Real Madrid clinched their 32nd La Liga title and their first in four years after a frenetic 3-0 win at 10-man Athletic Bilbao. More
90+3' The referee blows the full time whistle and that's it. All the players and backroom staff come onto the pitch to celebrate. Spain's the fourth country Mourinho's won the title in...what a manager he is.
90+2' Ronaldo is through one-on-one, but he can't put the ball past the reach of Iraizoz. The Bilbao fans mock him and Ronaldo shows the fans his badge.
88' Real Madrid substitution: Marcelo gets a bit of last minute action as he replaces Callejon.
85' Callejon goes down as he approaches the box and Perez is furious with him as he picks up the yellow. It was definitely a foul, but Callejon also definitely went down.
79' Benzema wins the ball back twice and plays to Ozil. Real bring the German off though as they always do. It's Granero coming on for him.
76' Madrid substitution: Higuain is replaced by Benzema for the final 15 minutes.
72' Ramos wins the ball and on the counter it's three against two. He releases the ball towards Ronaldo and Martinez gets his second yellow for handball.
69' Alonso trips De Marcos on the half way line, then Susaeta is done by Alonso again. Yellow card for him this time.
67' De Marcos with a fantastic strike from distance. It's rockets towards the top corner and Casillas is saved by the crossbar.
65' He's lucky to get away with the yellow card. Ibai takes the freekick but it's disappointing as it goes well over the bar.
60' What a ball from Alonso as he finds Callejon. His first touch just takes him away from goal slightly, but he still forces Iraizoz into an excellent save at his near post.
51' Goal! Madrid 3-0 Bilbao - And Ronaldo finally does get his goal. Alonso whips the corner in and Ronaldo heads completely unmarked into the far corner. That's the title.
48' Bilbao substitution at the start of this second half as Iraola comes on for San Jose.
46' Quiet start to the second half. You sense both teams might not mind the current state of affairs. Madrid for obvious reasons, Bilbao because they're preparing for two cup finals.
45+2' Half time and Madrid are almost there.
45+1' Just one minute of stoppage time at the end of this first half and it's Madrid who are ending it strongest. Toquero picks up a yellow for an earlier foul on Arbeloa as the ref waved play on.
38' Ozil on his right side from 25 yards and it's his turn to strike the crossbar!
36' This is in a really good position on the corner of the box...the bar to the rescue for Madrid. Aurtenetxe has his effort saved and the follow up takes a deflection and cannons off the bar!
35' Coentrao fouls Susaeta just outside the area and picks up the yellow.
20' Goal! Madrid 2-0 Bilbao - Alonso with the outside of the foot sweeps it out to Ronaldo on the right. He takes a touch and plays a wonderful pass across goal for Ozil to put back across goal and into the far corner.
18' Chance for Bilbao as they slice through the defence. Aurtenetxe with a scuffed shot in the area and Khedira possible handles it as it goes out for a corner. Massive appeals, but the ref ignores it.
17' Goal! Madrid 1-0 Bilbao - What a goal that is. Quick, intricate passing between Ronaldo, Ozil and Higuain, who takes a touch on the edge of the box and rifles it into the top corner.
15' Ramos lunges in on Toquero. He gets some of the ball, but more of the man and it's a yellow.
14' Ronaldo steps up and dinks it down the middle. Iraizoz hadn't gone far to his right though and can knock the ball over the bar with his legs!
13' Penalty to Madrid! The corner comes in and Martinez has his hands in the air as the ball strikes them from Ramos' header.
3' Coentrao embarassingly falls to the floor in the area, isn't given, but seconds later forces Iraizoz into a save with a fierce drive.
2' Iraizoz comes out to the edge of the area and gets hands to the ball as Higuain looks to round him.
1' These two teams and supporters don't like each other. Bilbao really won't want Madrid to win the title here, so should be a really good game.

@comment 28 : madrid has oezil, which is very fired up this season. He's same type of player with Kaka. Perhaps the same reason mourinho didnot bring sneijder back
"Coach Jose Mourinho becomes the first man to win league titles in his native Portugal, England, Italy and Spain and has ended Barca's three-year stranglehold on the title, the club where he was an assistant coach in the 1990s." -- i didn't say it. A journalist did.

Cubes i think the Greatest coach of all time is without doupt the late Brian Clough, won championships at Derby and Forest small clubs with small money, also 2 champions leagues(European Cups~) several league cups and soforth. He also produced and found more International players than any coach past or present,Mcfarland,Nish,Todd,Ohare,Roberson,Gemill,Newto n,Rioch,James,Hinton,Hector ect, ect, ect could name 100+ a real manager who could take a rough stone and polish it into a Diamond.R.I.P. Brian Clough and thanks for the memories.
Wanted more Ronaldo goals but congratulations Real Madrid!
King Jose Mourinho has now taken throne in Spain alongside his princes!
Once upon a time a saw some thing like this 5 - 0
Grant - saying that FACT does not make it a FACT. FACT!!!!
Having said that, Mourinho is so far the Greatest coach football has ever produced!
29.Pep has done great job at Barca. It has never been in dispute! Let me say why I think Mou is preferable to Pep until Pep goes to another club to win titles as he did in Barca. Mou first came to limelight with relatively obscure Porto players to clinch CL title in 2004. He went to Chelsea immediately won back-to-back EPL title and hordes of other domestic trophies. At Inter he repeated the same feat, and of Course capped them with another CL title. At Real Madrid, he is just going to win 2 trophies in 2 years, his worst record ever. Now, wherever Mou goes, he assembles his own team and makes immediate impact. I think to be able to assemble 4 different teams winning in 4 different countries is not a mean feat. So may argue that he wins with money, and without money he fails. But the truth is that no club runs without money to replenish its team. Even then we know several cases of managers that have spent unprecedented figures in funds yet failed to secure a comparable result. That is my case for Mou. Coming to Pep, if I fail to give a huge acclaim for 13 trophies in 4 years, them I must be an idiot. But why I still want him to challenge us is that at Barca he inherited an emerging team set up by Rijkaard. Players like Puyol, Messi, Inesta, Xavi who are the central nervous system of the club were there at his arrival, and they were getting to their peak. In addition to this, Pep has the Barca team B that always provides him with ready made players. But some managers might still fail to deliver even with those kind of structures. That is why Pep is undeniably a great coach. The big question however, is whether he has the wizardry to assemble a winning club on his own without an already established foundation and supporting infrastructures. And again, coming to Mou, remember that some titles naturally come as a consequence of a previous one, like the Super cups, domestic or European, and even, the World Club stuff. he shouldnt leave
grant what is ur problem with barcelona?ur team is winning the leageu already u do not celebrate with them u are busy talking rubish about barcelona maybe the word barcelona is ur prpblem and if that is the case it can not get solve till eternity.
