    Time:90'
    • FC Barcelona
    • Real Zaragoza
    • 90' And that's it. Barcelona return to the top of La Liga with a thumping 6-1 victory over sorry Real Zaragoza. Barca back on track, but plenty of work for Marcelino's Zaragoza if, based on this performance, they are to avoid being dragged into a relegation dogfght
    • 90' There will be one minute of stoppage time, as Keita balloons a cross from the left. I think we'll let him off that one
    • 88' Valdes stands strong to deny Ewerthon when one-on-one with the keeper. The Brazilian should be tucking away those, but it does to lead to a corner... which unfortunately leads to nothing for Zaragoza
    • 87' Ibrahimovic may have not been unable to get his hattrick tonight, but Seydou Keita has. Iniesta playing an out-swinging corner, Keita rising highest to power his header home. It's not often a player outshines Ibrahimovic and Messi in the scoring stakes in one game, but that is exactly what Keita has done here
    • 86' GOAL FOR BARCELONA!
    • 84' Instant response from Barcelona after conceding, and they've managed to force a corner following strong play from Bojan
    • 83' Final substitutions for both sides: Xavi coming for Jeffren for Barcelona, and Songo'o takes Herrera's place in midfield for Zaragoza
    • 81' Barcelona make up for taking their foot of the pedal by grabbing a fifth. And guess what... Messi finally gets his goal! The Argentinean showing great composure to beat Carrizo, dinking the ball nicely over the keeper, following a bursting run and pass through the centre by Iniesta
    • 80' GOAL FOR BARCELONA!
    • 79' Well that came from absolutely nothing! Valdes makes a smart save to deny Ewerthon, but Zaragoza work the ball back to Jorge Lopez who strikes low from the edge of the area, beating Valdes at his near post. The keeper possibly should have done better, certainly a wake-up call for Barcelona.
    • 78' GOAL FOR ZARAGOZA!
    • 76' Marcelino's gameplan to restrict Barcelona's openings has certainly not beared fruit this evening. And if they don't stay switched on it could get even worse for them. Barca looking hungry for a fifth
    • 74' A half-chance for Zaragoza. I think we have to cherish these! Ewerthon is unable to reach a looping through-ball from Jorge Lopez and Valdes gathers easily. Still worthy of mention.
    • 73' Barcelona certainly look to be keeping their attacking shape swapping like-for-like in bringing on the exciting youngster Bojan for Ibrahimovic
    • 72' Couple of substitutions for Barcelona. It's a standing ovation for Zlatan Ibrahimovic who comes off for Bojan. And Pique has been replaced by Rafael Marquez
    • 69' For all Messi's efforts, he still can't get on the scoresheet! And credit must go to Carrizo for a fantastic parry from the Argentine magician's close-range strike. Credit too for Busquet's slick back-heel which played Messi in.
    • 67' Second substitution for Zaragoza as Arizmendi comes off for Ewerthon, who hasn't yet hit the goalscoring heights as he did in Liga Adelante last season
    • 67' It's a passing masterclass from Barcelona, but perhaps Iniesta and Ibrahimovic could have been more incisive in that last instance, when just in front of Carrizo's goal. But I guess I'm being picky when you're four goals to the good.
    • 65' Arizmendi attmpets abrave dart forward through the Barca backline but his final effort is weak and he's flagged offside anyway
    • 63' Even Pep Guardiola has been managing a smile tonight. That says a lot
    • 60' Subsitution on the hour mark for Zaragoza: A disappointing Pennant comes off for Lafita. I doubt Capello is considering changing his mind over the dimunitive winger
    • 60' It's none-stop from Barca. Iniesta shoots the ball directly at Carrizo, but the play from Messi and Ibrahimovic in advance of that effort, deserved much more
    • 59' Arizmendi sums up Zaragoza's night with a highly ambitious 35 yard attempt that Valdes gathers easily. It hasn't exactly been a difficult night so far for the Barca keeper, has it?
    • 57' Great determination from Iniesta down the left. He feeds Keita, who slots the ball into the path of Ibrahimovic, thus returning the favour for Keita's second, and the Swede taps-in from close range. Who would bet against a hattrick for Ibra?
    • 56' GOAL FOR BARCELONA!
    • 54' Messi attempts a smart finish past Carrizo, but to the credit of the keeper he manages to bat the ball away... but only into the path of Ibrahimovic. His simple tap-in, though, is ruled offside - to the bovious relief of the Zaragoza faithful
    • 53' Keita steals the ball from Aguilar and feeds Messi whose closed down quickly and is unable to deliver the ball back to the Mali international
    • 51' Francisco Pavon stands his ground as Ibrahimovic darts at him - something for the Spaniard to treasure as he refused to be outfoxed by the dynamic Swede
    • 49' Zaragoza, this time, were able to clear the ball at arguably the third or fourht attempt from Xavi's corner, and breath a sigh of relief in the process
    • 49' Great play from Iniesta, Xavi, Messi and Ibrahimovic around the box... its lead to a corner. Zaragoza looking very edgy
    • 48' Barcelona have begun this second-half much in the same vein that they ended the first - by dominating possession. Messi looking dangerous as the ball just evades his sprint attempt down the right.
