    • 90+5 Bradford are just hoofing it long whenever it comes their way. Given punts it, a bit of havoc in the box but Bradford clear. Throw to Villa... Now long from Delph - and it's the whistle! Bradford go to Wembley!
    • 90+4 No-one is in the box for this corner hilariously - they will just take it short to waste time. Villa win it back though.
    • 90+3 Delph with a stupid tackle as Bradford broke and he is booked. From the free-kick Bradford get a corner.
    • 90+2 Throw to Villa on the left wing... Villa fans are screaming for them to lump it long, which is foolish as when they do the ball is headed straight out. Tip - chucking it long does not work when a team have 11 men behind the ball!
    • 90+1 Almost a dramatic goal from the corner as the loose ball drops a yard ahead of the unmarked Bent!!
    • 90' Corner Villa as four minutes added time signalled! Benteke winning it with a header.
    • 89' Given is playing as a sweeper now as Villa chuck it all forward.
    • 88' GOAL VILLA! Weimann throws the cat among the pigeons as he races on to Bent's towering header and rounds the keeper to score! 2-1, 3-4 on aggregate! Route one from Given too!

    • 82' "You're getting sacked in the morning" the fans sing. And it's not at Phil Parkinson...
    • 81' Wells is offside but Dowd pulls play back for a late tackle... Bent is booked.
    • 80' Jones to take the corner... great ball into the six yard box but Hanson was pushing as he made contact with the ball.
    • 79' Thompson feeds Wells in the box but a super challenge from Vlaar concedes a corner.
    • 78' Bent goes too soon as is offside as he latches on to a long pass.
    • 77' Villa are back into their high-pressure routine now but Ireland's ball to Agbonlahor catches the local boy offside.
    • 76' Important inteception by McArdle as Benteke flew in for a header!
    • 74' Weimann races away down the right and his fizzing low ball beats everyone - including Benteke! It got a touch off someone en route, end-to-end!
    • 73' From which they hit the bar! Thompson with the screamer after a lovely counter attack from left to right, Darby with the cross and Thompson with the volley!
    • 72' N'Zogbia races on to a heavy Delph pass, keeping it in but effectively launching a Bradford break...
    • 71' BRADFORD SUB: Zines comes off for Thompson.
    • 70' VILLA SUB: Weimann comes on for Bennett. Four up top now.
    • 69' Delph with a goal-bound effort from range but it strikes the back of Agbonlahor to go wide.
    • 67' INCHES WIDE FROM IRELAND! Great play by Lowton and Bent, who puts in a driven low ball that the arriving Ireland flicks past the post!
    • 66' A series of throws to Villa on the right. Ramping up the pressure!
    • 65' Villa are just piling men forward now, which will leave them vulnerable on the break.
    • 63' The replay shows Clark saved the day there, his touch taking it on the top of Hanson's head. Meanwhile, Benteke hits one well off target.
    • 62' BIG MISS BRADFORD! Fantastic cross from Darby that Hanson rises to flick wide! Should have scored, Clark did enough to put him off! Would have been curtains for Villa!
    • 61' VILLA SUB: Bent comes on for Bannan. Ironic cheers from the fans as Bent has incredibly been ostracised by Lambert.
    • 60' Long-range effort from Wells but easy for Given. Bradford looking Villa's equals all of a sudden.
    • 59' Villa should have a corner but the ref somehow misses that McArdle headed the ball behind. Benteke nowhere near it.
    • 58' Sustained pressure as Benteke wins a couple of corners...
    • 57' Villa look stunned. They've dominated this match. Can they come back?
    • 56' Great header but shocking marking from Villa. Awful, non-league marking. Villa must score twice to force extra time.

    • 52' N'Zogbia on the run down the right, cutting inside but Jones blocks the cross for a throw.
    • 50' Villa knock the ball out after play is stopped for an injury. Delph decided to look for touch instead of the keeper.
    • 49' Vlaar takes the free-kick but the wall does its job. Now Ireland demands a free-kick after a mis-kicked clearance by Good is caught by Duke. Give over!
    • 48' Booking for a Bradford player after another free-kick is given away, 30 yards out or so.
    • 47' Another half chance for Benteke, who can't fully connect with an Lowton cross, the ball spinning away to the left.
    • 46' The second half is underway!
    • 45+2 Half-time and Villa lead 1-0, but they've been all over Braford and should have had more. They lost the first leg 3-1 so trailing by one goal on aggregate.
    • 45+1 One minute added time being played as NZogbia has a dig from a long way out, the ball going well off target.
    • 45' Wells picks up the ball on the right and he bends a superb dipping shot inches wide of the far post! Wow, from nowhere!
    • 44' JUST WIDE BY BENTEKE! Fantastic ball from Ireland on the right, Bradford completely conned by the movement on the ball, and with McArdle waiting for it to drop on his head, Benteke flies in to put it wide.
    • 43' A long ball almost picks out Bennett on the left wing but it's a touch heavy and lands out of play before he can get there.

    • 34' Poor corner from Bannan, overhit and out for a goal kick.

