A late brace from Lionel Messi saw Barcelona come from a goal behind to beat Osasuna 2-1 at the Estadio Reyno de Navarra in La Liga. More
FT Osasuna 1-2 Barcelona. Messi proves crucial again as Barca turn it around to secure victory.
90' Puyol has taken a hit here and is receiving treatment on the field.
89' Xavi comes on in the 70th minute and Barca turn it around. Coincidence? Tweet me
85' Osasuna's Lolo sees yellow for a block on Jordi Alba
83' How crucial was Nino's miss? The substitute missed a one-on-one just minutes before Barca's equaliser. And that goal has dampened the enthusiasm of the crowd. Tweet me
82' Osasuna Lamah has also seen yellow.
81' Pique has picked up a booking here.
80' Barca have turned this around! It's a lovely finish by Messi as Jordi Alba rolls the ball in from the left and the World Player of the Year sweeps it into the bottom corner first-time. Beautiful finish, and Barca now lead.
79' GOAL! Osasuna 1-2 Barcelona (Messi)
78' Osasuna sub: Timor on, Sisi off
77' Osasuna's Punal has been sent off for protesting the decision to award Barcelona's goal.
77' Barca equalise, but it's not without controversy. Osasuna were obstructed by the referee in midfield as Messi won the ball and drove forward. The ball found its way out to the right to Pedro, and then Alexis, who found Messi to slid the ball in from close range.
76' GOAL! Osasuna 1-1 Barcelona (Messi)
75' Barca sub: Villa on, Tello off
72' At the other end Messi threads the ball through to Alexis, who fires straight at Andres. Andres has been excellent today.
70' What. A. Miss.. Nino spuns a golden chance to put the game to bed, moments after coming on. Busquets was caught dwelling on the ball and Nino raced towards Valdes but could only find the outside of the post.
68' Osasuna sub: Nino on, Llorente - the goal scorer - off
66' So close to a second for Osasuna! Lamah leaves Alves in his wake as he drives into the box but drags his left-foot shot achingly wide of the far post. 2-0 probably would have sealed it, but Barca are hanging in there.
65' Barca sub: Pedro on, Fabregas off
63' Sisi goes close! Puyol carelessly gives the ball away on the edge of his own box and Sisi's low drive is held well by Valdes.
49' Alba has limped off to receive treatment, but he looks like he'll be ok.
48' Osasuna's Raoul Loe is booked for a foul on Alba.
46' We're underway in the second half.

HT Barca have had their chances but Osasuna deserve their lead at the break. Plenty for Tito Vilanova to tell his players... An interesting second half awaits. Tweet me
HT Osasuna 1-0 Barcelona
45' Chance for Barca! Fabregas wins a free kick and quickly rolls it to Messi, who lets fly from 20 yards. Andres saves the inital effort and gets up quickly to deny Iniesta on the follow up.
35' Busquets is booked for a foul. That was a little more clear cut.
33' Damia is booked but, I must admit, I'm not sure why... Could have been something he said.
30' Osasuna come so close to a second! Lamah drives down the left and has his effort saved by Valdes. The ball falls to Llorente, who then has two effort blocked by Pique before Barca clear.
28' Flag is up again, this time against Tello. Osasuna will get caught out sooner or later...
27' Sisi sees yellow for obstructing a free-kick.
26' Iniesta should score! Alexis the danger again as he cuts the ball back to Iniesta, who fires over from 12 yards unde pressure from Arribas. Huge let-off for Osasuna.
18' How about this? Lamah scampers down the left and whips a cross towards Llorente at the far post, who gets behind Jordi Alba to tuck away a side-foot volley. 1-0 Osasuna.
17' GOAL! Osasuna 1-0 Barcelona (Llorente)
16' Messi is flagged offside but he was ONSIDE. He would have been clean through, and surely would have given Barca the lead.
14' Barca hit the post! Iniesta lays the ball to Tello, who cuts inside and drives an effort towards goal, but Andres touches it onto the base of the post.
2' Valdes is forced into an early save from Cejudo, who jinks into a shooting position in the box but the Barca keeper makes a crucial stop!

I think A. Song would have his own day to play within the Barca matrix-like of football, but Barca is a delight to watch, Messi makes it look simple...Bravo!!
Get off the hate train and enjoy the good football. no dirty tackles just football.
Teams sit so deep against Barca and they have so many players running into space, it makes it very difficult for the linesmen to see make the call correct every time. marginal in any case, with Pedro coming back inside with the ball for the first goal. No one ever mentions the times Messi is through only to be flagged offside even though he wasnt - knowing him he'd probably have scored from those chances. As Macherano said during the week - irrespective of the score against Madrid, they were all over them and only a die hard Madrid fan would say Barcelona didnt deserve to win 4-1 at least. Enjoy the good football while its here, and enough of the hating.
where is Masoud ?
When you have Messi on your side, you have Mercy.
wel said joel. this basterds don't know how it is to do such thing and i think most of them never touched a ball. so they just talk. by the way madshit lost from getafe. VIVA Barcelona
For anyone who actually watched the match, two clear and one marginal onside attacks were nullified by sloppy linesmen. The last would have sent Messi free with no one to beat by the goalkeeper. All that, despite a fairly lacklustre match by Barca before the entrance of Xavi, Pedro and Villa. Osasuna did a good job, but they didn't deserve a point. After the terrible heat of Thursday night, I'm just happy that Barca had any energy at all. I live in Barcelona and it's been suffocating just to sit in the shade, let alone play great football with quick combinations and lots of off-ball movement.
all you #$%$ haters who dont know what the hell your talking a bout get the hell out of Barca's page. if you don't know nothing about football than why dont you shut up. for your info: this ref is known as the anti barca ref. in 10 matches he has given madrid 9 penaltys and only one to Barca. And belive it or not Barca is the bast team in the world. all you basterds know is to score a goal and start defanding the rest of the time. non of yours engish football team can attack as barca does. not even your arsenal man city, united or all time cheaters the #$%$ CHEATSEA. so you can all put suck in it Viva BARCELONA
did you say Osasuna 1 -2 real madrid?
Barca got off lightly tonight. I like them but they really didn't deserve to win. Well done by Messi though,he's not the best in the world for nothing
