    • 90+3 That's it from Paris. The hosts re-open a three point advantage at the top of the table – with Beckham’s introduction late on key to Ancelotti’s men seeing out an absorbing encounter.

    • 87' Valbuena finds Fanni the just outside the box but his well-struck shot is punched clear.

    • 59' The kick is flicked on by Ayew and Armand makes a hash of a pretty simple clearance as he slices it out for a corner. Ibra clears the resulting corner.

    • 55' Lucas finds some space down the right before cutting the ball back to Ibra, who steadies himself but his shot is blocked from the edge of the box. Throw.
    • 53' Valbuena slips the ball between the home defence into the run of Gignac, whose clipped effort is going in but for the elbow of Sirigu. Great save but the referee doesn’t give it as a corner.
    • 51' The second half definitely has a lower intensity but Lavezzi breaks down the left before centring for Pastore. Mandanda gets a hand to it. But Ibrahimovic can’t get to the break of the ball.

    • 45' PENALTY? Not according to the referee. Ibrahimovic heads the ball into the run of Lavezzi, who does well to take the ball on his chest on the run before NKoulou appears to bring him down as he looks to shoot. The referee waves play on.
    • 44' Very fortunate not to be two down there. Ibrahimovic looks for Lavezzi and, while the ball has too much on it, a breakdown in communication means that NKoulou and Mandanda meet on the edge of the box. The defender’s attempted clearance comes off Mandanda and out for a throw.
    • 43' Sirigu has to again makes a smart low stop as Gignac comes in from the left before unleashing a dipping effort.
    • 42' Marseille coming more and more into this one.
    • 40' Gignac touches the ball to Valbuena, whose crisp, swerving shot it creeping in but for the hand of Sirigu. Good save.

    • 38' Barton exchanges passes with Valbuena to set the diminutive French forward into space in the box. The assistant referee’s flag is a loft but the call is wrong.

He commits the defenders before slipping the ball square to Ibra but he elects to attempt to come inside and the defender pokes out a foot to clear.
    • 34' Lavezzi again comes in from the left but his touch is a fraction heavy as he looks to bring a lofted pass under control and the chance has gone.
    • 33' Ibra is found by Lavezzi but the run was miss-timed by a fraction.
    • 32' The corner is easily cleared and the competition for the return ball is brought to a halt by the referee’s whistle for a Gignac infringement.
    • 31' Kadir receives the ball from Fanni before slipping the ball through a PSG defender’s leg to work some space and draw a smart save from Sirigu from just inside the box.
    • 30' The visitors are getting great joy down the PSG left.
    • 29' Fanni lifts a ball into the box and Barton rises above both Gignac and a PSG defender to get a header on target but it loops up and is a rudimentary save in the end.

    • 25' Marseille are awarded a free-kick for a late challenge from Matuidi. Valbuena lofts it in deep to the box from wide left and, while Ayew appears to make a fair challenge for the ball, the referee blows for a foul on Sirigu.
    • 23' Lavezzi leads another charge forward and he picks out Jallet with a smart square ball but Mendes was alert to it and he clears. Lucas races back to win the ball back and he is now down injured.
    • 21' Yellow for the forward following a slight hiatus for the injury to the Marseille man.
    • 20' PSG again turn defence into attack at devastating speed but this surge forward from Ibrahimovic is brought to a shuddering halt by the lunge of Ayew. Foul and the Ghanaian looks in some discomfort having jarred his knee.
    • 18' Lavezzi again makes a darting, inventive run but with the ball delayed he is offside and the flag is aloft.
    • 17' Valbuena works a yard down the right before looking for Gignac at the near post. The forward is met by Alex as he looks to hook the centre goalwards and the ball comes back off the forward for a goal-kick. Half a chance there.
    • 15' Marseille, set up relatively defensively, have been cut open a few times thus far but they are in this one. A tremendously open game.
    • 14' PSG break again at pace but the option chosen is again the wrong one.
    • 13' Lucas has been bright and deserved that goal but there was a huge slice of luck to it.
    • 11' GOOOAL!!! PSG break and Lucas Moura looks to slip the ball through to Ibra but the ball has too much on it. Just as the move had looked to have lost its impetus, the ball is worked to the Brazilian again, and he cuts inside and strikes from just outside the box. It takes a double-deflection off first Barton and then NKoulou to completely deceive Mandanda. 1-0.
    • 10' Lucas leads another break forward but A.Ayew tracks his run diligently to win the ball back. This has been a frantic start.
    • 8' Lucas’s delivery is just behind Pastore but the attacker quickly modifies his stance before attempting an over-head kick. He gets his timings wrong though but the flag is up for offside anyway.
    • 7' Barton looks for a ball into the box but Jallet chests back to Sirigu.
    • 6' The visitors have been so sloppy thus far. They have offered very little threat going forward to boot.
    • 4' The strike is straight at the wall but the Swede races into the box looking for a second ball. It comes but is a fraction too high and his attempt at a header skids off the top of his head and out for a goal-kick.
    • 3' He really should have scored there and tries to make immediate amends but is brought down by Morel as he meanders towards goal. Ibrahimovic pulls rank over the free-kick some thirty yards from goal.
    • 2' L'OM begin very deep with Barton and Romao almost making a back six but Ibrahimovic, who had come deep, found Lavezzi in behind and bearing down on Mandanda. In so much space, the Argentine has time to measure a volley but thrashes against the post.
    • 1' The original, rotund Ronaldo partakes in a ceremonial kick-off before the visitors actually get us underway to the whistles of the home faithful.
    • 19:55 Beckham has been introduced to the Parc des Princes faithful with the snow falling and the atmosphere raucous. Five minutes to kick-off.
    • 19:50 Last weekend’s defeat against lowly Sochaux coupled with Marseille’s last-gasp victory over Valenciennes has added increased significance to this already hotly contested derby. Lyon are level at the top of the table following their 3-1 win over FC Lorient earlier today and a win for Marseille would put them two points off the joint-leaders.
    • 19:45 New signing Alaixys Romao partners Joey Barton in midfield but the influential Benoit Cheyrou has been ruled out. Jordan Ayew begins a two match suspension.
    • 19:40 Manager Carlo Ancelotti can again call on the services of Lucas Moura and Alex but Thiago Motta, Mamadou Sakho and Thiago Silva are still absent. Despite the expected pre-match interest regarding David Beckham’s role in tonight’s fixture, he starts on the bench – as expected. French television will be employing a 'Beck Cam', though.
