- 41' This game is Juve’s third in seven days and they are looking lethargic at times. A lazy ball forward from Vidal is easily cut out.

- 18' De Rossi remains composed in the box to clip a ball forward whilst under considerable pressure but Lamela’s heavy touch allows Juve to stream forward again. De Rossi takes his frustration out on the ankle of Lichtsteiner. Free-kick, and a yellow card.

- 16' An advanced Lichtsteiner has two decent crossing opportunities. The first of which is a testing ball but the second of which fails to beat the first man – neither come to much.
- 15' De Rossi links the play well in midfield before looking for a switch of play behind Lichtsteiner – they have clearly earmarked him as a defensive weak spot but this time he manages to clear. The ball is worked back out wide before an over-hit pass denies Marquinho a crossing opportunity as the ball fizzes past his run and out of play.
- 13' Pogba tracks Marquinho through midfield to win the ball back, but Matri wastes his toil with a under-hit return ball as Roma come again.
- 12' Roma are getting great joy down the Juve right. This time Lamela slips the ball to Osvaldo who rounds Buffon but with no support his cross is easily cleared.
