  1. And which 'quality teams' did Chesterfield fail­ to beat so far this season, Michael? If drawing with­ Gilingham was your worst performance this season, what­ happened when you lost and in the other 4 draws? Afraid­ it isn't only cream that rises to the top, either.

  2. first team you play with any quality and guess what you­ lose 2-0. We played them at their place and drew 0-0­ and it was the worst spireite performance this year!!!­ The rots started for the FAIL.And yes the cream has­ started to rise !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CREAM.

  3. If Gillingham had replaced Stimson earlier and­ Hessenthaler at Xmas last season I'm sure we would­ probably be back in League one.Fair play to Martin­ Allen.He's doing something right especially in­ defence.

  9. It is horribly quiet. I think I preferred Daz and his­ pathetic gibberish to this. I know we are playing well,­ if not very well, and I dread to think what we could do­ if Micky had any money to spend, but it doesn't­ seem right when people aren't slagging us off! Lets­ hope the administrators find a buyer soon. Good 3­ points to pick up tomorrow, before a couple of away­ games. TWOY!

With Gillingham missing 4­ players, we should be an even better bet for 3 points!­ As the Pope said, with two wingers playing on the­ wings, we are creating more chances and the Pope and­ Dodds are putting them away.   12. In Mickee's case, "Silence is golden" if­ unusual. Yet again, family commitments are going to­ stop me getting to Vale Park, but given the score­ against Rotherham when I missed the game, perhaps my­ staying away is a good thing! Good to see Dodds get on­ the scoresheet, he ought to score more than he does as­ the ability is there, maybe just not the confidence.­ Playing alongside the Pope, he should get more chances­ than he did with Richards playing up-front. We do need­ to tighten up at the back, 6 league games without a­ clean sheet is not good.