    • 47' There have been no changes for either side at half-time
    • 46' And Zaragoza get us underway for the second-half. Can they salvage anything from this match?
    • 45' And that's half-time. It's been so easy for Barcelona - they've silenced those who talked of a supposed 'blip' in form prior to this match. They lead Zaragoza by three goals to nil at the break.
    • 45' Can Barca get a fourth before half-time? Maybe not, as Ibrahimovic is again ruled offside
    • 45' One minute of stoppage time at the end of this first-half
    • 44' Barcelona have been fimrly camped within the Zaragoza half all game and fully deserve the lead they've built up. Even Carlos Puyol almost got in on the action, although he didn't have the legs for Messi's clever chipped through-ball
    • 42' And just as Keita tracked back to cover, he then makes his way up the other end to slot in Ibrahimovic's pass from close-range. Fantastic box-to-box coverage from Keita - he's now working towards a hattrick.
    • 42' GOAL FOR BARCELONA!
    • 40' Messi cuts in from the right but his one-two with Xavi doesn't come off and that allows Zaragoza a whiff of a breakaway. But Keita tracks back to block Jorge Lopez
    • 38' Messi is back to his best and his close, intricate play forces Abel Aguilar to dive in recklessly. Yellow card for the Colombian
    • 37' Ibrahimovic slots the ball past Carrizo from a slick Messi through-ball, but the Swede moved a fraction too early
    • 36' A long night for Marcelino looks on the cards. Gurdaiola's boys look totally at ease, as Zaragoza once again get drawn into an unnecessary foul
    • 35' Zaragoza looking very lost at the moment - they're certainly being made to follow Barcelona's tune. The home side dominating possession and providing that clinical finish when necessary
    • 33' Xavi takes the free-kick but sends the ball agonisingly over
    • 32' It's becoming a sunday stroll for Barca, and Messi draws the foul from Francisco Pavon in another dangerous spot - just outside the Zaragoza penalty area on the right
    • 30' Gabi's unnecessary foul on Iniesta allowed Barca a strike at goal from 30 yards out. Up steps the big Swede Ibrahimovic and he doesn't disappoint smashing the ball past Carrizo into the top corner. That one too hot to handle for the Argentinean stopper
    • 29' GOAL FOR BARCELONA!
    • 29' And a third foul sees Gabi booked - lunging in carelessly at Iniesta as he tried to steady the ball
    • 28' Barcelona finding more and more space now - ominous signs for Zaragoza who have engaged in a copule of casual fouls on Messrs Iniesta and Messi
    • 27' Zaragoza's resistance has finally been broken. And it could have been worse moments later as Ibrahimovic broke, but he was flagged offside
    • 25' Oh that is too simple. From that resulting corner, Messi receives the ball played short, and delivers an inch-perfect cross to Keita who heads home unmarked
    • 25' GOAL FOR BARCELONA!
    • 25' More stylsih one-two play from Barca between Iniesta and Messi who fails to reach Ibrahimovic, but gets a corner
    • 24' Keita's looping cross into the box is comfortablty dealt with by Carrizo who, dare I say it, appears to be enjoying himself at the moment in the Zaragoza goal.
    • 23' Pennant asks a lot of Abel Aguilar but he manages to reach the ball down the Zaragoza right-flank. Maxwell and Chygrynskiy put paid to that attack though
    • 22' Fantastic technique from Ibrahimovic as he collects the ball on the edge of the area and rifles the ball at Carrizo who parries away. The Swede starting to find his stride again...
    • 21' Seydou Keita lays the ball off for Ibrahimovic on the left but he fails to find the return pass, as Keita darted into the box
    • 20' Very patient build-ups by the Catalan side, their incisive play failing to trouble the Zaragoza backline in the past couple of minutes. First signs of itchy feet at Camp Nou?
    • 18' Barcelona a little sloppy, Pennant robs the ball but Jorge Lopez sends an utterly useless cross into touch. Not a wise move
    • 16' Javier Arizmendi shrugs off Pique and Chygrynskiy as he sharply collects the ball from Ander Herrera, but he shoots low at Valdes from a tight angle
    • 15' Zaragoza seem happy to allow Barcelona to have the ball. Not a wise tactic given their attacking nous, they should be trying to close down Iniesta and Messi more often. Easier said then done, I guess
    • 14' Amazingly, Xavi loses possession - that doesn't happen too often and it gives Zaragoza an opportunity to break but the attack leads to nothing
    • 12' Slick play from Barcelona - Ibrahimovic heads down the ball for Messi in the box and Carrizo makes a fine save down to his right
    • 12' Pennant tries to lift Zaragoza's spirits down the right, but his link-up play with Herrera leads to nothing
    • 10' Iniesta claimed he was bundled over by Gabi, by the way. Barcelona having a lot of joy down this left-hand side, with Ibrahimovic again looking menacing
    • 9' Iniesta goes down in the box but the referee isn't having any of it, although Amo and Pavon did look to have their hearts in their mouths as the ref eventually decided to rule a penalty out.
