    Time:90'
    • Deportivo La Coruna
    • Valencia
    • 90+3' The final whistle goes and there's a bit of handbags between the two teams but that won't change the fact that it's ended 1-1, an unsatisfactory result for both sides.
    • 90+3' After all the yellow cards we've had tonight, the first one handed to a Depor player is for Lopo, who cynically tripped Fernandes.
    • 90+1' A slick Valencia move turns defence into attack, but Morientes can't control the high ball sent up to him and the move dies. It's end to end in injury time.
    • 87' Lassad is replaced by Bodipo for the final few minutes.
    • 85' Chaos in the Valencia box as first Marchena nips in front of his goalkeeper to clear and then Lassad kicks the ball out of Cesar's one hand and fires into the side netting! The ex-Spurs keeper is furious, but he only had one hand on it on the ground.
    • 81' Valencia build a move through Mata who plays across to Baraja for the strike... The drive flashed past the foot of the post and JUST wide!
    • 80' GOOOOOOOOOLL!! Wouldn't you know it... Depor equalise from the free-kick! Piscu beats his marker at the far post to head back across goal and give Cesar no chance! The old adage has been proved again - Never make a substitution when defending a set piece.
    • 79' Interesting move here by Emery... His side have just gone a man down but he swaps silva for Morientes, another striker, presumably to hold the ball better. El Mori jogs on as Valencia are about to defend a free-kick...
    • 76' Villa runs in to charge down Aranzubia's clearance. The keeper goes to take it round him but Villa's momentum makes the two men collide and hit the ground... The referee comes running over and brandishes a yellow - Villa's second - and a red!! A tad harsh, but that serves Villa right for feigning injury earlier.
    • 74' Another Valeron foul, another Depor free-kick. Sergio will STRIKE... Cesar raised his hand but the ball clips the top of the crossbar. The referee is fooled though, and gives a corner, but cesar catches that in commanding fashion too.
    • 70' Antonio Tomas will be replaced by another veteran, Sergio, the centre of midfield.
    • 70' Valeron has certainly made an impact since he came on, this time drawing the foul from Baraja. He has got his team, and the crowd, interested again.
    • 65' Juan Roriguez is sacrificed in order for Valeron to kickstart a Depor revival in this game. The veteran playmaker's first act is to win Depor a free-kick in a good position. Filipe will STRIKE... curled round the wall but an easy catch for the keeper.
    • 62' Joaquin hasn't had a vintage evening, and he is replaced by club youngster Michel.
    • 60' Lassad drives forward through three men into the Valencia box... The ball just runs too far ahead of him and Cesar bravely dives at the striker's feet to smother the ball.
    • 58' Lassad nods a ball down for RODRIGUEZ TO STRIKE... the volley was wide of the far psot, but the whistle had already blown for Lassad's foul on Marchena.
    • 56' Really not much happening at the moment. Valencia seem happy to protect their one-goal lead and Depor are lacking the imagination to break through at the moment. Expect coach Lotina to make some changes before too long.
    • 55' Silva twists one way then the other on the edge of the Depor box before feeding Joaquin out on the right, but the winger's cross is headed away by Lopo.
    • 51' Alexis has to run a full pelt to beat Lafita to a ball down the wing and hook it out for a corner. Alexis then seems to head the set piece behind again but a goal kick is given.
    • 49' Rodriguez rises to head a cross on goal, but the whistle blows as he shoved Del Horno in the back.
    • 46' The second half has kicked off!
    • 45+2' Half time at the Riazor, and a lack of cutting edge at one end and a terrible error at the other have Valencia one goal to the good.
    • 45+2' Tomas's cross is headed by Marchena but it rebounds of De Guzman... right at Cesar. A big chance for De Guzman to make amends there. but he was as surprised as anyone to get the opportunity.
    • 45' Lafita is found down the left channel, but again there is no one in place to head his cross on goal.
    • 41' David Silva goes into the book for an aerial challenge on Rodriguez.
    • 40' Joaquin feeds the ball out to Villa who fires a low cross in... Hacked away by Lopo.
    • 37' Filipe works his way down the left and goes down all too easily under the challenge of Fernandes. Joaquin gets a booking as a crowd of players surround the referee to complain, while Villa also gets one for feigning injury in an earlier incident!
    • 35' Are rather innoccuous cross into the Valencia box and Maduro goes for an entirely needless diving header! The ball pings around before ending up in Cesar's hands.
    • 32' It will be Villa who STRIKES... The wall does it's job, and the shot deflects behind for a corner. The referee sees an offensive foul in the box and Depor have a free-kick.
    • 31' Valencia have a free-kick in a promising central position, 25 yards out. Mata, Silva and Villa are all around the ball...
    • 30' Lafita sneaks a nice reverse pass to Lassad, but the striker's cross finds no one in the area. Depor have reasserted their control of the game following the goal.
    • 28' De Guzman floats a ball to the far post for Laasad but Marchena beats him in the air.
    • 25' GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!! A terrible error by De Guzman costs Depor a goal!! The midfielder hooks a pass back towards Piscu but David Villa is there lurking in an offisde position. He intercepts the ball and curls a shot around the defender and into the top corner!! An excellent finish by Villa, but the chance was a gift!
    • 22' Marchena comes across and tackles Rodriguez in no uncertain terms. From the Depor throw Valencia break and Mata earns a corner. The corner leads to some head tennis in the area but Depor clear.
    • 19' Baraja is caught in possession in midfield by Verdu. He comes forward and plays the ball to DE GUZMAN... The Canadian shanks his shot into the stands!
    • 18' Alexis is booked for a wild challenge and Depor have a free-kick on the left wing. Several blue and white shirts have come up for this one... Punched away by Cesar.
    • 14' Good spell of possession for Depor here. Filipe dribbles into the box and Alexis's challenge only releases the ball for VERDU... Saved at the near post by Cesar!
    • 11' Verdu fancies his chances with a long-range shot, but it sails well over the Valencia goal.
    • 10' Rodrigues cuts inside, plays a one-two and SHOOTS... Cesar stops it at the near post. A nice, open start to this game.
    • 8' David Silva leads a Valencia break! He comes into the centre and slips a perfectly-timed through ball for Joaquin that beats the offside trap... Joaquin to take it round the keeper... Aranzubia gets down and stretches an arm out to tip the ball out of Joaquin's path! Great goalkeeping!
    • 7' Both sides seeing plenty of the ball, with possession frequently changing hands in midfield. Lassad's strike remains the only chance thus far.
    • 4' Depor come forward and Lassad has Rodriguez as an option but goes for the SHOT... The low drive was a comfortable save for Cesar.
    • 1' The match is underway!
    • 20:00 The players are walking out on to the field now, and this one will be underway in just a moment...
    • 19:59 Los Che are virtually at full strength, with only right-back Miguel missing from their top crop of players. Veteran Miguel Angel Angulo will fill in as right wing-back, which should be interesting.
    • 19:56 Depor are on the slide following only one win in their last six league games, seriously denting their UEFA Cup ambitions. Their injury list is extensive and is headed by the Mexican midfielder Guardado and forward Mista, but Valeron is fit and starts.
