  8. Another good win last night and one we deserved. Pity­ we picked up 2 needless yellow cards, which we may come­ to regret later in the season. Apart from a 15 second­ patch when we didn't clear our lines properly, they­ didn't cause us any real problems. While I still­ think he is better used in midfield, Lofts has­ developed into a very effective left back, the defence­ is looking very tight and the midfield and attack are­ creating chances. Pity I won't be able to see­ Rotherham get stuffed this weekend! TWOY!

  10. I'll be at Vale Park again tonight, Bernard.­ Hopefully we'll carry on playing as we did against­ Torquay but actually take some of the chances we­ create. The team did work hard, and it wasn't just­ hard work, they played some very good football at times­ and deserved 3 points. Can't be there on Saturday -­ have family commitments, but will follow on-line. TWOY!

Good game against Torquay; they are an experienced and­ well-organised side but didn't really threaten a­ great deal, despite the fact they scored both goals!­ They only had one real chance and took it while we hit­ the post a couple of times, the bar, the roof of the­ net and the side netting. We dominated the game, played­ some very good football but the inability to score is­ worrying. No good creating chances if you don't­ take them. The defence is looking tight and as is the­ midfield. Tranmere will be another tough game, as will­ Rotherham, but bring it on! TWOY!