    • 8' No signs of Zaragoza getting the ball, Xavi slots the ball into Ibrahimovic who controls well on the edge of the area before unleashing a shot straight at Carrizo. All Barca at the moment
    • 6' Is this a sign of things to come? Ibra dummies for Xavi who slides the ball in to Messi down the right flank but he schews his shot wide. The Argentine playmaker looking for his first La Liga goal inside a month
    • 5' Barcelona keeping possession well, although Zaragoza look equally comfortable holding the tight line
    • 2' Barcelona have started brightly and they've forced a corner. Pique gets his head to it, but is unable to direct at goal. Messi eventually collects the loose ball and forces a save from Carrizo. I wonder how busy he is going to be tonight for Zaragoza!
    • 1' And Barcelona kick us off playing from left to right, through Ibrahimovic and Iniesta
    • 20:00 The players are just going through their final preparations as we await the ref's whistle...
    • 19:57 I should just say that Jermaine Pennant believes his form for Zaragoza should reserve him a regular place on England's right-wing. Well, the stage doesn't come much bigger than Camp Nou, so now is the time (more than ever) to show your worth, Jermaine.
    • 19:55 And we're just five minutes from kick-off!
    • 19:53 ... while Zaragoza will look to Francisco Pavon and Pablo Amo to provide defensive reinforcements. Although, going forward, Barca will need to watch out for Abel Aguilar and lone striker Javier Arizmendi, who both have recorded three league goals so far this season
    • 19:51 So Barcelona's focus will obviously be on their attacking trio of Messi, Ibrahimovic and Iniesta, with Xavi set to once again pull the strings in midfield...
    • 19:50 Zaragoza line up 4-2-3-1: Carrizo, Paredes, Pavon, Amo, Pulido, Aguilar, Gabi, Lopez, Herrera, Pennant, Arizmendi. Subs: Babic, Lopez Vallejo, Lafita, Songo'o, Ewerthon, Laguardia, Borque
    • 19:48 Barcelona line up 4-3-3: Valdes, Maxwell, Chygrynskiy, Pique, Puyol, Busquets, Keita, Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Ibrahimovic. Subs: Marquez, Abidal, Pinto, Yaya Toure, Suarez, Bojan, Pedro
    • 19:47 Meanwhile, Zaragoza have Leonardo Ponzio suspended, while Ikechukwu Uche is a long-term absentee with a cruciate ligament injury. Other than that, coach Marcelino has no fresh injury worries
    • 19:45 Here's the team news... For Barcelona, Dmytro Chygrynski is available again after a month on the sidelines and replaces Rafael Marquez. Daniel Alves is set to be out for three weeks after injuring his leg during Champions League action on tuesday, and Thierry Henry is still some way off full fitness
    • 19:41 Perhaps, though, they can draw strength from the fact that Barca are themselves somewhat struggling - having suffered a shock 2-1 defeat at home to Rubin Kazan in the midweek Champions League fixtures, and were lucky to register a point in their last La Liga meeting at Valencia last weekend
    • 19:38 Zaragoza's away form has been particularly poor this season, with a single point taken from three matches and no wins recorded on the road thus far
    • 19:35 And they face an uphill task coming to the Catalan capital, where they'll face a Barca team who have already won all three of their home league matches this season. Among those victories included a 5-2 thrashing of underachieving Atletico Madrid, which no doubt contributed to the sacking of Atleti coach Abel Resino this week
    • 19:32 Zaragoza, meanwhile, languish in 14th place in the Primera Division with a paltry eight points taken from their opening seven games
    • 19:29 Victory for Barca would see them move three points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the table. Real, of course, were held to a disappointing goalless draw away to Sporting Gijon on saturday night.
    • 19:27 Hello and welcome to the final match from this weekend's La Liga fixtures - and it's Zaragoza taking on the might of Barcelona at Camp Nou
  • Summary

    • 86' GOAL FOR BARCELONA!

  1. Real Madrid paid HOW MUCH for C. Ronaldo? 80 MILLION?! And where is he now? INJURED!!! ALLLLLLLLL that money on C. Ronaldo, Benzema, Kaka, Alonso, Arbeloa and others only to be second in La Liga and 3 points behind? They bought more players then Barca and i swear we won the league and FOUR other trophies INCLUDING the champions League trophy yet they have more money to spend? The president has a lot to do with that i think but that goes to show that money cant always buy success. It takes teamwork and determination. When you buy that much players for a new club, how are they meant to understand the mentality of the club when several are still in former club minds?
