yes i watched it and as a city supporter ­ i think we rode our luck even though tranmere didnt­ look like scoring
a boring game really with very­ few shots on target
tranmere passing most of the time­ was pathetic
they did have a few moments and like i­ say things could of been different that save made­ all the difference definitely
well done the city for­ the 3 points but the performance well in a few­ words ' can do better ' sums it up

Tranmere are even­ below Southampton in the league and Saints had ten­ points deducted.

I never wanted to talk about Everton and Liverpool on­ this site
Did you know in the last game at Anfield when­ the Kop was a standing enclosure before the­ installation of seats Norwich at the time a very good­ side in the Premiership were the opponents and beat­ Liverpool.
I'm not into football as I used to be­ and I am certainly not patriotic and I hope Brazil beat­ England.
I expect THUMBS DOWN here

Have Tranmere ever played in Europe
Why­ don't Rovers play in the Welsh Cup but this being­ said I think only the likes of Cardiff and Swansea can­ qualify for Europe down this route even though sides­ like Hereford enter.
(Only Welsh teams qualify for­ Europe)
Getting back to Liverpool Reina is dodgy on­ crosses not even a regular international for SPAIN and­ if Spain had a decent goallie they would have won much­ more as a nation.
Then there is Mascherano (average)­ and Voronin, Kuyt and Lucas (say no more).
I have seen­ Babel play well at times though.

We are going through a bad time and if I am­ being honest I expected Benfica to win even if Everton­ had a full squad to choose from.
We still have a chance­ of qualifying though and will not be relegated
but­ what of Tranmere the worst goal difference in all four­ divisions.
I feel sorry for Parry team with no­ confidence although it looks like he wanted the job.
