45+3' The whistle goes for half-time, and the two teams go off for a well-deserved break.

41' Grabban plays Alexander in with a through ball and the Millwall fans roar him on... Shame the flag was already up for offside!

31' Neil Harris cuts a ball back across goal.. it's missed by two Millwall players and comes to Martin at the far post. He appears to take too long in adjusting his position but his shot rebounds off the boot of Mirfin and off the post!
28' Woolford gets in front of his marker and tries to prod home from close range... Forde is quick to react and smothers the ball.
15' Sparrow goes into the book now for yet another late tackle by a Scunthorpe player.
10' Togwell commits another reckless foul, and this time the referee has no choice but to book him.
6' GOAL!! Woolford's shot is saved by Forde but the ball runs loose for Matt Sparrow to blast it into the roof of the net and give Scunthorpe an early lead!
4' Harris bursts into the box on the left. His cross deflects off a defender and up into the air and HERE'S GRABBAN WITH THE HEADER... in the end the effort is tame and Murphy collects.

Its bad news for English football!
Like I said its a family day out the play off final!
Scunthorpe are a small "Family" club, They arnt known for causing trouble.
They have done this over and over again and its about time the FA got some balls and did something about it!
When they played Leeds in the League at Elland Road and we beat them they started smashing up pubs and shops etc etc
They think they are a tough and clever but they are just children that throw there toys out the pram when they lose!

Hello Ricky. The coaches that have been attacked & damaged are from Beverley? Market Weighton, Selby area. I'm only repeating what I've been told.
I agree, it's all rather sad & worrying. Carol, my wife, just rang to say they're desperately drafting in several more emergency units to tend to the violent incidents. All of the casualties she has tended to so far have had Northern accents.
She has transported 23 to local A&E services already.

Scunthorpe.

And Scunthorp is Linconshire, Not Yorkshire!

My wife is also an on-duty paramedic there today Mandy. Apparently it's bedlam up there. Coaches & vehicles indicating Yorkshire identity have been attacked & damaged. The emergency services are fully stretched today attempting to keep Millwall yobs & groups of other London thugs from Charlton, Leyton Orient etc attacking the Scunthorpe people. There have been a few very ugly incidents already apparently, & not many coaches have been able to leave the area due to the trouble.

word coming thru of group of Scunthorpe fans on the recieving end of bad attack (knife) in NW London. 2 stabbed & 3 seriously injured. My brother is on Met duty today at Wembley. I hope they're all ok :(
