mistakes are coming a regular part of joe harts game now don't know what has happened to him I think it might be time to start looking at replacing him previous goalies have not been given the same lenience the media just seem to brush his mistakes aside where other keepers have been hammered and made scapegoats funny how the press and pundits can affect a persons career.
Great game by both teams but England just about shaved it. However, I feel ashamed that the England (UK) national anthem became a target of the low life boo boys in the Scottish support - the English support respected the Scottish Anthem but a great number of the Scots contingent found it necessary to disrespect the English one. Shame on you!
It comes to something when Cleverly played half decent, I've never seen him play well yet and I'm a Utd fan. Anyway I thought that Scotland (am I really saying this) played really well. There isn't one of their players that would get in England's team but it was an even game
For England I thought Cleverley and Wellbeck where the stand out players. Wilshere was ok but slightly dissapointing for his usual very high standard. Lampard looked good when he came on and Zaha shows promise but isn't quite the finished article yet. For Scotland Miller and Morrison done well. I thought it was a decent game, one of the most entertaining internationals I have watched in a while.
good result especially against them lot well done ENGLAND
363. Two of your goalscorers come from Bongo-Bongo land..Without the Bongo-Bongo's you'd be nothing
Niall Ranger tennis ? ah no #$%$
Scotland are #$%$ England are far superior and they aint no world beaters ours players look awkward on the ball as usual
Scotland are below bongo bongo land ..say no more
@360 where as the world class rooney did so much for the cause where he was on the pitch. Oh no wait he did F all
Well done to those pr@ts in our "tartan army" for booing their own national anthem. No wonder we get looked at as a bunch of overweight, drunken bunch of airheads when you idiots conduct yourselves like that. And at a friendly match to boot. Ooooh, the irony of it all!! PS, any chance of our english friends keeping them down there? I'm sure there are some cages around that you could squeeze em into!
Everyone will be raving in the début of Southampton's Ricky Lambert, sure he scored with first touch - a powerful header- BECAUSE of the perfect corner delivery. He missed TWO easier chances in injury time to show his true (LACK of) international class
When did England win a major tournament? From Michael, on Wed 14 Aug 22:06 Every time England play it is major for Scotland!
GSTQ is Scotland's anthem too. Surely they can boo their own anthem, no? Time England got their own one.
Where's showboating Jock Salmon and his fracking flag of St Andrew From Felice Tedechi, on Wed 14 Aug 22:03 It has been recycled as his duvet cover!
Rooney was clearly not match fit and probably his own doing. I thought Cleverley was M.O.M as he make things happen. Wilshire's give and go was read by the Scots and he did not make a lot of impact. Partly because he was doing trhese with Rooney whose passes are a bit short. Welbeck tried and ran all night and has nifty footwork to match his effort. Hats off to Lambert on scoring 3 minutes in debut. Scots played gamely and the rating difference between the 2 coutry become questionable. If they have a better striker than over the hill Miller and over reliant Malooney, they could have at least walk off with a draw.
big up e.d.l i think not , this is about football not politics, thers a time and a place for that and this is neither the time or place. thank you.
Scotland and England are just not good enough I'm afraid
Mummy's boy Andy Murray must be crying in his milk. From s, on Wed 14 Aug 21:57 Andy supports England now. Do keep up!
