    • 90+4' Too much on the ball and it's cleared. Lopez canters back and Villarreal are now on the ball...and now get the freekick and that is that. A good late effort from Villarreal, but they didn't create enough in those final minutes.
    • 90+3' Lopez comes up after Villarreal get the foul on halfway...
    • 90+2' Cazorla wins the foul on the halfway line that eats up valuable seconds. Demichelis tries to hit the ball long over the top and loses possession.
    • 90+1' Joselu makes an intelligent dart into the area. The ball meets him, but the angle to goal is tight and he smashes the ball into the side netting.
    • 90' Valero with a deep cross. The angle is just too narrow and Willy catches with ease.
    • 89' Malaga win the throw on halfway and look to get it down the line, most likely towards the corner.
    • 88' Buonanotte goes down under the challenge of Rodriguez. There are desperate shouts from the Villarreal players but the ref isn't listening.
    • 87' Yellow card for Perez as he does Buonanette out on the wing.
