  2. The Premier League in England is not the toughest or the best and even if it was the best players in England are now and have been for a long time from overseas countries places like Belgium, Holland, Spain and Argentina.....I'm sure if they wanted to the top teams in England Manchester United, City, Arsenal and Chelsea could if they wanted to put out a team made up completely of foreign players. .....Now in an effort to be fair Saints have had some fine players over the years some like Alan Ball and Peter Shilton joined the club near the end of their career this being said Alan Shearer a player I greatly admire started his career with Southampton BUT if Shearer was playing today Saints could not keep Shearer they would need to sell and in the open market they would not have the money to sign Shearer playing at his best

From Raymond, on Thu 3 Jan 0:11
  3. Twinny.....What I am trying to say is these things happen and it was 0-0 at half time Time to move on now

From Raymond, on Wed 2 Jan 9:36
  4. Twinny.....That is the issue Saints are not competing with any great success, they are in the Top Division to make up the numbers and may well be relegated

From Raymond, on Wed 2 Jan 9:29
  5. raymond the heavy defeat you have just had is from a nice but small club in div 1 ,saints are competing in the toughest league in the world, so how can you compare results you can have your Harrys paid for fa cup and div 1 title, hope those memories make you happy. because they were the catalyst for your demise

From Twinny, on Wed 2 Jan 8:38
  6. Come on boys it cant get much worse than this eh, hopefully there's something around the corner for us. I mean 5-9 against Swindon, they shouldnt even be in the division below us!

From TREVOR, on Wed 2 Jan 6:48
  7. How and why did Pompey get into this state. Who is responsible for it? I dread to look at their result each time they play. I must be like a lot of fans who despair a what has happened to OUR team.

From DAVID, on Tue 1 Jan 23:13

  9. Just in case Saints fans forget every team suffer heavy defeats from time to time remember.....Arsenal 6-1 Southampton, West Ham 4-1 Southamton or even in a League Cup tie Leeds United 3-0 Southampton. Thirteen goals against and only 2 goals for PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN GLASS HOUSES.....

From Raymond, on Tue 1 Jan 17:07

  12. I honestly do not dislike Saints all that much HaHaHa.....but I would rather have Portsmouth. I kind of expected a defeat today but possibly not by so many goals Swindon thrashed Tranmere two weeks ago

From Raymond, on Tue 1 Jan 15:58
  13. High 5!

From david, on Tue 1 Jan 15:58
  14. We are so going down. When the 10 points are taken off, if we ever come out of administration, we'll be rock bottom. Then again there are a fair few grounds that Pompey have yet to visit in League 2.

From Ace, on Tue 1 Jan 15:52
  15. Well in the game for an hour we have now conceded four goals in twelve minutes

From Raymond, on Tue 1 Jan 15:41
