  1. Feethams ground was owned by the Cricket club who still play there. The football ground was to the rear of the cricket ground and leased by the club. This caused some issues when they returned from the Conference as you had to have guarenteed tenure. If you were in the East stand you could watch the girls in Polam private school's netball practice. In any other stand you could just watch the girls on the pitch. At beginning & end of season you could also watch the cricket too. Value for money or what.

  2. No doubt Darlo will have the best stadium in the Conference. If they are still around. Didn't they use to share a cricket Pitch. Bet they would like the Super Spireites position. It may be an old ground but in the league it is a fortress.

  3. Steeped in history maybe but still full of potty mouthed supporters " get into them f%$* them up" is hardly very intelligent. I'll be glad when the place is flattened. Think I'll go to tescos instead and watch the new groung being built for 2 hours. At least the last time the Quakers have to visit this hole & go to the toilet on a steeped in history breeze block wall !

  5. It's not the state of the ground it's the players on it that make the difference in results

  6. Thank goodness that we can all go to the Tesco stadium next year. Saltergate is a disgrace of a ground.
