    • 84 Dagnall has a long range lash, but never troubling the keeper.
    • 80 Rochdale corner, turned towards goal by, what looks like, a Gills defender in a crowded pack, and Royce gets down to prevent any embarrassment.
    • 76 MOVE OF THE MATCH. Dagnal runs across the Gills box, lays it off to Thompson who feeds his fellow sub in, and his near post shot is well saved by Royce. Silky stuff!
    • 74 Stewart Lewis nicks the ball off Jones 40 yards out after an awful first touch, and unleashes a rasper towards the top corner, which Fielding, at full stretch, turns round the post.
    • 73 Barcham turns in the Dale box and scuffs a shot just wide of Fieldings post under pressure.

    • 45 BIG CHANCE for Gills. Ball comes flying across Fieldings box and Barcham, who was racing on to it, seemed to shin in towards goal. Fielding gets his footing right and gets down low to save. Best chance so far.
    • 43 Decent ball whipped in from the byline from McArdle, but Nuuter shows great composure to nod it back to his keeper under pressure.
    • 38 Rochdale have the ball in the net, but it's ruled out for offside. Possible handball even prior to that. No great controversy here so no Norwegians needed...
    • 37 Nutter earns a yellow for a tackle from behind. May have taken a bit of the ball, but came well and truely through Buckley to get it.

    • 31 Long ball hoofed in from the byline on the half way line into the Gills box, and Thorpe hangs in the air before directing his header just wide.

    • 6 Corner comes in, falls for Rundle again at the back stick but this time he can't control his left foot effort and the ball sails over for a goal kick.
    • 5 Rundle picks the ball up just outside the Gills box, cuts inside and hits a decent effort which defelcts wide for a corner.
    • 3 Jackson nearly capatalizes on a short back pass by McArdle, but Fielding cleared the danger. Good pressure from Jackson.