    • 32' Ireland on the ball now, he finds NZogbia WHO CUTS INSIDE AND SHOOTS AND DUKE TIPS IT OVER! Super save!
    • 31' Pretty incessant from Villa now - Bradford have everyone back, even Hanson.
    • 29' Bannan swings in the cross but over even Benteke's head and out for a goal kick.
    • 28' Corner to Villa as NZogbia's whipped ball is hacked behind.
    • 27' Ireland has the ball in the net but he was offside as Bennett's ball squeezed through to him.
    • 26' A weak long-range effort from Wells goes well wide.
    • 25' Villa need at least one more - and they should get it, this onslaught looks too much for Bradford.
    • 24' That was the first time Bennett crossed to Benteke - the Belgian's previous three misses were all headers from Nzogbia deliveries.
    • 23' GOAL VILLA! Benteke gets his finish right this time as he volleys a cross from Bennett on the left. Great ball, great finish. 1-0 on the night, 2-3 on aggregate.
    • 22' Clark is booked for getting in Hanson's way as the burly former Non League striker raced on to the ball. Harsh.
    • 21' Villa lay camp in the final third of Bradford's half. But they can't get a final ball past a very deep Bantams defence.
    • 20' A rare move forward for Bradford - that first leg is looking increasingly like a one-off. Surely only a matter of time for Villa?
    • 19' The usual Stan Petrov tribute takes place at 19 minutes.
    • 18' Poor pass from Lowton as Villa had men over.
    • 17' JUST OVER FROM DELPH! The former Bradford trainee pumps a long range shot over after a surging run. Good stuff from Villa.
    • 16' NZogbia on the right cuts back on to his left and puts in a fantastic cross FOR BENTEKE WITH THE HEADER but straight at Duke! Had to bury that!
    • 15' Delph overhits a pass. Villa are as expected dominating but lack confidence with the final ball.
    • 14' More good stuff from Villa as Agbonlahor breaks down the right but he gets the cross wrong and Bradford clear.
    • 13' Ireland almost sets Lowton free down the right but he overhits the pass.
    • 11' 75% possession for Aston Villa so far in this match. Good slows things down for Bradford as he takes his time with a throw.
    • 10' Set pieces not coming off yet for the Bantams - Villa return upfield.
    • 9' Whoops - Clark gives away a useful set piece position on the right for Bradford. They have a two-goal cushion and one more could kill Villa's spirit.
    • 8' Benteke marauding forward but no end prodcut yet - it's all Villa and the League Two side need to weather this pressure.
    • 7' Bradford manager Phil Parkinson watching on nervously from the sidelines, arms crossed, except to give instructions to his defence.
    • 6' Promising move from Villa, who've definitely come out like a team on a mission.
    • 5' CLOSE! N'Zogbia with the floated ball, Benteke with the header and Lowton has to make an instinctive effort to nod on target - he cannot adjust in time.
    • 4' Doyle's turn to foul, bringing down Delph as he moves foward for Villa.
    • 3' After an overzealous start from Villa they're settling down and on the attack. Decent cross from the right from N'Zogbia, Bradford come away with a goal kick.
    • 2' Rash challenge from Delph leads to an unnecessary but useful free kick for Bradford. It sails into the box but is played out on the far side.
    • 1' And we're off! Bradford, playing in their away kit, get us started. Villa in claret and blue had a final team huddle on the field before the kick off - they look like they understand the importance of the game.
    • 19:40 While we wait for the match to kick off, why not take a moment to follow @EurosportCom_En on Twitter for all the latest breaking news and updates? Follow!
    • 19:35 The atmosphere building nicely at Villa Park. Bradford have rarely had a better chance of reaching Wembley, while Aston Villa will surely feel they can overturn the lead - even if the consequences of failure for Paul Lambert could be severe.
    • 19:30 Curious story doing the rounds in the build-up to this semi-final - Paul Lambert has accused the Bradford chaplain of disrespect. Find out why
    • 19:25 Phil Parkinson: "The players deserve an awful lot of credit for the way they’ve kept going each week. It can be as tough mentally as it is physically, because three of our games against Premier League opposition will have been the biggest matches many of these players have played in their lives. The players have given me absolutely everything. Although we haven’t won every week, and we’ve dropped down the league a little bit, we’ll get back up there."
    • 19:20 Paul Lambert: "I don't sense any apprehension at all. I just feel we are ready for it and we know what we have to go and do. I am pretty sure everyone will make us favourites to turn it around. In a cup game anything can happen but, with a big pitch and a crowd behind us, hopefully we will be able to score more than we did up in Bradford. If we get through, the confidence will be great. The feeling around the club will be massive. It will be a great thing."
    • 19:15 A reminder of where we stand in this contest - League Two Bradford have the upper hand after the first leg, having downed Villa 3-1 at Valley Parade. Full match report
    • 19:10 No surprises that Bradford are unchanged after their first-leg heroics. Villa, meanwhile, have made three changes from the side that drew 2-2 at West Brom at the weekend, with Ireland and Bannan the men who freshen up the side.
    • 19:05 ASTON VILLA: Given, Vlaar, Clark, Bennett, Lowton, Ireland, Delph, N'Zogbia, Agbonlahor, Bannan, Benteke - Subs - Guzan, Bent, Lichaj, Holman, Weimann, Stevens, Carruthers /// BRADFORD: Duke, McHugh, Darby, McArdle, Good, Atkinson, Doyle, Hines, Jones, Wells, Hanson - Subs - McLaughlin, Ravenhill, Reid, Thompson, Connell, Nelson, Turgott

  1. I don't care if we are boring, or wonderful to watch, the only thing i want is winning football, so far Lambert hasn't achieved that, playing good football is all well and good, but Villa need to win games, so even if we play rubbish football as long as we start winning, i will be satisfied, just at the moment we aren't playing good football and we aren't winning.

  2. Am I the only Villa supporter who thinks they are playing some decent football this season and that if they can learn to defend set pieces and get a bit of luck in front of goal when attacking, they will survive? David

  20. Another banana skin on Friday night at Milwall. You cannot run a Premier club with inexperienced players who only command Championship or lower wages.
