot on target and Tuffey has to tip it over. And then the corner directly hits the post!!! All Italy now.
    • 55' SAVED ONTO THE POST FROM TUFFEY THOUGH!! Great save to deny Pazzini.
    • 54' PENALTY ITALY - Tuffey brings down Pazzini and is lucky to stay on the pitch as the striker looked to round him.
    • 53' But they have scored now - a lovely goal too from Pasquale Foggia - after a fine ball from Rossi he skipped past his man into the box and calmly scooped it past Tuffey. He only came on at half-time but what an impact.
    • 50' After all those changes Italy are struggling to find any rhythm in the early stages of his second half.
    • 48' The first chance of the half actually goes to Northern Ireland as Andrew Little who has moved up front now Healy is off turns well in the middle of the pitch - he gets a shot on target but it is too straight.
    • 46' And we are back underway and Italy have made four changes at the break - we will let you know what those changes are when we know ourselves!
    • HT There is the half-time whistle and NI have done well to keep this down to just 1-0 at the interval. Italy could easily be three or four ahead
    • 45' Healy is taken off after picking up what looks like a groin strain while attempting that shot from distance and that's a massive blow for the visitors
    • 44' PAZZINI!! Italy have a golden chance to extend their lead just before the interval as Rossi lays the ball off to the fast approaching Pazzini just inside the area but Evans does just enough to block the shot. Italy appeal for a penalty but will have to be content with a corner instead
    • 43' Healy fails to find the target yet again as he shoots wide of the right posts. You can't really blame NI for feeling like they should shoot whenever they get a sight on goal, but unfortunately their direction is going to need to improve considerably if they are to get on the scoresheet tonight!
    • 40' Italy are looking to finish the half on a high but Tuffey is once again the hero for NI as he collects a Mascara shot from the edge of the area
    • 39' Much better from NI as Healy enjoys their best chance yet to get on the scoreboard. Still the shot had to come from the edge of the area though and it is right at Marchetti, who has little trouble in collecting the ball
    • 36' Montolivo shoots from distance but his effort flies wide of the left post and Tuffey, in the end, is untroubled
    • 34' Italy's defence are playing a high line and successfully cutting out any NI danger miles out from the area so far tonight and you get the feeling that any goal for the visitors is going to have to come from an Italy error or a screamer
    • 30' Italy are all over NI once again as a long ball is bootted upfield for Pazzini to chase. But Coates does well and just reaches the ball first heading back for Tuffey to clear
    • 26' Much better from the visitors as they get back into the Italy half for the first time in almost 15 minutes but there's very little support for Healy, who has a go at a shot from distance and sends the ball well wide
    • 24' Ooooh! NI concede a corner and very nearly concede a second goal as Gamberini heads towards goal. It takes two last-ditch headers from Johnson to clear off the line before Tuffey can collect the loose ball and NI really need to pull themselves together quickly
    • 22' NI are reeling from that Italy goal as Tuffey is called upon to collect a long ball that his defence really should have dealt with
    • 19' GOALISSIMO! Rossi picks up the ball inside the NI half, strides out to the edge of the area under very little pressure indeed and boots an absolute bullet of a shot into the back left hand corner of the net, just out of reach of the diving Tuffey
    • 16' PAZZINI! The Italy striker really should have done better with his shot from just outside the area but Coates did just enough to put him off and the shot flies over the bar
    • 13' McCann chips a free kick into the area after Evans is fouled by Gattuso but Italy, or more specifically Legrottaglie, head back to the keeper and Marchetti clears
    • 11' Italy have a free kick after Little brings down D'Agostino. The hosts take the free kick quickly and Santon whips a cross in from the right but there are more NI heads in the box than Italian and the visitors clear without a shot on goal
    • 10' Gattuso is brought down by McGivern just inside the Italian half and Italy have a chance to clear
    • 9' NI just make it back into Italian territory - Gattuso quickly wins the ball back for the hosts but promptly gives it away again!
    • 7' Rossi, again, tries to slot a pass through the defence as the world champions continue their period of pressure but Coates is on hand to cut out the pass and Italy are just struggling with that final ball in the opening 10 minutes of this clash
    • 4' After that first trip deep into the Italian's half, NI have barely touched the ball as Pazzani is flagged offside in a dangerous position
    • 3' Santon maks a first foray into NI territory before finding Rossi but the striker loses the ball and the move breaks down
    • 1' Northern Ireland are immediately on the attack as Healy chases a long boot upfield into thecorner but is judged to have fouled Gamberini and Italy have a free kick
    • 1' Nigel Worthington's Northern Ireland get the clash underway ...
    • 19:46 Northern Ireland: Tuffey, Johnson, Casement, Coates, McGivern, Little, O'Connor, McCann, Evans, Carson, Healy. Subs: Mannus, Ferguson, McGinn, Garrett, Lawrie, Donnelly, Duffy.
    • 19:43 Italy: Marchetti, Santon, Gamberini, Legrottaglie, Grosso, D'Agostino, Gattuso, Montolivo, Mascara, Pazzini, Rossi. Subs: De Sanctis, Cassani, Esposito, Dossena, Biagianti, Palombo, Galloppa, Brighi, Foggia, Pellissier.
