  1. No doubt the Pope can keep it going until Xmas and afterwards, provided he carries on getting the service from Vincent and JMW. I can't imagine Micky agreeing to him being sold. Provided we have new owners by then - God help us if we haven't! - they should have enough sense to see it would be daft to sell him and he seems a lot more loyal to the Vale than Richards. Great result against an in-form team, back to Vale Park next Monday to see Oxford get all they deserve - particularly Sean Rigg. There is a saying about rats and sinking ships, only in this case the ship isn't going down, its going up! TWOY!

  4. Go the Pope! Two goals and still thirty minutes to go! Why can't we put teams like Dagenham to the sword when we can put five goals past Fleetwood and go to Exeter and hopefully get two points today as well. TWOY

  6. Could be a good time to play Exeter given their recent form, but we need to improve on yesterday's performance. We outplayed Dagenham until Micky replaced Burge with Shuker who couldn't impose himself on midfield and let Dagenham dictate too much play. The loss of midfield gave them room in front of our back four which a better team would've exploited. The good news is that we created chances that, on another day, could've produced 4 or 5 goals. Dagenham were lucky not to go down to 10 men when Chris Neal was followed through on as he came out to smother the ball and got the rub of the green on several other decisions. On the other hand, perhaps Dagenham just did to us what we did to Bradford, but not quite so successfully. TWOY
